Becca, you should be grateful that your dad stuck around long enough to see you go to college and encourage you to start a business, my dad passed away 4 years ago when I was in 8th grade from Lung Cancer, and the feeling of me walking to get my diploma for graduating Middle School and not seeing my dad there, hurt me so much especially seeing other kids moms and dads congratulating them made me tell my mom I wanted to leave early after it was done. It also felt sad starting High School without him, and a little while after starting High School my mom signed me up for therapy since I really wasn't doing good, and it's definitely helped a lot. I do still miss my dad a lot but knowing he did everything he could to help my family, and that he always was and will be proud of me, makes me feel happy. ❤

Dear Becca as a writer i want to thank you because despite being older then you by a few years this video has helped me. Ive loved watching these vids because they have become an inspiration to me. In july 2022 i was diagnosed after a craniotomy with a slight chance of having a low grade glioma brain tumor and while i didnt need chemo or radiation ive had worse happen which has downward spiraled into a depression. On January 14th 2023 at 730 only being put on hospice for barely a day my mom passed away but to add worsr on may 9th 2024 at 1233 pm my dad was gone too. As an only child i fell into a downward spiral of pain and loneliness. Despite having family there for me its a tough pain but seeing this video has inspired me to write a book about all that i dealt with in the last two years, and i do take time for myself. Thank you. I understand about your father dying, my dad died the same month, a year later on Halloween, when I was in seventh grade, he also had a massive heart attach, I was sleeping the whole time I didn't even hear a thing, there where some ambulances and my mom even called everyone in my family, I woke up to them all at my bed and I was like WHAT IS GOING ON!, I was failing school in second semester I didn't want to go to school, I skipped school so much! I couldn't even go into the parking lot of school, my mom ended up putting me through home schooling for the last few weeks of school, I'm now a freshman and I'm doing very well, math used to be my worst class but now it's one of my bests! Halloween is my least favorite holiday now...

I feel for you. I just discovered your channel and have been watching all your videos. I'm 29 and just lost my mom to brain cancer a month ago. Losing a parent is a big punch to the gut.
It's hard losing loved ones but you still gotta go on its heavy ik I lost Both grandfathers and what makes it even more sad is they were siblings and they died in one year just separate months And my little cousin we were incredibly young and at the innocent soul age if it makes sense And my moms brother the one who was the most optimistic between the older family members

Dear Becca as a writer i want to thank you because despite being older then you by a few years this video has helped me. Ive loved watching these vids because they have become an inspiration to me. In july 2022 i was diagnosed after a craniotomy with a slight chance of having a low grade glioma brain tumor and while i didnt need chemo or radiation ive had worse happen which has downward spiraled into a depression. On January 14th 2023 at 730 only being put on hospice for barely a day my mom passed away but to add worsr on may 9th 2024 at 1233 pm my dad was gone too. As an only child i fell into a downward spiral of pain and loneliness. Despite having family there for me its a tough pain but seeing this video has inspired me to write a book about all that i dealt with in the last two years, and i do take time for myself. Thank you. I also love how your drawings are inspired by wallace and gromit. Great old school cartoon for its time. Again thank you. Sincerely Amanda L

I understand about your father dying, my dad died the same month, a year later on Halloween, when I was in seventh grade, he also had a massive heart attach, I was sleeping the whole time I didn't even hear a thing, there where some ambulances and my mom even called everyone in my family, I woke up to them all at my bed and I was like WHAT IS GOING ON!, I was failing school in second semester I didn't want to go to school, I skipped school so much! I couldn't even go into the parking lot of school, my mom ended up putting me through home schooling for the last few weeks of school, I'm now a freshman and I'm doing very well, math used to be my worst class but now it's one of my bests! Halloween is my least favorite holiday now...
