"Oh is that the new cool term? I must use it too, because this other person was cool when they said it, so that will make me cool too. Everyone's using it, so I must go along with the program or I will be seen as an individual and/or an independent thinker and I can't have that."

The fact is humans are basically good and managing a task of balancing our appetite and our health, and it's not always a perfect equilibrium. So consequences happen, hopefully there is no harm in the rest of us in audience enjoying it. + Ask me when I'm being drugged how I feel. It is pessimism like William has to share, and I hate it. I am content with how I feel now, despite the strange presence I feel in my head most days the fast few years.
