Today video is going to take a look at the villains we want to see in unannouced Matt Reeve's The Batman sequel. The Dark knight as a tremenous rouges gallery, and there are so many great villains that could be introduced into this universe. Today's video covers the characters as well as the actors we would like to see tango with The Batman. Развлечения

Proffessor Pyg played by Anthony Hobkins
Deathstroke/ Talon played by Scot Adkins (Who had auditioned for THE BATMAN first)
Would also like to see Azreal, Phantasm, Solomon Grundy & Scarface
I would love to see Matt Reeves' take on Scarecrow. That opening with the riddler in the movie was terrifying, so he could definitely pull off the horror aspect of someone like Scarecrow incredibly well.
agreed. it would also be a very good opportunity to show some awesome visuals
@@shatteredakuma always lovea good trippy sequence
Maybe Matt will change up his games a little considering the first movie is all about the psychological battle so maybe the second one can be about a villain who can challenge the Batman physically
@@gaminganimators7000 I think something similar to the mysterio scene from spiderman far from home would be so sick. Just scarier obviously
I'd love to see his version of scarecrow too...n croc
For me, I want the villain for the sequel to be Scarecrow, with Joker being a sort of Hannibal Lector role, Batman asking him with help to find Scarecrow
No way the joker won’t help him also it would be too played out we already saw that in the deleted seen.
Bad idea.
@@calebtheowl1516 Why do you say that?
Or scarecrow makes a cameo in arkham as a doctor in the sequel then he makes a major appearance in the arkham series and be friends joker and the riddler later on
Lol you guys don't get burnt out on the joker? Batman has the greatest rogue gallery, and you're stuck on one character 🤣
The Fact that the Joker was teased during the end and was laughing along side an already insane riddler gave me chills, but to be honest this riddler gave me some Joker vibes so him being with the actual Joker would honestly be a nightmare especially considering the Riddler alone caused Gotham to have a crisis Imagine Joker into the mix
Idk how they do joker without going R since the riddler was basically a serial killer lol.
Imagine they adapt the three jokers concept. The clown, the criminal, the comedian, with riddler and joker representing two, and then Joaquin Phoenix (who some how got pushed into acid) representing the third
I love the dark, gritty, “Se7en” style cinematography this Batman is going with. To keep the disturbing realism of it, I think 3 villains would be perfect for it. The Mad Hatter, Professor Pyg, and The Ventriloquist Arnold Wesker/Scarface. All dealing with realistic world issues; Mind altering hallucinogenics, psychopathy, and multiple personality disorder.
Black mask would also be a pretty good villain
@@theunholycrusader517 Black Mask would be great for a mobster-like movie
Honestly, if we go the trilogy route, they would be good for a 2nd movie, with hints to the Court of Owls being dropped throughout the movie as well. Then, perhaps as a truly grand finale, we could get the Court of Owls, and then possibly have them set the Joker and Riddler loose on Gotham to tear Wayne down.
Maybe hush as like a side villain
Scarecrow and Freeze would be a great combo for the sequel.
Scarecrow - A villain that would outmatch Batman in the fear department while being impossible to empathize with.
Mr. Freeze - A villain that Batman would empathize with and so wouldn’t want to terrorize. Having to stop him through other means.
For novelty’s sake throw someone like Ventriloquist or Mad Hatter in a minor role but having a connection with the mystery of the main plot.
Penguin could either be related with Freeze’s incident or benefit from Ferris Boyle being arrested by Batman. Giving him an air of untouchable mastermind who wins no matter the situation.
I could see Freeze only working with Scarecrow just to save his wife, and in my mind it would play into a good theme for the sequel of "the city is far to corrupt for Batman too save", In Freeze's case he's a good man turned bad because of the corruption, and for scarecrow he would be just a man that want's to perpetuate the corruption, drunk on his mastery of fear.
@@arinloche858 I was thinking more of them being each a separate threat. But thinking for that angle… It’d be great if instead of working together as equals Scarecrow had a role into manipulating Freeze’s fears and having a hand on the accident that created him.
