Wow nice work.........Evan. Just kidding Jason. Great video. Wasn't aware of the specifics of the stone under permeable pavers. Sure great not to have to worry about drainage in that area. Love your on-camera personality. Keep it up.
WOW! Great video - really enjoyed.. b/c was combo of hiring experts (Evan + Colin) plus DIY dynamics too.. making the whole thing a 'how to' tutorial!! Go Team Jason!👊
I missed when you added the live water fall feature - THAT is really cool and completes the whole look. Now I'm going to have to try and find the upload where you did that... lol.
Looks great! Personally not a fan of permeable paving on walkways. I think it has a good use for parkinglots. But every jobsite where they use permeable walkways, it gets full of weeds and slippery organic material.
Lol, I'm going to do what I wish someone had done for me my first 20yrs of life... It's wheelbarrow. I agree, wheelbarrel makes more logical sense; it's a barrel with a wheel.
Funny as you lifted that 10 pound rock - side fact, over here in Switzerland we have a couple guys who throw a 83.5 Kilogram rock on traditional sports events, the record is currently at 4.11 meters (4.5 yards) 😃
Dang, that thing looks really great. You going to do anything with the existing concrete pad at the door? Maybe add some tile so it doesn't look like plain concrete next to those beautiful new pavers? Maybe do a sawcut pattern and dye it to the same gray as the pavers?
Looks incredible, Evan is clearly a master at his craft. One question, I noticed a dimple mat against the house, was that already there or did you have that added? I might have missed it in one of the videos as well.
You make my Saturday mornings. Even laying pavers, your clothes stay clean and well pressed. By the way, could you recommend a good bourbon? Just slip it in to one of your upcoming excellent videos?
Wow, that looks SO much nicer than the wooden decking, and it will be require next to no maintenance. Great choice. Could pavers like that work for the actual driveway, or would you have to do a lot more reinforcing for that? We'd like to have a permeable surface driveway and haven't yet started doing the research for it, but those pavers would look fantastic!
I particularly enjoyed watching one accomplished craftsman being the helping hand to, AND himself enjoying to watch another accomplished craftsman 👍👍👍. ...but your result is not wheel chair friendly.... I notice, because I have a daughter who is a wheel chair user. Looking good anyways. 👍👍
the house exterior looks great.. but you totally should of done a combat roll on the floor as is table/bench be darned my kid loves watching your intros cause of how silly you get and to hear a 6yo giggle is worth it.
Dude, that really looks nice, sturdy and clean. The whole combo!!
Wow! Evan's the guy. A big job for one man ( and a helper).
Your timing is impeccable. I have to lay some pavers this weekend. Thanks for the help.
He didn't help you
Cool project. Huge improvement to your 2nd home. Really enjoyed this one. Kudos to the great folks who helped you out.
The stonework looks great and the slate gray paint on the house looks very nice compared to the previous band-aid brown.
My Gosh! That really turned out gorgeous. Looks like a ton off work, even though you sped it up, but wow, really nice! I love the colors.
The proper name for people who pour concrete is "concrestadors'
I thought they were concreteurs.
I wasn't expecting a random youtube comment to make me cry laugh first thing in the morning 😂😂😂, thanks for that. Lol
😂😂😂
That was concrete answer. (also, you beat me to the punch) :)
I kept thinking concretians lol
Concrete’stadors is what they’re actually called. It’s a sign of respect.
That looks really, really good in that space!
Hi Jason,
You did a great job there.
Greetings from Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany
Werner
Quality help, primo materials, great design = a WOW, that is 👍
I received my bourbon blade yesterday, very happy with the quality, very sharp
Thanks !
Flipping sweet look for the cabin, Jason! Thanks, Evan, for helping making it happen!
Love the Forest Gump reference!
Wow!! looks amazing what a transformation 👏
Fair to say Evan is the, “Bourbon Moth of Rocks”.
I got my bourbon blade and it is fantastic! I showed it off to all my woodworking buddies and they were jealous lol.
Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing the video about how it’s done.
Its nice when there is a method to the madness. Wonderful job on the pavers. :]
keep patreoning dude, you can have a fleet in no time
Wow nice work.........Evan. Just kidding Jason. Great video. Wasn't aware of the specifics of the stone under permeable pavers. Sure great not to have to worry about drainage in that area. Love your on-camera personality. Keep it up.
When you take the time to prep, the finished project will be awesome.
That turned out amazing great job Jason love that color on the house
Love the house colour!
That looks fantastic bub. Yall did a great job. You know Evan did anyways.
WOW! Great video - really enjoyed.. b/c was combo of hiring experts (Evan + Colin) plus DIY dynamics too.. making the whole thing a 'how to' tutorial!! Go Team Jason!👊
It's a lot of work, but it's hard to beat the look of pavers. Looks great!
Would suggest using a fine sand for locking the pavers in. In MZ we use pave lock which also has cement in it.
That’s what’s normally used in my area too, but wouldn’t that hinder the drainage?
GFRC = Gold Fish Reinforced Concrete?! I learned something today.
That conveyor belt truck bed is genius.
