When I was about the foreman's age in the late 80s, my dad replaced our houses 2 toilets with the new "low flow" models. He wasn't sure if the garbage men would pick up 2 toilets on the side of the road, so he looked at me and asked, "Do you want to smash these to pieces with the sledge hammer?". The answer was of course "YES!". So we flattened out the boxes the toilets came in and went to town smashing them to tiny pieces that we could then put in a can for them to haul away. I haven't thought of that in a looong time but watching the foreman demo that wall brought that memory back.

Well as Winston once said "Perfection is the enemy of progress" so I would define what/why you are changing your shop, I see your primary product as Videos. So my first steps would be to think of this space as a video studio. So first for me would be lighting which thanks to LED lighting heat generated by reaching levels high enough to achieve light levels needed to achieve professional results and film at speeds and depth of fields while producing even high intensity shadow free lighting necessary for quality video production, next would be positioning of props(equipment) allowing for best angles for filming, I would continue along these lines of not trying for woodworking efficiency but rather an area that makes story telling using videos as the main focus and not production of finished projects. In this manner you will end up with firstly the best you can design video studio that focuses on video first and useability while being taken into account is secondary. Like horsepower, for filming there is never too much lighting or too many useable filming angles and it's always far easier to dim or move a camera rather than having shadows or not getting the best shots for what you are filming. Ray

I thought your ‘shop was big before, but you will have enough space for that sliding table saw now too. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like enough head space for a golf simulator.
And I could hear Jackman’s heart break from here.

Hi Jason. I look forward to your videos as I like them very much and I get a lot of great ideas from you. Thank you for that. Would you mind giving the wall to wall dimensions of your shop. I moved to Thailand and ended up with a decent sized shop. Seeing how you will organize yours would help me a lot. Thank you.

Build a stage put in a bunch of picnic tables, and turn it into a German beer garden.

I totally wish I could empty out my shop like this and start over. I've been in it for about 5 1/2 years now. It started out completely different. And as I've added new tools and things... the layout has become kinda crazy. I keep saying that I'll just rent a storage container... empty everything.... and then start over. But that hasn't happened yet. Maybe one day I will.

When you said mega shop, didn’t know you meant mega junk shop. 😊 looks like my garage after I’ve cleaned it up.

I have an idea for the flooring for the new shop. Epoxy terrazzo. You could do white and put a bourbon moth logo in the middle of the shop. Would look really good

I'm imaging myself having to have those "sagging" worktables. It would really bring down the aesthetics of my shop (sarcasm in case you missed it).

it still amazes me that there are some people who dont realize just how much nicer is it to have insulation in your interior walls. sound proofing your rooms make a huge difference! especially if youre at your girlfriends house while her parents are there too! cant hear their daughter nagging at you!

How's that for gratitude for each of the million viewers that make him money with every click? Chuck that plaque away. Make them pay for "winning" a screen printer. Classy.

When you said you liked cleaning, I was almost expecting to hear the "sweeping in my socks" song next. That new space looks gigantic, now that everything's opened up. Btw, is there a story behind the "Oh, little rabbit"?