I don’t think doing two different villains is a good idea you don’t want the film to try and do too much and have it fall flat, kinda like an amazing spider man 2 scenario
@@Lightspeedloser_ I see where you’re coming from. But the first movie had 3 villains and a half and they made it work.
@@Lightspeedloser_ I see where you’re coming from. But the first movie had 3 villains and a half and they made it work.
I would absolutely LOVE to see the Reeves version of Scarecrow and Twoface. They're PERFECT for this universe. Unpopular opinion, but they were my favorite parts of the Nolan trilogy and I'm itching to see more of them on the big screen with a larger focus. Not as side villains but as the MAIN villains.
They said officially they're thinking of making Mr Freeze the next antagonist right? If he's more like the Arkham City version, that could probably work. That's the only time I've seen him genuinely intimidating. They'd have to get one hell of an actor for him, older and articulate. (Good points on Batman sympathizing with him and the healthcare discourse it could tap into.)
Idk about anyone else, but for some reason Poison Ivy keeps coming to my mind. She can give off a genuine creepiness like in the Arkham games, and possibly even her trying to seduce Bruce might work. I think they would be able to pull her off if she's just a little more grounded, no giant plant monsters or anything lol. I can easily envision a scene of all her vines snaking in a dark room to restrain Batman. It'd be pretty intimidating.
Clayface too I actually think could work if he's not a big monster, but just a shapshifting guy with clay skin stealing peoples' identities. That would work great with the detective focus. Same for Mad Hatter!!
yeah never thought clayface would be a good on screen villain but this guy has a point, also if they handle it more like a horror movie something like john carpenter's 'the thing', it would be spectacular and also love to see two face in this universe nikolaj coster-waldau or jon hamm would be nice
I really like that but i think for this universe Poison Ivy's thing should revolve more around manipulation of toxins rather than proper controlling plants
I think Two Face would be phenomenal for the 3rd movie imo. Due to Riddler, there is a, uhhh, opening at DA now... I'd like to see a full Harvey Dent movie. maybe Scarecrow or Mr. Freeze scars half of Harvey's face at the very end? or Harvey does it to himself?
I can imagine a clayface movie similar to The Thing or The Hidden
For Mr Freeze I think that Giancarlo Esposito, Jason Isaacs or Ralph Fiennes would be better choices. Christoph Waltz would be great for Hugo Strange, though.
Giancarlo Esposito is such a great choice! Definetly didn't think of that one. Although Ralph Fiennes would be a much more accurate choice
All of these are actually pretty great choices for Mr. Freeze. Personally, I'd love Bryan Cranston as Fries
Enough with the race swaps! Get Mark Strong for Freeze and Espacito for Lucius Fox.
@@sup3414 Duuude Mark Strong that's a genius choice for Freeze!
@@sup3414 quit being a snowflake
Imo, the one and ONLY villain for the end film is Scarecrow. The fear tactic would be amazing between him and Pattinson, and we could finally see Batman become that mythical creature Gotham sees him as. Make Pattinson scared. Bury him alive like they did in comics. Make him seem vulnerable. And finally, close the series off with the Court of Owls. It'd be perfect.
Honestly I think the next movie should be scarecrow or Mr freeze with hints about the court of owls leading into the 3rd movie where they are the main antagonist
Villains I would like to see in future Batman movies are Man-Bat, Clayface, Two-face, Bane, Ivy, Croc, Hush, Mad Hatter, Court of Owls and Talon, Calculator, The Key, Cluemaster, Doctor Death, Pyg.
not deadshot, black mask?
@@WolfiesGaming no
@@parklez3250 why not will fit the realism that matt reeves is going for
Thats all of em
I was amazed by how good the movie was and how Pattinson did a great job actually not only him but everyone were really good 👍👏
Pattinson is a great actor, we can't hold Twilight against him forever.🙂
Yes
I personally think that the court of owls should be built up and made the villain of the 3rd movie in the trilogy. They were eluded to in the batman with the founding families of Gotham being mentioned, and in the animated movie Batman vs Robin, Bruce became romantically involved with a member of the court of Owls without knowing it. You could introduce a romantic interest or someone who is perceived as an ally to Bruce in the 2nd movie, with them even helping Bruce take down the big bad of the 2nd movie because they also didn't align with what the court has planed for Gotham and The Batman. I just personally feel like the court would be a much better villain if they were built up as a looming threat that's always watching Batman from afar.
