This model is awesome! It is actually a "tri-copter. As it flies low, over the water, in ground effect, one can see it has three jets! The third, in the nose, nicely placed, controls the pitch. The side duct fans are awesome! They also have control blades in the air flow! Wish I could see this model built at full scale!

It has wings on the back. This means that when it goes forward kinda fast, it would have the tendency to pitch up.
It could be scaled up, but the Osprey is more practical.
@@Mechaghostman2 the wings in the back could be use as and horizontal stabilizer that could pitch up and down to change the nose angle of attack.
Why is the military not looking into innovating this kind of technology on a large scale?!?!?!?!?!
Damn if their was a version of this that had the same body style and concealed props made of cheaper material ( landing the overall cost around 200$) I would jump on it faster then you could say ' give me your money"

Well it has to be there for the drone to fly, aromaticly it would not fly if that fan wasn’t there. The aerials from the 3rd movie are the most realistic HKs from the films

Excellent! I hope within several years there will be a working model that people can fly! I've heard that flying cars (we (i.e. "the public") were told decades ago that we should have had them by the year 2000.) will be commonplace once "cars can drive themselves" with g.p.s. guided controls. This model is tricopter. In front installed of the masked screw. In turbines installed the control plate.
In the description is a reference to the construction of the model.
The model Hanter is in the closet, electronics removed.The model was based on the film as a hobby. Flying time 7 minutes, payload I have not tested.
Tummy you don't know much of rc right ? With the today engine and esc not mention lipos he has more then enough to hover this thing
I think there is a fan in the front end, notice the grills on the top and bottom, that would enable it to move in any direction

I not correctly picked the paint. In some places the paint eroded foam.
The single seat "Sky Car" was designed to the same concept (with two lifters instead of four). But Moller hasn't even got a model of it off the ground. He's just got another 80 million (from another sucker) but you are more ahead of him (with that particular concept). He's a nut-case. With all that money, all he has is a few static models. He's bullshit.

Uhhh How you do dat? lol No really how does this thing work? It doesnt look like the Inducted fans even move. Is it basically a dual coaxial kind of thing? I really thought that you were going to pitch the fans into full-blown forward and fly like a plane. Dude that would be freakin awesome on some that can hover & rudder as well as this thing seems to. Nice vid and very interesting concept! I like it!
Мда, вот то порой и обидно. 90 вечеров работы, В результате единственный на планете действительно летающий Охотник из Терминатора. Хотя даже в фильме с многомиллионным бюджетом Охотник висит на струнах.

А стабилизация? В настройках кнопки: "улучшить видео", "стабилизация" - стандартные функции RUclips.
Its not fake, the waviness in the video is obviously from the video stabilization he used. Notice the black floating bar on the top and bottom of the screen moving? I wonder what he used, I like it better than the pulsing distorted stabilization imovie uses, and thats not a mac bash, I use iMovie!

maybe you should get some laser pens with high intensity beams mounted to it and do a strafing run on some balloons from the resistance. hook it up to a strobe switch so it fires beams in that effect, would look awesome at night.

Well I saw water moving and most of the flight except for the landing was at least 3 or 4 feet high and as a quad flyer using 10x4.5's who lives in the desert i can assure you at 3 or 4 feet I dont even disturb a grain of sand. I can see this is a tricopter basically flying backwards and it aint hard. besides at takeoff and pass over the water and landing you do see FOD...

Read the links in the description of the video and you will realize that the model is not two, but three motors.
Furthermore, we should not compare flight volume model with a skeleton quadcopter.

A Tricopter with nice body.
You should put some servos to tilt the motors. Would be interesting if you could make it into a working VTOL... don't think its going to go full plane but maybe 30-40 degrees of rotation would be interesting...
in Russia is cheaper and faster to make a real model than computer graphics
Suggestion, Have a control to tilt the side propellors forward to make the aircraft fly faster, than if you want to slow down, tilt them backwards, than to land, back at 90 degree angle.
Are you sure we need to build these things? Cylons, Terminators, what part of this seems like a good idea? Did you even watch the movies?... It's pretty bad ass. How long does it stay up?
What kind of visual software has been used to steady out the camera so it digitally tracks the helicopter? (p.s., I know it's a real RC helicopter for those of who you think otherwise ;) )

No way something like that can fly that stable without an advanced computer system and a decent gyro. The fan blades are also way too small to create any form of decent lift for such a construction. Nice model tho...

I wish someone would have made a more helicopter-like version of this. ( dual fixed, constant-speed rotor with collective and cyclic pitch ). Like the CH-47 Chinook, but sideways. This would allow for autorotation to land and a bigger rotor motor to be mounted in the fuselage.
