Beautiful I wish I can fly one more time in the Boeing 747 the queen of sky which is my favorite aircraft but sadly even the one in this video already has been retired. ☹️
For those who wants to know: take-off from Schiphol Airport, the so-called Polderbaan (18R - 36L) in northern direction. You can at 6:41 you can see the N205/N232 junction and at 7:00 the A200/A9 junction. With Haarlem in the background. At 7:21 the bridge of the A9 over "Zijkanaal C". Just before hitting the clouds, at 7:35, the Spanie Holandia / Droompark Buitenhuizen.
I LOVE the sound. I don't fly anymore after a little mishap but I'm so proud that in my days it was these sounds I heard! Last night was my 1st silent plane video. Yuck. Lamo like a Prius. We love our Prius but not the silence! Beautiful bump. Thanks
Awesome video! I could watch this all day long! For now I'm just going keep repeating the part where the engines are spooling up. Thanks for posting this!
Flew with KLM jumbo several times in the late 80ies round trip Tokyo - Amsterdam. Business class and economy. Very comfortable. Super good KLM service. Those days are now a nostalgic memory. Thank you for this great video!
Yes indeed me to i think the same,i am proud of our Schiphol and planes,i flew in 1993 with the Boeing 747 to Curacau it was fantastic and the service to.And the pilots and stewards.
Simply superb....never stops to give me a thrill !!! Either watching one take off or watching it on RUclips or Flying in One !! Happy Landings to the Capt & Crew. Cheers from India!
Flew on one of the KLM 74s from Nairobi to Amsterdam... amazing experience Something bout the wingflex, phylon shaking, and overall KLM; it just has a zing to it the Queen has! Goes hand in hand she does as well as their now retired MD-11s, my favorite alongside the Queen. Late, but thanks for your contribution(s) to us "Queen" lovers. Reminds me of flying Thai 747s back when they were sorta new (presume they're retired or going to be phased out soon). Many experiences overall flying, but nothing beats the 747s. Going to miss her, especially the 400s...on landings greatly.
Have taken this very flight myself some years ago..your video capture.. simply superb.. beautiful clear day..so as the aircraft climbs..the views below..coupled with the lovely wing view.. really great..!! Thanks for sharing..!!
God knows how many times I've counted on Boeing 747s to get me across the Ocean. Best commercial aircraft ever built. I love the sound of those engines roaring at 32000 feet.
Your a genius !!! Why ? Because this is exactly how I would record an airplane landing or take-off.You recorded the video in front of the wing which allows for a wider viewing area allowing us to see more which in turn allows us to appreciate even more as the view gets more beautiful.Thank you
I've been to Schiphol Airport. I've rarely seen a cleaner airport with more friendly people in then world, and I've been to many places. Totally cool country to boot. One of the coolest things I remember seeing while flying in was an expressway going under a canal. I had to make sure what I was seeing, but it was a road going under the water.
@@thephantomeagle2 Hi, I was impressed when I visited Atlanta to see highways with 6 or more lanes on each side. More impressed I was seeing overpasses with 5 or more levels....! Ps. Was a great music trip Atlanta, Memphis, Nashville New Orleans... Its now targeted to go to California..to see and feel the music experience in this region.. Cheers!
Loved seeing this nice takeoff in the queen. Loved getting to see the push back. The climb out through the clouds was awesome. Thank you for this very nicely done video.
Great take-off there captain. Totally magic for me every time. Think I could easily fly 5 days out of 7. Love the whole experience, even in economy and my being 6'3.
Although I've already had 400 take-offs and landings, most of them in the Jumbo Jet 747, such a take-off shot creates an overwhelming feeling. Pure "goosebumps-feeling" !(zu Deutsch: Ich kriege immer noch Gänsehaut....)
Arriving or Leaving Amsterdam in late April or early May is a great time to be flying. Those fields by the airport are carpeted with Tulips. This was a nice take off also. Love the country side.
I gotta hand it to you, best passenger footage I've ever seen. Steady, great seat, great angle to see the movement of the land on takeoff and you ended up with great lighting as well.
Technology evolves. 30+ years for a piece of machinery that is subjected to the stresses that a passenger aircraft is at the limit of it's service life in that capacity. It's reached a point of diminishing returns. And theres a safety factor involved. Yes, they are beautiful and majestic. A marvel of engineering that has led to the modern passenger aircraft of today. That said I can see it continuing to be used as a large capacity cargo plane.
Great footage! Very impressive! Sad to see these Queens making their final trip to the grave yard in the Mojave desert these days. Flying is a wonderfull experience, thumbs for all people that make this happen safely, and... always FLY KLM 😘
Love wings flexing and engines shaking? I'd be in a panic and shut the window lol but I hate flying. I have to do it but uhhg it scares me everytime.. I guess I'm trying to prep myself for this is Normal this is normal for my trip to Hanover DE
If you like a complex maze of taxiways to traverse, and some very lovely multiple decks of clouds to pierce, up to where the daylight sun ALWAYS shines, why, yes, then this is amazing! And the song of the engines! At night, it could be amazing, too, as long as our running lights and inside cabin lights, don't drown out the intense stars. If a full moon's out, I'd then hope that the cabin lights are dimmed to the barest possible minimum--just LET the moon alone, light up the inside of our cabin. Auroras Australis and Borealis, would be delightful, too. Look straight up, and you're bound to see spacecraft orbiting the earth; this is where binoculars come in handy--just be sure that your window isn't smudged.
These are the most beautiful engine sounds there are of the most beautiful commercial plane ever build. Of course in my opinion. With a look at engines number 1 and 2 it can't be better.
everything on the ground slows down. up in the clouds that fast. no joke! amazing. technology baby. i worked w/a guy in the early 80's. he worked w/ klm at jfk. he paid a lower ticket price to travel. he went on a trip and said there was engine problems at jfk before takeoff. mechanics took off one engine and put on another engine 45mins., to an hour. they took off after that. scary. i would have asked to deboard. never heard of such thing. nerves of steel for that. he said "yeah charles me and my wife sat right there. did not bother me one bit"
These videos are the only ways we can relive the memories of the 747 😢. Thanks for uploading.

