Great vid! Youre helping me learn fire and I appreciate it. I noticed youre not using the Potion of Withiering Dreams here as your health pot. Id highly recommend it since it gives you 620K HP back instead of the 155k + ticking heal. It does do 400K to you over 30 seconds which is negligible esp if you have diverted energy plus alchemy talents. Also it can almost completely remove crushing depths in a 24 fort! God, your videos are so motivating because i suck on fire mage soooo much) its so confusing to play it after melee, every movement or interrupt ruins your rotation or crit chain and i end up on the bottom of details. Yesterday tried demo - its so much easier! But i really love fire gameplay, gonna learn with your videos
You can spell steal icy veins on the witch adds on the first boss, both of them and it stacks. Usually don't get a ton of value cuz it's only 10 seconds. Shifting power with icy floes is good for the 2nd boss if it's up around then.
Great vid, you can actually line of sight the grips on the packs before the 3rd boss with the little pillars on the side of the room, so you can just duck in at the end of the cast to negate it :)
My mage is frost geared atm. How much haste/vers do you need for fire to really pop off? Cause atm ofc im frost statted so when I try out fire it’s ofc weaker but I do want to try fire. I recently got a haste/vers staff and haste/vers ring out of vault
I switch from ret pala to fire mage and its a lot fun! I saw a ignite build but i play with flamstrike which its better? Im in keys level around 21-23 at the moment Thanks for the video they arent many fire mage playing as you said xd
Ignite and flamestrike will give similar overalls - in high keys on fortified you'll see fire mages running ignite build though. Play whatever is more fun imo, the difference seems pretty minor so far. Also requires more mastery if doing ignite build

Ignite is still viable from what I've seen so far, have yet to run it myself - They're both pretty similar and will exceed in different scenarios, but your overall will look close in just about every dungeon in higher keys
@@pumptastic I appreciate it! Classic case of healer main gone DPS. My wall was 25s. Brand new mage, a few weeks old and trying to learn lol. The commentary vids like this are so much more helpful than guides at target dummy’s. Just under 3k at the moment, will likely main firemage next season.

you can use arcane explosion to push the oozes back on the 2nd boss. nice video by the way

42% crit, ~34% haste, 11% mastery, 27% vers - flamestrike in general wants a lot of vers, mostly up-front damage
how do you show combustion on your player frame?
I've noticed all the top fires are pandas, is there a real reason for this?
He has the toy model change on, top fire mages are dwarf
Or tauren for horde. For their crit dam racials
Haha, we just like panda models. Everyone is either dark iron dwarf on alliance, or Tauren on horde. I'm horde so Tauren
