  • Last week, Alex Murdaugh testified he received permission to install emergency blue lights on his vehicle from then-Hampton County sheriff Thomas Smalls. South Carolina is where it happened. (The murders) That is the nature of the beast.Where the trial is held.
To get what we hope is a fair trial, the defendant needs to be truthful, which he is not and that is proven.
Alex will now be hoping that the reputation built up by his FAMILY, will want those that remember THEM (his family) and THEIR reputations to defend HIM. The same as an alibi. Possibly lying about where the accused was, to protect them, it takes just one friend, to lie or not recall to fracture a prosecution case.
If this Mr Small, (retired law enforcement officer) had said, l don't recall, l MAY have approved a blue light for Alex's car, it would have been very helpful to Alex's case. Fortunately Mr Small, took HIS own job, very seriously and knew he would NEVER do that and was ardemment. The defendent cannot rely on others, that may respect, or have respected him, or his family, to have memories fading about interactions with him or even lie for him. This is a risk, desperate people take. He took it. Unfortunately he is so guilty, about so many other things, that is a reality.
      All his own doings.
Please don't think l'm shouting out words either, simply highlighting, like in the good old days🙂

This trial should be a wake up call for everyone. First, we need to get over the idea of seemingly “normal” people being incapable of terrible and selfish crimes. They are. They commit those crimes everyday. Second, that ego maniac pushed every limit of every situation. The list of his lies and all the skeletons in his closet (which might actually turn into real skeletons bc this guy is off), went on for years! His behavior was ignored and allowed. Maybe if some of these people had actual stepped in and called him out early on in his adult life, he wouldn’t have ended up slaughtering 2 members of his family. He lies about everything and then stutters and tries to get all emotionally weird, but his eyes often gives him away. He is empty.

Please tell me how you would feel as a juror dealing with him lying repeatedly to you, as recent as him telling you the sheriff you are seeing right now, told him he can have blue lights to which this sheriff said no he did not say that. That’s lying. That’s a major credibility issue. You guys need to go watch cartoons. Please and thank you.

He then gets out the car & stands there while talking to 911. He never went to their bodies bcos he didn't want the phone to cut off or see what he had done. You can hear the distance of dogs as soon as police arrives & he moves closer.

Some of those folks will seriously doubt that it Snowed last night, just because they didn't see it happening. Everyone isn't on the same level of intelligence. Some things will go over the heads of some folks, while others will be five steps ahead of the game. Alex is a master manipulator who knows how to size up a person at first glance. 1 ) His wife was going to divorce him, he would lose (money) in a
    settlement.
2 ) His son had a possible financially devastating law suit coming up
that could cost 30-40 million USD. He loves money more than his
family. Add all of the other financial thefts and deception, led him
to make a fatal choice regarding his wife and son, they had become
    dispensable liabilities. Sad choice.
3 ) His wife and son confronted / maybe threatened him about “the
pills”. Overall, his life was imploding and he lashed out.