I really want Scarecrow to be the Next Main villain! It would fit to the story and Scarecrow has the potential to become one of the most scariest villains because he was scary in Arkham.
They need to make Scarecrow the main villain.
I loved how much focus was put on Pattinson as a detective, so I definitely lean towards any of the more intellectual villains like Mad Hatter or even Scarecrow. A more physical challenge like Clay face, I'm interested in but less so.
Clayface could definitely work for the detective aspect, with him impersonating prestigious figures and framing others for his crimes
I think professor Pyg would be perfect for this universe, we've never seen him before in live action and he tops riddler's crazy. Professor Pyg is perfect for a very dark possibly rated R Batman
To be honest I want to see new villains that haven't made into the big screen because I don't want to see joker , bane, Mr freeze and two-face, but I really want to see the Court of owls or hush or professor pig and strange in the next Batman movie and I want to see joker in the last Batman movie because he's been used so many times and I think it's better to him in the 4th or 5th movie
True but I think joker is used to so mis because he’s the most known villain of batman at least i think so don’t know a whole lot about comics
i think it’s fine if it’s someone like mr freeze or riddler bc the movies that featured them are very old (and aren’t particularly great) so it doesn’t feel like another shot at the villain
Why does nobody ever talk about deathstroke hes honestly my favorite villain next to joker hes so fuckin underrated and needs a movie i mean he is one of the hardest to beat villains batman has had so it would be a perfect battle
@@SWdoughboy313_55 he's not really a villain or a hero he just do he's own thing in the comics because sometimes he's a anti hero or just hired to kill someone for money
@@SWdoughboy313_55 yeah I don't see him carrying a whole movie as the villain but maybe a supporting anti hero character
Firefly, Professor Pig, Scarecrow, and Deadshot would be mine. I would mostly say Firefly or Professor Pig though. I can see Firefly being part of the movie setting important buildings in Gotham ablaze and Batman has to figure out who the serial Arsonist is. And when it comes down to Professor Pig they can do what the Arkham games did and have bodies spread around the city and Batman has to identify them and fight the Dolltrons Pig creates.
Firefly is very unlikely since we're getting him in the Batgirl film
fr deadshot fight scenes would be godly
I don't know if they could do pyg in PG-13. Joker, scarecrow and riddler are all nuts but he is the embodiment of crazy. Look up pyg in Arkham knight, and look at the stuff he does in the operating room
With Gotham City being flooded at the end of the film, the door is open to have an unknown creature lurking in the waters and eating people and the city being in fear to go out at night. Then reveal it to be Killer Croc, Mr Freeze could also work with Gotham being flooded and him trying to freeze the water causing problems with the sewer water and how that can conflict with Crocs motives to eat people
I hope to see a villain we really haven't seen like Hush or Mad Hatter. I think these 2 would make for a good detective story in their own right. Though it could be interesting if they tease the Court of Owls similar to how Thanos was teased
For me, I have some main ideas to focus on in which a The Batman sequel could best utilize. One, the idea of justice vs vengeance was a big underlayer that affected a lot of characters in their journeys, so I would want a villain who can really challenge or enhance those themes. Two, the neo-gothic aesthetic that this movie gave with their interpretation of Gotham City really helped solidify the heroes and villains alike in their identities. So I'd say that some characters would be better suited to stand out or blend in with the 2022 Gotham than others. And finally I'd say that I want a more physical threat for Batman while maintaining the detective aspect in some shape or form, my main issue with Riddler is how we never get a true confrontation between Batman and Riddler since the latter was found and arrested by the GCPD.
