I love that this scene has a certain Western vibe to it even though it doesn't take place in Westworld (the park). Especially the line "Then what's my name, friend?", MIB's menacing aura being reminiscent of some of his best scenes in Season 1 / Season 2. Almost as good as the famous "Death is always true" scene from S2 (the convo between him and Confederados guy). "I'm probably not gonna do any permanent damage." Jeez.
I love the parallels, mib used to make the hosts question the nature of their reality and now, host mib is making the humans question the nature of their reality. What would the show do if it didn't have Ed Harris🔥😍❤️
"you represent a very significant investment , of time of effort" - even though humans in this world are created and controlled like the hosts were in westworld , UNLIKE THE HOSTS THEY CANNOT BE REPLACED. Once a human is killed thats it, that person is dead forever. Clementine says "we have a colleague whos appetites' have become..... unsustainable" because while the hosts are allowed to kill humans , they are not allowed to massacre them. Its like Lee Sizemore says in s1 "Now, you pull one character, the overall story adjusts. You pull 200 at once -- and it's a fucking disaster!"
I liked season 3s concept better. But it was very rushed. Killed off serac’s story arc too soon. Search was a very good replacement to Dr ford. Had a lot of potential but was too fast paced.
I love these conversations in Westworld, not directly contributing to the plot but reveals its true philosophy. It’s a beautiful and provocative moment. Do we really have control over our lives? Or are we but the pawns of this world?
It's a question that I've always wondered and the reason I've loved this show from the beginning. What is the point of free will if you're simply following your impulses at the end of the day? How much of our lives are "scripted" by nature?
@@alecjones4676 even if not scripted, we live within the boundaries of survival. You need to make money so you do things that you wouldn't do if you had free will--like work in sales.
I wish they would have allowed WW to finish the series. It has it's flaws and had a stronger start... but if there's only one season left, let them do it.
"wasted" is, I think, a really strong word. He clearly didn't love not having the black costume, and I think his character's development had some poor pacing issues (all of which, however, I nearly forgive, given this season's positively ridiculous pacing). But there is simply no way you can get from who he is in the S2 finale to who he is in the S3 finale without that development.
god season 4 was dissapointing we could have Serac end up the rebellion, humnaity learn an important lesson about hubris and control and had a good finish there.
Yeah that would be nice, but as if humanity would learn that lesson if we're being completely honest so the ending where humans "lose" seems very plausable.
The NPC's subtle facial expresions and emotions leaking through made this scene... (along with Ed Harris, the script, and the score, of course)

The scene is kinda so scary. A total opposite of Westworld season 1 scenario. All the power with the machines, humans at their mercy.

I'm pretty sure he says "WE represent a very significant investment of time and effort".
No, it's definitely ''you''.@@thebadluckboys
Chilling scene... Very well scripted and played, too.
Are they hosts?
@@miratunatar humans are the hosts now.
They are humans infected with a mind-controlling device by the hosts
I don’t know any of my friends names tbh
That doesn't look like anything to me
"Freeze all motor functions"
Season 4 to me really seemed like a small return to form. Although the show was canceled, at least it ended with 4 rather than season 3
Exactly, I was surprised that it got canceled, it was going back to its roots indeed!
We deserves a season 5 to put an end to this masterpiece
for my taste, it could have ended with season 2. the move away from the park, into the city, really put me off
Season 2 would have been fine.
I liked season 3s concept better. But it was very rushed. Killed off serac’s story arc too soon. Search was a very good replacement to Dr ford. Had a lot of potential but was too fast paced.
When a countries leader meets someone from BlackRock...
When Serac met the brazilian persident.

Man we wouldn't know.. bro research Donald Hoffman theory about how we can't see reality...it's really similar to Westworld lol

If Ed wasn't in the show anymore i won't give a damn fuck bout it
I know his name friend. . .
His name is _Famine_ , the black horseman with his weighting scales of justice.
I swear this man played my dad in this entire season, and oh boy did we learn which group we belonged to.
Definitely
So disturbing, love this scene, especially in full context of the second half of the season.
Tower power.
This season was so good
Yeah season 3 dropped the ball alittle but 4 was gold but nothing beats season 1.
Nature of life, my friends. Something gets its stride back and attains a positive future again then the powers that be kill it in its crib

Thank god they are using ed this season. He was wasted on season 3.

Reminds me a bit of when Ford and MiB shared a drink in s1
This is ultimate truth drop scene for everyone who thinks they are not an NPC

Amazing mind-blowing
Am I the only one who wished we could have seen more of Haloress world? And the only one who found it beautiful?
I would love to see more of this world!
I'm really interested in everyone being programmed to recognize and defer to Halores and William, but not quite know how they know them....
Me too . If i will be given a chance to be in charlores' world . I think i will enjoyed it .( if only im a host 🤔🤫😉
