Reminds me of the BP with the B7A2. This is a nice addition although I wish the score requirements were lower still. When the IS-2 no. 321 event was around the score requirement was only 20000. The Yak-3 is at a lower rank and BR than it
the b7a at least had a much more powerful engine, this is just a skin
The B7A2 also had a much better engine, and it was free. If you play every now and then and manage to complete some of the BP Challenges then it's super easy to get it.
if it was 20k or at the VERY LEAST a tier 4 it would be worth it, but 10k a day for a tier 3?? no thanks, im just gonna play and if i somehow get it then so be it but im not gonna worn my ass for it
Tankenstein - that's not a typo. If you look at the 3rd picture you can pick (right side from above) you can see that the opening for the right gun has been covered, while the 4th picture if you look closely the left is still uncovered. It even states in the bit about him and the plane above it - this was built specifically for him, and mentions that previously - they had a Yak-1B built for him - which only has 1 MG on the left side of the nose. Other than maybe cost - it was likely done cause it made it closer to the 1B he was flying but means that in game - were getting a Yak-3 missing a gun, so likely getting a lower BR - the question is how much because the Yak-9's that have only a 12.7 and 20mm are the rank 2 3.3 BR planes, the ones with heavier cannons are 3.7 in terms of planes closer to it than the 1B is.
I'd like to get it but I'm not spending 5 hours/day after work to get 35k points as someone with tier 4 planes.
you have a job, you can easily afford 30€ for the plane if you dont have time

Man i was really hyped for the Victory Day event going to happen, cus you know, something cool might be the reward like the andryusha with big ass rockets last year. But after i saw 35k in 2 days and just a normal yak3 with different name and skin, nah not gonna waste my time this year

1 7.62 mm aint really effective...they again i want the Walrus in the tech tree
@@keyeah0 It's an old soviet flying boat. I think it could carry small bombs. They made lot's of prototypes, but they were mainly used as catapult testing aircraft for ships. I think it's very pretty and I really really want one

You could just get the French Yak-3 from the War Bond shop next time it's available. 35k x6 marks for basically just a skin is pretty bad.

I'm so sick and tired of them increasing the points requirement for these events. Used to be 20k and now we've practically doubled it at 35k. I have a life outside the game and am not gonna be wasting it getting a copy-paste plane.

Japan is in dire need of new vehicles and yet they don't care they only keep adding Vehicles to the Soviets and Sweden.

i acutally am really happy about this because its a fighter i can use to grind sl instead of the heavy wyvern which is the only other premium i have
Just don't turn fight in the Wyvern and your literally invincible
Bomb bases with the 3 1000lbers, then turn for enemy strike plans and you can easily get 3+ kills consistently

If you want premiums there should be a 50% off on all the packs on Monday
I understand the pain... also doesn't help that the Wyvern has a pretty low SL bonus compared to similar BR premiums, I think it's like 30% lower so it adds up unfortunately.
For a Rank3 copy/paste vechicle in a nation that already has it in the TT, 35k it's way too much. The current event vechicle which is a Rank 6 in a minor nation TT, we need the same 35k. So big no on grinding the plane on purpose. I wonder what we'll get for 25k? An R1 biplane?😂
Again, with work & family commitments, 35,000 points a day for six days is way beyond me. For me, it would be at the very least 30 - 40 games every day and more likely 70+. I will never get one of these event vehicles with the current system.

The Yak-3 is also the best soviet prop
If you start this event with rank 3 Russia, by the time you get the 6 marks you'll be in rank 5 and this plane will serve no purpose but a mediocre money maker

As tank main, i dont even have rank III air XD. I have rank 2 US and Germany. Guess i wont get mig 29 easily without this plane, but i cant get to rank III USSR in time for the event. Rip to me

This is crazy there is no flipping way am working 3-4 hours a day for a copy paste in the same tech tree as the original. 35,000 score is mad the max amount it should be is 20,000.
Now imagine grinding for a coupon it takes me like 8h a day 50k score. It's insane this was the first and the last time i'm doing those marathons. WT events been getting worse and worse each year plus you get just 1 vehicle.
Bruh if it takes you 8 hours to get 35k in Air then that's just a horrific skill issue.

This is NOT a copyapste vehicle. There is no error in the description. It has 1 less machine gun than the yak-3 and sits at a lower BR. Stop parroting everything you hear.

Gaijin is really on a streak in convincing me to keep spading Rank 1 and 2. Unironically. The mix of life sucking grind and mind-numbing laziness is really saving my evenings right now.

Because it's gaijin they are scumbags. Play Enlisted if you want fair events 20k score which is much easier to achieve than WT i can do it within 1-5matches and then rest for the next day.
I mean the Yak-3 is a pretty busted plane and it also earns extra SL and RP, what is there to complain about?
Copy paste, the second Russian event vehicle out of 5, and Russia getting the only OP event vehicle so far. That makes:
Ground - 1 new, OP, and under tiered Russian tank, 1 Chinese artillery with Russian gun
Air - 1 copy paste British jet, 1 copy paste Russian fighter
Naval - 1 meh German ship
35k points for a damn tier 3 premium, if it was a tier 4, or if it required less points around 20k, then it would be perfectly fine
Cause there is plenty yak-3s, events should be for unique and rare aircraft. The Jaguar IS was different because that’s a modified variant but this is just a plain yak.
35K is too much for a reskinned rank three tech tree airplane.

35k is pretty reasonable for AirRB, if you're half decent it's not too hard to get like 2k score per match.
idk, the Yak is fine, it's an OP low br plane that should be very good for earning SL. At the very least it's interesting because of it's personal history.
