    Great video! I dusted off my old carbon C14 bindings last weekend, and the toe strap snapped, and both toe ramps crumbled. 😢
    Loved the fast responsiveness when shredding with the C14’s. But, I’m going to focus more on “style” these days. So, hopefully the Malavitas I ordered will get the job done.

      When it comes to bindings, it’s really just a personal preference. With a binding like the X it would be super fast edge to edge, but the Genesis would have a little smoother feel. Can’t go wrong either way. STEPON -> www.the-house.com/search?term=“Step+on”

    Great video to show the latest feature of each bindings in different price! I have two questions: 1. I decide to go 23W custom and Malavita. it seems the most recommended size by Burton US web is 158. but as I take this to Burton Japanese web is shows me both 158 and 158W can work well. I would like to know what is the opinion from your guys.Do wider snowboard really matter? 2. if I choose 158W, the web only suggest to go Large bindings, can a Medium binding also works? couple of my friends do that, but we do not know if that is okay....🤣

    Thanks for this video on the rest of your content it's good stuff. I've ridden for over 30 years about three years ago I decided all my old gear and board needed to be replaced souichiro I've been buying components mostly from the house and I've been a big Burton Fanboy for a long time.
    I have a flight attendant with cartels, Burton AK jacket / pants everything Burton. Love the gear
    I'd like to upgrade my bindings to the EST style to go with my flight attendant I was going to go with cartels or cartel x again however I noticed that the ratchet straps aren't the dual take up like my cartels and I'm wondering if it's the same quality as my older cartels.
    My cartels have the same straps and ratchets as The Maltveda for this year.
    My question is what would be the best Burton bindings to go with my flight attendant? What's recommended for this board by Burton?
    Thanks

    • @oldmanwintereight
      @oldmanwintereight Год назад +1

      Much appreciated, I'm going to try and keep things going here for sure. For the FA it's really up to you. I wouldn't worry too much about the difference in the buckles. Between the Cartel and Cartel X its mostly about the glass in the plate. The Cartel X is a stiffer and quicker reaction than the Cartel because it has more glass mixed in with the nylon. IF that sounds better to you grab the Cartel X, if not and you like the way your bindings feel now then just stick with the Cartel. Hopefully that helps 👍

      @thehouse  Год назад

      Really up to you and your personal preference in flex. Traditionally someone would throw a little stiffer binding like the Cartel X or X EST but if you want a little smoother feel the regular Cartel, Malavita, or Genesis would be perfect. The only ones I wouldn't recommend would be the Freestyle or Mission. Also if this is going to be your only board and you don't need the bindings to fit on any other non-Burton boards grab the EST versions. They feel better under your feet than the ReFlex.

      I always go with the EST on Burton boards. Much better flex and feel. As for the model it’s completely up to you and your preferences. Really can’t go wrong with any of the bindings, just depends and the flex you prefer. Check out this vid -> ruclips.net/video/S4ji_3zlesM/видео.html

      @@thehouse thank you than I go with EST. I knew this video but the flex are so similar comparing cartel, malavita and genesis. Without riding it’s hart to tell which one to get.
