New Zealand is about the size of Colorado, and only has 5 million people, but it wins a good amount of medals. A lot of them come in rowing and sailing.
Hi, the Olympic surfing is indeed in France (LOL): Teahupo'o is a village on the island of Tahiti in French Polynesia, which is a semi-autonomous territory of France, its like Hawaii for us ! get it ???
It's definitely a little shorter. I'm going to try a 1/2 size larger, but I didn't even want to waste going out for a run. I could already kind of feel like running around the apartment.
I think we need to pull apart the categories even more: SC trainer v1/2, primex 1/2, Nike tempo and ASICS Superblast I would call maximalist+ trainers. The others Thomas was mentioning: saucony speed 1-4, deviate nitro, magic speed, etc. are super trainers to me.
Totally agree that the brands have too many different kinds of shoes. I hope the brands simplify in the future. I’m guessing brands are trying to create premium shoes at higher price points to pick up margin from Rabbit and Tracksmith lovers. I think Balos, Superblast, Skyward X, Hyperion Max, Pegasus Plus are a few examples.
A Brooks tech rep said that they have focused more on Uppers for the Hyperion 2 Series because they feel that foams are pretty comparable across brands now and the feel of Uppers will set shoes apart for the next few years.
Agree with Megan! Every brand has too many shoes! Wonder what your thoughts are on overconsumption? Should we not hold the brands (and you/us more consumers) more accountable?
Would y'all consider doing a whole podcast on training in the heat? Some Q&A would be great! I appreciated y'alls comments here and in a previous Drop, but I'm eager for more. Not sure if there's enough to say about it to flesh out a whole podcast, just a thought. I saw that suspicious cut to a new topic shortly after 7:33. "It was dog eared." 😜
Haven’t tried sc 3 or rebel. I loved the sc trainer 1. At first I didn’t like the sc2. But then it grew on me. However I think something needed done to their foam. Both versions were great but broke down way too fast. I could barely get 200 miles and in one pair I didn’t hit 200. So maybe a firmer start they won’t break down so much
SC Trainer v3 is considerably lighter than the v2. .8oz for the women's. Please just tell the powers that be to pull Robbe from any discussion of NB shoes. He sounds like a broken record. Plus, I think he needs some B12 or Iron in this diet. 😆
If you're going to do interesting drinks, you should at least describe what it is. Those shoe art pieces are cool too. On email: I have a really short email address and tons of people use the address for junk email. I've had this problem since the 1990s.
…great disclaimer at the end.., making sure the IOC doesn’t take legal action. And hopefully these brands listen, to you, and other reviewers, etc… you have too many shoes.. we the public don’t need 9 shoes, make 4-6, really good ones.., and we the consumer will figure it out.., and not so many will end up at Ross, Marshall’s, and TJ Maxx.. oooh wait, I may be messing up my frugal running lifestyle. 😮
Wrong Meg. If you do enough sweepstakes you will not necessarily win. Each time you enter you have the same shitty astronomical chances of winning no matter if you enter one or a million. That is why I will never get a spot at the London Marathon even though I enter the lottery every year.
SC Trainer v3 talk starts at 1:00:10
thank you for your service

I wish I've seen this comment before scrolling and speeding most of this video.

Robbie talking about the SC trainer v3 in this and the first thoughts videos = most people talking about their ex-es after a bad breakup 😅

I think Thomas got a little lost in the sauce around plated performance trainers vs super trainers. Sorry siding with Meg and Robbie here 😂
Surprise and happy you mentioned the Deadpool Wolverine movie. I'm going to see it this weekend. Thanks for the review.
Hope you enjoy it!
Nice! Is the NB Trainer 3s more firm than the RC Elite 2s? I found the Elites too mushy with not as much rebound

That’s what I would say if our foams were meh, but are uppers were 🔥

If you add another L to Balos then wouldn’t it be pronounced with a short A like the way you guys are saying 🤔
Thomas, you might consider a career in ASMR.

Just bubbly LMNT. Surprised you can see the paintings.
A "Supertrainer" that is not good for a faster workout. I'm confused about why this is a Supertrainer.
I'd be surprised if you see your Leatherman
Yeah, my expectations aren't high

Stop trying to derail our scratch-off lottery dreams
Come on… it’s French Polynesia
