Hats off to the people of istanbul who are friendly and letting the dog go anywhere freely
🕉🙏🏽
it's okay for me as long as he uses his istanbul card
Ya ur rite those Istanbul people are kind to let the dog wonder around.. Respect Istanbul people. 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍
I ever go there..the city very kindness with animals such as dog ,cat and birds
Absolutely
Istanbul has some impressive animal care organisations, government supported and voluntary groups. District council vets provide veterinary care for free for stray and even domestic animals. And there is a rigorous spay ( neutre), vaccinate and return policy. Hats off to Turkey for making animal welfare so much better. The street dogs are adorable. I miss them!
Well I sincerely hope that is true, however if you’ve come across Dev Naz animal rescue in Turkey you will know it doesn’t appear to be the case. Animal cruelty seems to be a sport for some people, so no, not all Turkish people are caring in regards to animals, it’s not only Turkey either, many more countries are cruel to animals.
@@Jackmack365 That is not true, in Turkey we treat strays way better than Hindus treats their cows in India. Stray means much more than what cows means to Hindus. There has been some cruelties against strays therefore new Animal rights laws passed recently which almost give strays citizenship rights and severe punishment against crimes toward to animals in general. Simply abusing , torching an animal will not be different than doing those cruel acts to a human. Turkey never put any strays into sleep and will never ever do that like majority of Western countries. Whether you agree or not we know how to coexist and share our cities with our strays
Hey nicola do you have Instagram?
If you love them so much why do you have stray dogs 🤔, just asking.
@@ike4425 - Thank you for your valuable input, not sure why you use India as an example though we when are speaking about European countries? I hope Turkey keeps up the good work in regards to obliterating animal abuse, I have not visited Turkey (yet) but I do know that animal abuse in your country
(and mine) continues and it is not hard to find the evidence of this.
The humans of Turkey are the kindest people EVER.

@@shorea01 this is actually sad but true, as someone who is Turkish, but prefers living in the US because my conditions allow me to live here better than turkey, Turkish stray animals are looked after better than some pet owners look after their pets in the US
Turkish peoples’ love for animals is some next level.
For dogs and cats ONLY
I never know trikes like animals
For most ppl no, they’re in danger in the streets in TR. they get kicked, beaten, hit w cars on purpose, raped. Ppl who try to feed and help them often get ridiculed. That is the reality.

As an owner of three rescued dogs I was pleasantly surprised by Istanbul people and how they treat their stray animals when I was there. It was really fun and unexpected. Hats off to Istanbul. :)
His life is awesome
free food, free health care, free petting from people :))
This dog does far better than me at Public transport. I once took a bus and got lost, lol
Same 😂😂
You are so right, i watched another video about boji, and a kind Of security man told that " I even couldnt be sure ebout the right station to get off but look out of Windows to be sure, but it directly goes out of the door in the same station near sea side,,, and gaze the sea view about half an hour everyday,
Every time I ride the bus I end up lost.

That's the reason I respect Turkish people
I saw lot of wonderful stray dogs in my travel in Turkey. They are all so nice and well behaved. I hope people are taking care of them during the pandemic by feeding them. They depend on human kindness.
dony worry we take care of them since 1453
@@kayacenk4164 I love turkey because such a kind people 😘😘😘😘. Lots of love from Indonesia
You can even see a starving person -though which is impossible- but no animal :)
Turkiah government ordered municipalities to leave foods and water in streets for stray animals during pandemic lockdown since people couldn't leave their houses and provide for stray animals.
In goreme....famous for the strange landscape amd balloons there arex loads of strays they all seem very healthy...obviously the turks help them i felt sorry for a couple that met me while I was sunbathing on top of a cliff. I swear
A lot to learn from Turkey in terms of Animal care
Actually quite opposite. We have a stray dog problem. This dog is cute yes but there are lots of them on street. They are scary when group. Imagine you are walking on street at midnight and chased by 15 pack of dogs. At least one person die because of them in turkey. Dogs are just pet animals which must be under a persons control.
He Looks very happy. But,l thought maybe the folks just let him alone because he could bite, but he looks OK. Just a Wandering Dog,could have friends either side of the Bosforus?😊🐕🇹🇷