Villans i want to see in the batverse
Calendar man
Killer moth
Lock up
Hugo strange
The ventriloquist
Black mask
Glad you came back i been waiting on you guys review
if they go court of owls. i hope they intertwine some villains like killer croc or ivy who may not pose as big a threat but are still a battle as symbolic “talons” before batman realizes theyre mere distractions of s bigger plot. thatd be cool
I love the anology, but the thing that interested me the most was the ad and the way you delivered it
i usually never get impressed by ads but this one was really speaking my situation with repetitive meals due to lack of time or being tired, so this was spot on
I really couldn’t see Adam Driver as Scarecrow. In this universe I think Scarecrow could work really well though. I would also like to see Harvey Dent/Two Face and Roman Sionis/Black Mask in sequels. I could see Jon Hamm as Two Face and Jon Bernthal as Black Mask
well, the DA dies in the movie so we'll probably see Harvey Dent. maybe his transformation as well (although I really hope it'll happen later. I want to see Bat, Dent and Gordon working together and how Batman starts to trust people). Hush was kinda hinted as as well, but the same goes for him - he needs a rogue gallery build up first
after the Roman's death, there will probably be new gangsters: obviously Penguin, but maybe Black Mask or Ventriloquist will make an appearance as well
Zsasz and Croc (made into more human-like form) both would make a great addition to the movie
Professor Pyg and Mad Hatter would be cool as well. maybe they'd tie in that arkham series we keep hearing about
but the main villain? I would go with Hugo Strange. that's what this Batman needs - an adversary who can read him luke an open book and manipulate other villains
I just have to say as an Irish man I’m extremely impressed you are the first person I’ve heard pronounce Barry keoghans name correctly so respect also great video
Why does everyone want Court of Owls now? I personally think that a version of the stroyline would work better if Batman was more seasoned with the Bat Family being established for a while. The whole point of how scary they were was because Batman became somewhat complacent that he had managing Gotham's crime under control.
I guess I just want them to build this universe up oganically. I'm enjoying seeing a young Batman figure things out. I vote for your Clayface idea. I reckon Bruce being imitated and dealing with that will be the genesis for him developing his Bruce Wayne persona.
I would love to see Matt Reeves's take on The Spectre, Scarecrow, Mr Freeze, The Court of Owls with.
Matt Reeves would make scarecrow look amazing and I think he would fit the aesthetic and story so well
If they did go with Court of Owls as the core villain, they could again bring in a handful of secondary villains that are at least influenced by the court as part of the overarcing mystery.
Killer Croc would be a fun bit of muscle. Not up on my WWE/AEW but I'm sure we could find a decent wrestler for that role.
Man-Bat as a Court asset that is trying to do research for them might be interesting.
And last one I'm thinking of is Firefly as just a general threat. Basically a mid-boss before the final showdown.
i haven’t finished the video yet so you might mention him, but i’d love to see a black mask film and maybe linking deadshot, i can just imagine the fight sequences between batman and deadshot would be so crazy to watch
I would like to see Eraser, Orca, Zodiac master, Kite man, Calendar man, Ratcatcher [comic], Killer moth, Man bat, Calculator, Scarface, Polka dot man, King tut. idk i just think it would be cool, or them in tv show.
My bet for the next film is Hush (clear setup in the current film) + Court of Owls (same wishful thinking as you, bro). Also introducing "Victor" who then in the third film becomes Mr Freeze.
I want Mr. Freeze and Scarecrow as villians in the next movie. I actually have an idea for a spin on Freeze and his whole freeze thing. Where he injects people with a chemical thats freezes their blood and kills them. I think that could make for some pretty creepy visuals.
And maybe Scarecrow couldhave these blades like on a scythe and use them as kinda swords, which could probably lead to some cool fight scenes with Batman, all while still using the fear toxin. What do you think?
I'd honestly like to see a couple different things at some point in a live action Batman, but most of all find a way to keep it in terms of detective Batman moving towards the caped crusader...