Oh! I thought it was a remote excavator! Lol! Thanks for clarifying. 😊
Gday Jason, Pete here from Australia, love your work. Just received my Bourbon Moth blade and it is great. Cheers
I've had the same brush for 51 years, it's had 20 new heads and 13 handles.
I’m using western interlock on my next big project. Thanks for the tip
I missed when you added the live water fall feature - THAT is really cool and completes the whole look. Now I'm going to have to try and find the upload where you did that... lol.
What’s up Jason, fellow woodworker your work is awesome
And your I find my self dying laughing at your comical side! Hilarious
This was a fantastic video to watch. Thank you so much for making the great content that you do!
Looks awesome! And, way to go on expanding your skillset!!
Looks great, nice job
Man, that looks awesome
Looks great! Personally not a fan of permeable paving on walkways. I think it has a good use for parkinglots. But every jobsite where they use permeable walkways, it gets full of weeds and slippery organic material.
The stone pavers look awesome!!
That looks so much better. Very good job.
very nice! Great job, Evan, Craig, ...oh and I guess Jason, too.
That looks amazing
Night and day difference! 😊
Wow, that looks awesome.
Evan does good work!
I learned so much from this video
That came out great. At first I was like, don't cut the edge of the papers, but the results were fantastic
I had an IQ saw, they are incredible
Gorgeous! (The walkway, I mean.)
Greetings from England. WTF is a “wheel barrel “
I promise some of us on this side of the pond know it's called a wheel barrow..
Looks great!
THAT was satisfying!
Do you say wheel barrel ?
😂
Lol, I'm going to do what I wish someone had done for me my first 20yrs of life... It's wheelbarrow. I agree, wheelbarrel makes more logical sense; it's a barrel with a wheel.
I came here to ask the same 😂
I think he goes back and forth between barrel and barrow, to keep us on our toes.
Pavers look amazing and thanks for sharing the process. Question on the house paint. What color did you go with - looks awesome!
nice work! i learned a few things too
This looks awesome!!
Really nice work 👍
Looks amazing!
❤ the Forrest Gump reference!
18:28 little tip for Evan. Hold the glue bottle under hot water tap for a minute and the glue will come out with hardly any effort.
I like the new color.
Love the new look of the front of the house. Paint, pavers and boulders really up he 'curb appeal' of the house. (not that you have a curb) ;)
Awesome work!
Funny as you lifted that 10 pound rock - side fact, over here in Switzerland we have a couple guys who throw a 83.5 Kilogram rock on traditional sports events, the record is currently at 4.11 meters (4.5 yards) 😃
An honest question... Aren't you worried about rotting out the shingles that are in direct, or very close, contact with the pavers from rain or snow?
Looks awesome.
Huge improvement! I'm laying out my new front porch using Rumble Stone pavers, just a little project... you're an inspiration!
“Tell people the plan” is an understatement. 😅
I dig the color of the house, way better than the orange-creamsicle 1970s Oregon pimp suit color
He'll yes I was impressed, for 2 seconds anyway!
Looks so good 👌🏻
Jason will really do anything to avoid sanding, including stonework.
Looks great! With this property being a rental, does it need to be ADA compliant? That step may be an issue, no?
I was wondering the same thing. Definitely not accessible with the step.
It's a wheelbarrow 😂 Good job with the pavers. Much better using interlocking tabs for drainage. I prefer silica sand between my pavers.
Dang, that thing looks really great.
You going to do anything with the existing concrete pad at the door? Maybe add some tile so it doesn't look like plain concrete next to those beautiful new pavers? Maybe do a sawcut pattern and dye it to the same gray as the pavers?
I do believe i saw a new table saw there lol
What color did you use for the house? It’s perfection!!!
Looks incredible, Evan is clearly a master at his craft. One question, I noticed a dimple mat against the house, was that already there or did you have that added? I might have missed it in one of the videos as well.
enjoyed the Forest Gump story
You make my Saturday mornings. Even laying pavers, your clothes stay clean and well pressed. By the way, could you recommend a good bourbon? Just slip it in to one of your upcoming excellent videos?
I see the powermatic stuff came in
Nice truck! You will not regret the purchase the next time you're pulling the camper on a windy day.
Wow. So very very very nice
Its not no maintenance. These things fill wifh weeds and moss.
@@evictioncarpentry2628 Right.
Nice to see you got rid of the peepee truck and got a useful one.
Would you mind sharing a cost breakdown for this project? Looks great, curious about the cost though.
Hi I really liked this Vlog - going to copy you for small area here.
Just interested what town are you near? The air looks great in Oregon
Beautiful
The pavers look awesome! Is this going to be a Vrbo?
The blower is to make sure a loose rock doesn't get under the roller compacter and create pressure and crack your nice new paver.
Hey Jason - question - does it get below freezing there? And if so, wouldn't the ice explode those pavers?
hope you used exterior concrete,( added air entrainment), for the freeze/thaw effect
I call those little Bobcats Bobkitties.
Very nice❤
The S jobs are delegated to poor Craig. Sweeping, sanding lol Was that an old water level? Very accurate
the house exterior looks great.. but you totally should of done a combat roll on the floor as is table/bench be darned my kid loves watching your intros cause of how silly you get and to hear a 6yo giggle is worth it.
Paver party 😮
