I'm semi-retired so I would have no business owning an E Scan, but I can see the advantages for an active shop. The scanner contains all of the formulas to obtain the results needed to diagnose the problem. It automatically supplies the data and enters it into the formula. The calculations are displayed immediately in an easy to understand chart or graph. If you knew the formulas and did your own calculations, it could take 5 minutes or more to get a numerical value to interpret. If you needed to do this 12 times, it could waste an hour of your time. The E Scan could do it all in a couple of minutes.

Will this scan tool transition to electric vehicles in the future. Does it do anything w/ adas? I came here specifically searching to see if this scan tool automagically calculates VE, and it does. Nice tool.
I love the output feature of the scope. Being able to mimic a signal is so vital. I have no problem looking at "outdated" software, as some complain about. I actually prefer it - my offline pc is a 20yr old Dell running XP. In order to fix it you gotta see it, first. I always say electricity is like the female orgasm - you can't see it with the naked eye. This tool takes the invisible and makes it visible. All of the tools these guys offer accomplish that. You're not just buying the tool - your buying Bernie's methodology with it. The guy knows his sh*t - tops in my view. Wish I could buy the whole damn package.