It'd be cool to see the Court of Owls, or Ras and his forces, but I think they've been done too recently with the Dark Knight Trilogy and the Gotham series. If Moon Knight and other upcoming darker Marvel properties do well they might do a trippy Scarecrow, and Ivy would be cool to pair with him in a movie for many good reasons. From their childhood abuse, to her possibly supplying chemicals to him, to her protecting the planet while he protects her plants, it could be a really cool pairing and allow Batman and Catwoman to develop against the contrast of another couple being supervillians. They could even go after the Court of Owls for some wrong against their families, and Batman ends up investigating both and finding some big name like the mayor in charge. They could play more into the personal fears he has as he wonders who he can trust as Bruce or Batman by sabotaging or setting him up in creative ways, and paired with Scarecrow it can go as deep and dark as they want to for audiences.
I could see something happening with the water in the aftermath of this even, like Croc or Mr Freese. I'd also be down for Solomon Grundy and possibly the Long Halloween series of comics. But I'm hoping with Joker and Riddler hanging out that we get to see some form of The War of Jokes and Riddles as the finale of Patterson's Batman after they build up some other villains stories before Arkham is inevitably damaged or destroyed allowing inmates to escape.
I personally would love to see a version of Arnold Wesker (the ventriloquist) maybe not as a main villain (somewhat like penguin) and scarecrow could also be great for the next movie. The ventriloquist dealing with mental health issues while also having his puppet persona controlling him to do tasks would honestly be a great fit for the next movie. I do think the basic choice for the next movie is definitely mr freeze, he would still be an excellent villain for the franchise though.
Court of Owls would be absolutely perfect for the third film or a final film in the series.
You read my mind with the first two!!!
BTW, I would like to see adaptations more faithful to the source material in the comics, and not as grounded as Nolan's trilogy.
I would pick Bryan Cranston for Mr. Freeze and Luke Evans for Clayface) for the sequel, and at least introduce a new Harvey Dent played by Matthew McConaughey.
Later I would love to see the Mad Hatter (played by Kevin Bacon).
And about other villains you didn't mention on your list, Killer Croc (a good adaptation this time, played by Josh Brolin), Scarface and the ventriloquist (played by Giovanni Ribisi) along with Rhino and Mugsy.
I would also like to see Hugh Jackman as Man-Bat, Benicio del Toro as Black Mask, Bryan Cox as Hugo Strange,Elizabeth Olsen would be perfect as Poison Ivy and Emma Stone as Harley Quinn.
And finally, good adaptations of Vigo Mortensen as Ra's Al Ghul, Jason Momoa as Wade Wilson and Javier Bardem as Bane.
I know nothing of this will happen, but one can dream :)
You know what I would like. Make Cluemaster a side villain, and then introduce Stephaine brown through that.
Make her robin!
Edit: for the main villain. You could make Black mask, KGBeast, Deadshot, or scarecrow
Yah I really like these picks and are in my list but mine is (in order) Mr. Freeze, Hush, Scarecrow, Court of owls, Clay face, or The great white shark and I think Hush & Clay face would work so well in the same movie bc the whole who is Hush and never knowing if someone is clay face would be great and Mr. Freeze & The great white shark together bc they both focus on medical iniquity (Mr. Freeze’s wife and what the insane prisoners did to TGS’s face)
Great fn casting choices man that mad hatter casting 👏🏾👏🏾, I’m not even mad that you didn’t pick an short actor
I think it would be insanely funny if they could make Killer-Moth a super dark and terrifying serial killer.
I really would like to see Hugo strange and a comic book accurate bane. Hugo with his experiments at Arkham asylum could be working on the venom, and he and bane partner up.
Mostly I just want to see bane done right and with that green vial at the end of the Batman it might have been a clue
Nah they confirmed that was just adrenaline
8:16
To the 2 people who are going to see this, i think it would be cool (and fit sort of into the universe) If they got Madhatter in and made him persuade people with bombs sort of like what happened in real life as a sort of mind control. of course it'd also work if it just blatantly mind controls you but i think it'd be a nice reference, even a hypnosis sorta thing
Villains I would like to see hush, court of owls, azrael, man-bat, anarchy, black mask
Azrael isn’t a villain just Batman if he killed
I think it would be good to have Manbat as a secondary antagonist
Mad Hatter as a secondary villain would be good.
