I'm from the U.S. and any time I play this I almost always get a server full of people to play on. I guess there's not a lot of Star Wars fans in Australia 😂.

It’s because the Australian servers aren’t as big as the us. I play in australia and get the same problem of there being no servers.
I’ve been playing the game a ton recently, but only co-op. Not because I knew how bad galactic assault has become in terms of player count, but so I could quickly max out the troopers and a handful of heroes to prepare for PvP. But seeing that those servers are indeed empty is just really sad.
I play a couple times a week and its not like this at all, pretty much only at like 4am

I got into battlefront 2 after watching The Obi-Wan series. I haven’t stopped since lol. I use to play the old battlefront 2 back in the day so I always had a thing for this game. I started this game late but I honestly love it. It’s not too complex but I just love using all the heroes and villains. And once you get good at using some of those characters, this game hits different haha

This is the better Battlefront 2 than the classic. Classic heroes mechanisms suck ass against other heroes and villains. Played it for the first time during Christmas and I was stunned how overrated that game is. It’s mechanics are just way too ass.

I have good memories of the droideka. Our team losing and a group of us came whizzing in, deployed right in front of a tunnel. Shielded. And unleashed hell. And we did it all at once. It looked so cool.
I love the Destroyers and Super Battle Droids.
This game will never die.. only if a new better Battlefront comes out.

Europe servers are actually pretty fine, even some of the obscure game modes has players still active
I‘m still playing on PC and it is and probably will stay a huge lot of fun. What makes this game so great is the duelling system, the huge trooper modes but mainly that everything is just perfect star wars + the graphics and sound design are also great!!
If only we had Utapau and Mygeeto maps

@@albusnightspring8057 There's a Mygeeto map mod in Nexus, it's really good and the closest you'll get. It adds the Mygeeto map to Supremacy and Missions. It also adds the 21st Nova Corps skin for the clone troopers.
The reason it was loading really slow is because you searched for three different Star Wars timelines and modes so it takes a while for it to load and for players to load so if you just searched for 1 mod it would be pretty fast 👌

So glad battlefront content is back! Also heroes vs villains servers seem to be the most active in my experience, at least in the US
BF2 is nowhere near as dead in the US as it is in Australia, which is where he’s at.

Jeez.. I remember playing this game years ago. I used to play the PS3 BF2 with the starships docking with other ships. The great graphics and the constant playerbase really upped my childhood that grew from Star Wars.
When I got my PS4 and heard that BF2 was coming out I was begging my parents for Christmas. Good old days
I recently uninstalled battlefront 2 after like 400 hrs, loved battlefront 2. Wish dice never stopped working on it.

Funny thing dude, I jump on regularly at around 4PM MST every day and the following lobbies are usually full: Supremacy (Do play any otherwise you'll have less chance,) Galactic Assault, Starfighterfighter Assault. If you join HVV or Hero Showdown the dueling community is alive and well. People are usually respectful of 1v1s 99% of the time and we all have a blast because everyone knows everyone now.
I remember watching your let’s plays with warlock and such all the time when you weren’t just a news channel. Glad your back to playing these let’s plays.

In the US there are still a bunch of people playing. Getting in a full game takes like 5 minutes at most

Last time I played Battlefront 2, someone decided to hack and bring everyone down to 1 health and made everyone invincible

I got Battlefront this year and the only modes I can play are co-op, sometimes Ewok Hunt, and I've only ever played one round of galactic assault!! People... GET THE HELL BACK ON BATTLEFRONT WE NEED YOU NOW!!!!

I’ve been playing this game on ps4 for a solid 2 years now , never had a problem finding any lobbies . HVV is where it’s at
I remember playing this and going to that Solo map, I think it was Kessel and using Luke's force push to push my brother off the edge.
I’ve been playing since the beta and have both Rey and Kylos pre order skins, the game on Xbox is actually still very much alive in the U.S. for any of the major game modes. CS, GA, Blast/strike and HvV/HS times to find game modes are only around a couple seconds during peak times and at most a minute during any time of day. For anyone on Xbox not in the U.S. if you go to settings in game and change the ping site, you can search for matches over here if you are ever having trouble finding a game!
It’s crazy how he only got into a match halfway through the video but I still watched the whole thing, that’s how entertaining bombastic is
The only thing different about this game in the last two years, is that the developers fixed the eternal life at 1hp glitch.
Also if you want to find the big matches, you want to do it on Friday. When everything is half the battlepoints cost.
This has never been my experience. Me and the boys have never had any problem hopping on for some supremacy every now and then. (I'm on ps4)

Finally someone remembers Battlefront 2, it's been a bit less than a year and I haven't played it in that long. I think I finally decided to end it when I realized it was just Co-Op that was still alive. But it's good to see some people still play it at all.