Good to see where in India humans gets slashes by cars and illtreated by fellow humans. . In Europe animals get treated like humans.
May God bless the people of Istanbul. Being so kind to animals and dog can live happily and freely. Love Boji
I'm an Aussie and I was owned by a Red Cattle cross dog for 10 years called "Max".
Living in western NSW I had friends call me from other towns that were 200, 300 kms away telling me
Max was wandering around these towns and if I liked they bring him home .
He was jumping on other people's Utes (small trucks) and going for trips to other towns.
He was a beautiful dog , gone many years now.
I'm just glad that he made "me" his pet for all those years.
Dogs are the best people.
How you treat the voiceless speaks a volume!! Salute to this Great Nation!!
Boji is our friend as other animals. Love animal love the world. Greetings from Turkey 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
Thanks for treating these animals so well.. From India😇
I just wonder how many people are regularly bitten and killed by stray dogs in India 🤔
Thank you for all those who help rescue and / or have rescued animals ❣️🌸🙏
That's what turkey is meant for.... It's has a touch with the western architecture from ottoman empire.... Even a dog can roam freely on every kind of transport.... That's what it is meant for and that what it is.... Turkey is totally different from every kind of country compared to other countries of the same community...i think Egypt and some countries also fall in the same category....
Handsome, freedom loving dog. Awesome he can use ferries, busses and walk where he wants to! He looks well cared for!
Omg that is incredible!!! 🐕🥰 Thank you so much for sharing this video. It's beyond words and comprehension. I wonder if he's going to work or going to visit family :) Maybe he is a reincarnated person. So happy the country cares for him! Many blessings!

Boji is so laid back. And very smart. I like how he sometimes crosses his front legs. I've been watching every Boji video I can find.

Thank you dear people of Instanbul for the kindness shown to the strays out there....I wish I could share the responsibility of being there myself...

Every dog deserves to live his best life like this one, and bring joy to the world around him. Good boy!
Great story.
Boji picked a great city; one of my best trips. I hope the people take great care of him.
Istanbul seems to have one of, if not *the* most humane culture when it comes to ‘homeless’ cats and dogs! I’d live to visit and experience this culture firsthand!
I live in a place where it’s too cold, for many months of the year, for many animals to live outdoors.
But there are strict laws, that include very high fines too, for animals roaming free on the city streets. A very different culture that pressures people and animals to limit freedom.
Those animals are not homeless. Istanbul is there home. Free and fully accepted.
There are cat & dog houses to shelter street animals in many parts of the city. Built by people so animals can find safe shelter.
Someone developed a neat feeding system, too: dispose of an empty plastic bottle in a kind of kiosk, & some dog or cat food drops down into a feeding tray! There's also a section for water in the unit ... I gather these have become quite common now! Reduces plastic bottles being thrown on the ground, AND feeds street animals!
Just loved this.........Dogs are always loving..........thank u people of Istanbul....from India
👍👍👏👏👏
I think if people learn from this world's stray dog issues can be resolved upto a good extend. Give respect to them as they too have equal right in this world to live without hurting anyone. Hats off to the society and authorities.
He is travelling around the City of istanbul without pay for transportation. He is enjoying and comfortable in his life.Godbless u boggie doggie 🐶
He seemed happy, adventurous, carefree and most likely even clever than most typical dogs. But I just hope he's well fed though. Because his ribs were kind of jutting out during a close up shot.
Travels 30 km every day, cant get fat. There are lazy neighborhood dogs, those are usually fat.

We Turks care animals. Even the government and municipalities care them. There are plenty of volunteers to feed our stray friends too. If you visit here someday, you'll get what i wanna mean to you

Do not make a mistake, that was previous senior people habit, nowadays most of young people of Korea and china dislike to eat dog and cat, you can search it in youtube

I live in Antalya Turkey. Almost every park has cat, dog and bird houses. But because the weather is getting colder, stray dogs and cats can enter any store and sleep wherever they want. Or a dog can lie next to you while drinking coffee at Starbucks. The government collects and cares for stray animals, all their vaccinations are done, they are neutered and then they can walk freely again. There are recycling bins in many locations, glass plastic etc. When we throw it, it gives cat and dog food for street animals as a reward. Everyone like me buys food for street animals as well as their pets and puts it in front of their house. I don't know why this is considered so strange in other countries. They have the same right to live as we do. This world is big enough for everyone.