Johnny Depp would be PERFECT!!!
They kinda hinted at hush in the movie, also Calendar Man would fit the serial killer noir vibe from this movie.
Maybe it could be interesting if they tie Mr. Freeze in with the Court of Owls. Like he he works on the cryo technology they use to keep the Talons alive in exchange for them funding his search for a cure for Nora.
I think Joker and Scarecrow would actually make a great duo. They are both known for making poisonous gases.
If you remember when batman is down hurt badly, he uses a green chemical that he pumps into himself which makes him strong and seem to have violent tendencies. Now I think Band getting a hold on this form of Venom would also fit the narrative of “batman creates the villains he fights” like how the riddler thought himself a crusader of justice like the batman
I would love to see Mr Frieze but I would also love to see Bane done right kind of like how he is in knightfall
This is the most potential I’ve ever seen for a superhero sequel
I want the last movie to be court of owls with maybe a short Scarface as an intro villain that tips batman into the fact that there is more going on. Or black mask could do that too. If the court was using him as a pawn.
Second movie being scarecrow or mad hatter for sure. Make the movie rated R. Like scarecrow horror movie vibes or mad hatter being a live kidnapper abducting girls that look like Alice.
It would be crazy…
The sequel should revolve around a batman who is struggling to keep the peace between warring mobs fighting for city territory whilst also causing so much collateral damage in the process. This leads to someone dying because batman wasn't physically strong enough leading him to use venom, the bane serum that makes him capable of lifting heavy objects however there is a side effect which makes him manic and psychotic. So here he is in no man's land hooked on a drug and this would symbolize everyone's struggle to tangle with the abyss while the city becomes a war zone. This is the cue for Robin to step up and be introduced and help our hero struggling with the darkness. I think scarecrow would work with this story best because everything I've forementioned foreshadows the fear dynamic of everything taking place.
I think that they should definitely do Mr Freeze next as we’ve never really seen a good acting prefomance of him if anything. I would also like to see two-face or maybe scarecrow in the sequel, but if they aren’t in there I think they should do the joker for the final movie in the franchise. It just works.
imagine bane but realistic (with a gas mask, deep raspy voice, steroids, and the same goal as i’m the Dark Knight Rises) and he can also use his intelligence to fight Batman because in the comics he is an intellectual equal to Batman
The court of owls and crane are probably the most likely villains to be in the next movie. But I really can’t imagine clay face being in the movie. But here’s an outside of the box idea, what if death stroke could be the next villain.
I would honestly love to see a live action hush in the future, not sure about the rest of y'all
A scene I would love to see in matt Reeves Batman is from the animated long Halloween movie after Batman fights scare crow and sees his family and selina helps him and leaves him at the steps and bruce just looks up at Alfred and says "where is she Alfred? My mother I was with my mother"
I was thinking 3 distinct chapters each with a different primary villain, to start you can have killer croc stalking the flooded streets of Gotham he's a nice physical threat, act 2 you have someone like poison Ivy that poses a more supernatural threat and act three you have a threat that's been building from the beginning something more organised a serial killer like calender man that takes time to track down and is not so easy to catch in the year or more it would take to de-flood Gotham.
Court of owls: as you said cryogenically frozen could be the great special area of a hired scientist named Victor Freeze.
Since the first movie with the Riddler was more focused on improving Batman's detective skills, so I think the socond film could be focused on Batman improving his fighting skills. In that case Deathstroke would fit in perfectly. Because the universe is more realistic he wouldn't be able to have his regeneration factor, but he could still have his great fighting skills and intelligence.
+ 1 for the original names of Clayface and Mad Hatter.
If they attempt to make Clayface a reality, I think they would need the best CGI team and make sure it stays dirty. Basil Karlo has an amazing appearance in the last decade in video games. However, Jervis Tetch had some incredible moments, diving into the psyche and even traumatising the women he kidnaps. With the way The Batman ends, a woman trying to hold on to the beacon of Vengeance who became Hope, it might be a cool idea.