To quite honest with you I would love to play this Star wars battlefront 2 just to play to have fun, that's if there's no tryhards involved because they just take all the fun out of it and the it's no fun anymore
I'm in Oz too. I'm on PS4. I always play co-op on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. There's plenty of games.
I usually find games pretty easy, it’s probably Australian servers where no one plays

To be fair, poor attendance on the servers is a problem in Australia, but not her in the U.S. I'm on every night and there's no wait time and lobby fills up instantly, ever game. Doesn't slow down until after midnight because people are going to sleep. The game really is great and that's why.

I just bought STBF2 a week ago on PS5 and I find lobbies in every category very quickly and reliably still. You make it seem like it's a pain to get into a lobby but it's really not

From what I’d imagine, it’s less of a fact that no one is playing the game and more that the servers were left so badly organised and it’s only gotten worse since the updates stopped. EA SERIOUSLY need to let Dice work on the game, even if it’s no content and just fix a few issues or some quality-of-life stuff, even for just one update over a month. I highly doubt that will happen but it’s still so annoying. Let’s hope the battlefront franchise doesn’t stay dead forever 🙏
I Nearly play Battlefront II, only Co-Ops Mission have people. If Multiplayer 40 people only sometimes get in. Same as Heroes vs Villains. It's great game !!

I still load up supremacy semi-regularly and I enjoy it almost every time as long as I get a balanced server. The big battles are tons of fun and can be very cinematic. I think I enjoy the original trilogy the most though.
You should try the default servers because they are pretty dang active. Keep up the awesome work Andrew!
Co-op is the way to go. I only play co-op and heros vs villians now. Mainly because it's the only modes people play but also because I just want to game as my favorite star wars characters and just relax without dealing with getting slaughtered by online players lol

Most people now only play co-op because it's easier to find games, and usually more fun.
Played it last night , got my arse kicked about 40 times in a row , deleted the game , I’m not terrible at these kind of games but these guys are ruthless , I had no chance
I'm surprised how co-op is so popular to this day. It is probably because you can get a hero and villain for much longer.
I still play this game on PC, hackers are so rare it's only funny whenever I find them, I might record them sometime for my channel but I just play casually until I unlock the Kenobi and Maul voice lines
The 4 biggest modes on this game are starfighter assault, coop, HVV and Galactic Assault.
I play on PS4, and I rarely have difficulty trying to find matches. Maybe it's just because nobody wants to play with Bombastic.
I play on the the old Xbox and the servers are still pretty active. Like yeah you'll find lobbies waiting for 18 people every now and then but rarely. Most often there will be like 6 people required but it gets filled up in like a minute
Co Op in king in this game, everyone loved the movie scenario.
You will only find Supremacy matches for the Republic Era. And also Galatic assault is always alive. But that's just me I'm on Xbox and I play with a milsim so the fun is still around.

Me personally I was a little bit disappointed with the battlefront 2 DLC's I was really looking forward to see if they would add Mace windu and Qui-Gon-jinn so I can reenact the Phantom menace
battlefront 2 is sadly suffering the same fate as Titanfall 2 right now, hopefully they both get fixed
Matchmaking was always really fast for me on PC. There were those empty lobbies, but games were still easy to find for all the main modes (Supremacy and Galactic Assault and Co-Op are really easy, Blast is less easy but still easy, Strike/Extraction and Ewok Hunt are in the middle, and Starfighter Assault is really easy or really hard depending on the time of day). Granted I haven't played since 2021, and didn't play much then, but in 2020 it was like how I described, and I still see lots of community events that get filled up.
I am from the USA and I usually only have to wait for like a minute or two when I play and I always find a full supremacy lobby. So maybe the reason you can’t find a match is because you aren’t playing when the USA people are playing.
I've been playing a lot on Xbox 1 recently and have had absolutely no trouble whatsoever with queue times. I can usually get galactic assault or supremecy in 30 seconds to a minute and even something like ewok hunt in no more than two minutes. I haven't tried blast, hero showdown, strike, or any starfighter modes though.
I also play on Xbox One. I play a few times a week and have no problem getting any game mode I'm feeling. A few minutes wait here and there but still very much alive.

I actually still play Star Wars: Battlefront 2, but only the single player campaign (don't like multiplayer and online games). I know the story is kinda 'short', but I love every moment of it...
Co-op is fun to jump into to chill and level classes and unlock weapon parts.

North American service aren't too bad. Usually can find a game in a couple of seconds on the more popular modes like Galactica Assault, HVV, Supremacy, Ewok Hunt, and Co-op.
I can take a little longer to jump into a game in the early hours on a weekday versus the weekend where it's pretty quick that not much trouble if at all.
