Just like you, I don't usually use touchscreen on traditional computer but that's the only option to go about if we require higher than the default 250nits display. So excited for it.
I have the 5850 version from last year but w/o the touch screen option. I topped it off with 64GB RAM and now, it rips. Only regret I have is lack of QHD screen, 500 nits, touchscreen option, and NVIDIA GPU. Use it for dev with Linux, PowerShell, AWS, etc.
How long did it take to arrive? I ordered one today, it's not custom so I plan on upgrading the ram when I get it to either 16 or 32gb of RAM (though going to 16 is no issue because I have two 8gb sticks, it'll just run at 2866
@@ZipTieNinja You are RIGHT! T15 series does have a model that have all the specs I wanted but cost is more than L15+X13! Much cheaper to get Legion 5 Pro (but no touchscreen).
Wireless network should be listed under the globe near the clock. If it shuts off when you unplug it the battery is likely dead, And would require replacement

I got the 5850u 2021 version last year on sale for under $1K...then upgraded the RAM to 64GB. Will upgrade the SSD later.

@@samgray49 in my case it took 3 weeks, shipped from their factory in China to Malaysia. Given that yours aren't custom, should be 1-2 weeks top IMO.
Touch screen definitely helps! Wished the had QHD option along with NVIDIA GPU and also, 500 nits option
Those are likely options on the P and T-Series

How is the backlight bleed on the touch display model? I had to return an L15 with the non-touch IPS FHD display because it was really bad.
how about the battey life ? more than 8 hour ?
How do I connect to the internet or Wi-Fi without the Ethernet? Also, whenever I unplug my laptop it shuts off, is it supposed to do that?