37 years in the airline/cargo biz and still amazes me. I could watch them takeoff all day long everyday. Cool footage.

Thanks and glad you liked it!
11A was my favorite seat on this flight, and once Sir Rod Stewart happened to be on this flight with us! Thanks for posting this video!
Dang! That's awesome.
My mum and i flew Virgin on a 747 to America in June 1996.Never flew before.Beautiful plane. We sat in the tail in economy.

5.29 makes my stomach flip. Does it every time, on any flight! Great video, really clear visual and steady filming. Nicely done.
Uh, the best part Mel..sometimes you can hear the tower giving the ok to the pilot which makes it even more exciting. You like the land, just like me.
Beautiful sounds of those powerful GE engines. Such amazing video!
Flew with KLM jumbo several times in the late 80ies round trip Tokyo - Amsterdam. Business class and economy. Very comfortable. Super good KLM service. Those days are now a nostalgic memory. Thank you for this great video!

Beautiful clarity and such a nice view of the countryside. I'm flying in three days to L.A. so this gets me excited for being in the air again!

Not exceptional such expressway going under the water.

wowza what a takeoff, the pilot pulled back and the plane took off, incredible
Got to love that start up sound before take off!!
Especially on the 747!!

The truth is the Boeing 747 is a legendary aircraft , beautiful , robust and reliable ...
Yes it is. She will be missed aside from the -8 models
PERIOD! I agree, totally...
@@TheFejfAviation I'm an A330 captain, but still I agree
I don’t like B747 because it old and the aircraft didn’t strong the electric likes to broke
Every airplane is reliable
Arriving or Leaving Amsterdam in late April or early May is a great time to be flying. Those fields by the airport are carpeted with Tulips. This was a nice take off also. Love the country side.
Do not by tulip onions in Amsterdam streets, its rubish
The aerial view of the Netherlands is beautiful to see!
Monster jets...they look like they're just hung in there. Thanks for posting. Great video.
Thanks for shooting this in 60 frames per second. Cameras that shoot at that clearer rate have been affordable since 2011.
The 747 a beautiful functioning machine.
Sad it's an end of an era
Ahhhh... Excited to be going home, but as soon as the plane smooths, looking down, it's a bittersweet goodbye, Hope to visit again.
Awesome, enjoyed the ride, thank you.
Excellent video.
Glad you liked it!

Beautiful, clear, steady camera work. One of the best.
Thank you very much. Glad you enjoyed it.
I did, very much enjoy it. I’m cursed with very little tolerance for bad camera work. So, thank YOU.
Excellent video!
747: greatest commercial plane ever made!
Love videos where people don’t add stupid music, have a rock steady video so you can really appreciate the aircraft. Fantastic, big like from me!
Thank you. Also appreciate the no feedback video. I don't really do reviews, I prefer the basics, watching out the window.
TheFejf Aviation subscribed, do you hand hold the camera it’s so stable!
Beautiful!! She really flexed her muscles and worked hard getting you to O'Hare.

I love how almost every airplane at the AirPort is KLM
It's the main hub. 😁
Bless the person who invented the airplane engine!
I'll give God the glory for that one!!
I fly on KLM frequently...always a great experience.
I'm overall pleased with them as well. Always great service but the food could be improved based on my experiences.
Hi klm wow n wow hahaha god bless us
Really amazing. I like it viewing from above of cloud.
Sounds good ❤️, Very nice take off
Fantastic video taken on such a beautiful day from AMS. Great work.

Beautiful takeoff no doubt
I know very well that flexible wings are good, but the jiggling at 10:05 looks so funky :P
Spectacular video!
I really liked the video!
klm has alot of 747. love that air plane
Very nice video! Love the GE engines!
The 747 is one hell of a high quality aircraft, it proves itself time after time, even the president of the united states chooses it over any other!
Excellent video! I recognised the spotters platform during the take off! Can’t wait to travel again bij plane.
Beautiful photography of a beautiful aircraft. New subscriber here!
Thanks for the sub!
Great flight. Hopefully KLM expands their destinations more
yay they kept the 747, while others not
Er..it was Lufthansa that decided to keep em, hehehe
Just love that roar
very cool, also holland is beautiful!
Thank You so much for the Takeoff and Landing Videos. They are great!
Amsterdam, schipol my favourit destination, been flying from Norway many times and my favorite company is KLM
Glad to see the Queen still flying...United mothballed it's last 747, just recently...
Very few carriers left.
agreed. I flew on a KLM 747 from Detroit to Amsterdam on my first overseas trip. I was just as excited to be on a 747 as I was for the trip itself.

Beautiful views.... specially dancing engines 👏
It's a fantastic view of the engines and wing! Awesome footage!
