Holy Moly, your home is coming along quickly. Assuming you gave the concrete enough time to set, your framing, dry wall and outside of the home comes up quicker. Wow, amazing. LIKE 36. 👍👍👍
Yes, the concrete was given plenty of cute time. We are excited to move in soon.

Wow! Framing always goes quickly. It was always one of my favorite things to do. I also enjoyed hanging the Sheetrock, that’s when the interior finally comes together. I would always take Becky around on Friday evenings so she could see the progress on what we had under construction. This is so exciting! Can’t wait to see what’s next. Butch and Becky 😀😀
It really is impressive seeing it take shape. Our Amish builder calls it show. He says the framing and walls are the show that people look forward to seeing when they build.
Wow! That went up quick. It must have been so exciting to see in real time! Bill is definitely working hard! Cleaning that brush out is alot of work! But that honeysuckle is so pretty and I am sure the garden will be amazing. Love the apple and pear trees. The front porch looks great!! It is really coming together. Congrats on the new addition!

I love something coming out of nothing. Bill is Superman. I love the change to just window and door in the back. My room lol. Time lapse would have been super cool. All of the windows are fantastic. We didn't build this house. It is hard not having a window at my kitchen sink.

I've always wanted to take on my own project like this! It looks like it would be so much hard work but so much more rewarding when you actually get to benefit from your own creation!

I haven't made a ton of decisions on that yet because the house needs to come first, but as I find some fun things I'm picking them up. I have picked up a morning glory, several fruit trees, mountain laurel, and another bush that the name escapes me. 😂. Oh, and lilac bushes too.
Wow DeeAnna that is amazing what they got done while you were out shopping and doing laundty. I love your kitchen view 😃and the guests will love their bedroom ! Shame Bill didn't do a timelapse and it does now look like a house. It's going to be great having so many windows to look out. I guess Bill was / is in the construction business as he seems to know what he's doing with this whole build outside and inside, soo good. You have been busy too with the clearing of the grounds. Good idea to move the garden to the sunny area next year and the porch and back patio she looking good. This was a big amount of work done, so impressive! ~ Anna 👍
We are getting so excited. It's been a long time since we had our own piece of property. The timelapse would definitely have been really cool. He was a project manager for a construction company, and yes, he definitely knows what he is doing. 😂

It’s looking so great- that one bush down by your mailbox looks like wild hawthorn to me DeAnna - I’m not sure if it’s as prolific in NY as it is in Va - it spreads like wildfire and grows to the size of a tree here. I get rid of it because of that and the thorns it gets are pretty wicked if you try trimming it to control it’s size 😢 I love honeysuckle too😊
Thanks for the information. I'll see if we can get rid of it. Sure don't want too many plants growing with thorns.
Interesting to see how they build it’s going to look great 🤩 You sure had a surprise coming in the afternoon and seeing all the progress 😳 I am wondering the water pipe is not install deeper than that ? Here in Quebec they put them around 4 ft deep so they don’t freeze. Yes like Bill said a timelapse would’ve been great to see so maybe when they do the outside walls finish 😉👍