I’m biased towards Jonathan Crane. He’s my favorite villain despite the fact that he deserves better adaptations outside of the Arkham video games. We get a chance to see how dirty the Arkham State Hospital is, as well as Blackgate… or maybe a much darker corner of that hospital when Edward Nashton is in his cell. Crane could be a fantastic addition not just for the theme of fear and how it makes us do things irrationally, but how one can manipulate the mind to the point of proving how much fear is driving every single decision… even the rational ones. With his performance in Marriage Story, yes… Adam Driver could be an excellent Crane and he could morph his voice behind the Scarecrow mask in a grounded way, more so than his role as Kylo Ren in Star Wars.
However, The Batman already explored fear through vengeance so I think Scarecrow would be best as a final antagonist to avoid being redundant… if a trilogy is ever planned out… considering the state of our own world with the course of this pandemic and how the outside world, specifically Ukraine, needs some help. Of course, that movie has shown we can all do better…
For now I’m just glad that Matt Reeves took his shot as well as he did and I hope it becomes the new template.
Manhatter was in my favorite episode from the 90's cartoon...penchant to a dream
Jeremy Allen White would be great as the Mad Hatter for the Batman and they should do a Dark Winter Wonderland vibe with Mad Hatter and Mr. Freeze.. Preferably Tobin Bell as Mr. Freeze
Since Riddler in this movie is obviously evil in this and there is no question about it, I think having the next villain be a sympathetic person who was put in a bad situation would be a good addition. I still think Mr Freeze would be the best just like they said in the video. Manbat could also be another character but I don’t think he would be a main villain.
Clayface would also be neat too.
Also all of your casting decisions in this are so good, I wish you could cast the next Batman movie.
professor pyg would be amazing for the third movie. I dont think they should have two super operatic villians back to back, with this riddler being a big orchestrator it would be nice to go big in the 2nd with a mr freeze or court of owls, then taking it back down to pyg in the third
This is a re-upload. We had to make some sponsorship changes. If you could watch it again, we’d love you forever. (Not that we don’t already ❤️)
These are all great picks but I’d like to see Ra’s Al Ghul, Hush, Hugo Strange, or in a later film, Red Hood.
*pretty unrealistic wishlist, but here we go*
Old movie villains i want to see remade in this version of Batman: Mr. Freeze and/or Scarecrow
New villains i want to see make their movie debut: Hush, Mad Hatter, Dr. Strange, Ventriloquist and Scarface, Court of Owls, Calendar Man
Villains i want to see in the Spin-off shows: Black Mask, Cluemaster, Zsasz, Professor Pyg and Maxie Zeus
Deathstroke, Red Hood, Clayface, Poison Ivy, or Mr. Freeze would be great if shot in a gritty style like in “Seven”. As long as it’s a villain we haven’t seen often.
The best choices for me are ones that have storyline with Bruce Wayne and Batman like Thomas Elliott/Hush, Harvey Dent/Two Face and zI also agree that Dr. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow is perfect for this dark world they are creating and he could be creating that Drops drug and perhaps works for Penguin. Yet I still think Crane can be the top villain and hold his own with the right actor.
I would love a professor pig murder mystery
Also I think Adrian Brody would be pretty cool for Scarecrow
I think he should have an irredeemable villain or two just to get him in that mindset that all the people he faces are evil and then have mr freeze in the third or fourth movie to show him that the people he fights aren’t necessarily evil
They did leave a hint at Bane with the drug that Batman used to get back up, which could possibly be Venom. I’m just really hoping to see a possible comic accurate version of Bane keeping both his intelligent mind, and his addiction to Venom.
I would like to see Scarecrow in the next Batman movie, because both use fear to there advantage.
Plus I don't know much about Scarecrow other than from the comics so I would like to see him on the big screen
I think it will be scare crow and or bane. Even black mask would fit well and especially court of owl is creepy
Andrew Garfield as Harvey Dent, but not Two-face yet
Firefly would be sum diff seen somebody say they could spin it into a unibomber type of criminal
I think that talon and the court of owls would be good. I also think man-bat could be in the sequel to terrorize the streets as the court of owls try’s to ruin Batman and Bella Reals reputation. I think talon could try to kill Bella real.
its WAY to early for the court of owls. Batman needs to be in the game for at least a decade, having established himself and built a batfamily before he takes on the court of owls or even hears about them. It needs to come as a surprise revelation that this whole time he had been the Batman, the city was really under the control of the Court, and they need to get at him through his son Damien which grounds batman even more. Above all that, having the court as batmans second villains really takes way from their value because they're inevitably going to be defeated by Batman so having an early and inexperienced batman take down the court is a really bad move and ruins the image of the court. It should be a team effort with the entire batfamily coming together to fight them and preferably have it as a two part kovie like in the Dark Knight Returns.
If the next movie has scare crow as the villain and the cover of where did you sleep last night by nirvana I will die a happy man
I seriously like the last Batman, if we saw a 2face with a joker that is the ultimate duo. Add the riddler to it… omg that would be nuts. They all compliment each other way to well. 2face wanting to kill Batman, joker just wanting to have fun with Batman and the riddler toying with him with riddles telling the bat what will happen. Bro, that’s the best idea you will ever get for this movie
7:57 "Especially when you consider the fact that Jervis would have live victims and be putting Batman against the clock to save them. It would add a whole wrinkle to the story that we didn't see during riddler's escapades"
I'm not sure what happened here when you wrote this but I'll just remind you that there is a pretty memorable scene in the movie that pins batman against the clock to save a victim... Ring a bell??? We need something brand new, not just another serial killer. Then the second movie would feel like a copy of the first one, and who the heck wants that?
Awsome batman stuff dc comics I will like for Mr freez to be the villain or scarecrow is also good to
if its up to me my picks for both movies in what ever order are freez scarcrow clayface killer crock two face
For the sequel, I’d love for the main villain to be Deacon Blackfire and The Mad Hatter as a secondary villain, and for Riddler to be a Hannibal Lector type of character. If Robin is to make an appearance I want it to be Tim Drake.
Some other villains I would like to see in the sequel would be Wrath as the main villain, and Cluemaster as the secondary villain.
Would love to see some lesser know villains like mr freeze and killer croc, poison ivy and firefly or just professor pyg
Proffessor Pyg played by Anthony Hobkins
Deathstroke/ Talon played by Scot Adkins (Who had auditioned for THE BATMAN first)
Would also like to see Azreal, Phantasm, Solomon Grundy & Scarface
It’ll be cool to have a more comic accurate version of victor zsasz have a small part on the next movie
Was this a re upload?
Dr. Hugo Strange as the main antagonist, played by Jeff Bridges.
I'd love to see killer moth in any shape or form.
Maybe he could be treated as a cryptid throughout the movie, like the mothman or bigfoot
I'd like to see some female villains in live action since the last real villain we got was Poison Ivy. (I don't count Talia because she barely did anything in the movie once revealed) I wouldn't hate if they skipped over Joker and Harley and went straight to Punchline. Harley is my favorite female comic book character of all time but we have had so much of her recently I wouldn't mind. Poison Ivy as an eco-terrorist could be great. Other options could be Lady Vic, Cheshire, Lady Shiva, Nyssa, Lynx, Magpie, Mime, etc. There are so many great female villains that they could use in side roles.
Ehhhhhhhhhhh I guess...
How about The Phantasm? The animated film is universally loved amongst many Batman fans, And casual fans would be blown away by the reveal. Its the perfect time placement too, and it solves that pesky Joker oversaturation problem. Any villain could serve in that role.
i dont see poison ivy being in it, it would not fit the realism that reeves is going for, but harley quinn is definitly possible especially with the joker returning, it would not be a bad idea at all to include harley quinn in the sequel
I would like the court more for the next one
Would love to see Firefly, Killer Croc, or Man-Bat live action.
I’d love to see the mad hatter as a psychedelic drug manufacturer who controls people through a powerful drug he created. Realistic and fits in Reeves universe. 🎩
I kind of want it to be the court of owls tbh, thar would really fit the detective theme I think
