I have a feeling in a couple years this dude is going to be a ridiculously talented TE for us.
He'd probably need 20 lbs, but I think you could be right
I hope you're both right.
@@walkingtheemmausroad4216 I love the idea
Lol he barely weighs 200 pounds. He's not a tight end yo.
his is foreshadowing for Kelce retirement, sad
but keep em TE coming, its chief way
I like how Andy isn't afraid to take risks and give people a chance ❤💛
I love this
@@tristengaudet1340 hi Tristen!!! ❤💛❤💛👑 I hope you had a good day!!
@@yvonne8786 always a good day still Super Bowl champions and Taylor releasing new album in April the ears tour is on Disney and Travis and Taylor looked so happy on vacation
How are you doing? @yvonne8786
I hope both of you guys have great days
@@Bryceyoung9fan happy Easter 🐣
Ruck on!!! Always love to see fellow Rugby players, play football!
I have a good friend who played semi-professional rugby, and he was an all-around athlete who definitely could have played football (as a running back, safety, or kicker, probably) I do question how well they'll handle big hits, though. Not having pads doesn't mean they can handle bigger hits or hit harder - in fact, it means the opposite - that they're limited in how hard they can hit.. and if it's not something you're used to, it's pretty jarring, and not easy to mentally adapt to or prepare for. I hope he does well. 🤞
@Frosty_tha_Snowman how does it mean they're limited in how hard they can hit?
@@AdamGordon1 because if they hit too hard, they'll just immediately break their own bones lol
@@Frosty_tha_Snowman no Frosty. No.
@@AdamGordon1 hits in Rugby are not like hits in the NFL. Having no pads incentivizes hitting flusher and with less brutality.
With the pads on in the NFL it taught players to think they can hit with ridiculous brutality. The idea the NFL has gotten softer is so wrong because this is still the case.
I'm so freaking stoked for this signing. Hes gunna be a stud. He knew the Chiefs was the right team to sign to
The chiefs are smart as fu*k! I love how they recruit and think outside the box💪🏼😉
Man, the Chiefs are just fun.
Louis already knows how to lateral! Hopefully he becomes a star! Chiefs Kingdom ❤❤❤❤❤💛💛💛💛💛
I'm sure him and kelce will have some fun
Can’t wait to see what this young man can do in the NFL
looking forward to seeing him become successful in the NFL
Rees Lightning 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
When i heard about him i wanted us to sign him
Veach has eyes for talent that’s for sure. That boy is going to break ankles and he’s going to fight for every yardage.
When I saw him make that one handed catch I knew he will be a beast let’s gooo chiefs kingdom
So gutted to see LRZ leaving the Welsh Jersey, best of luck to him, he's an absolute monster in attack
As a welsh family that love the chiefs, we’re very excited
He’s going to do big things for us I can bet my life on that 😂💪🏼🔥
Sure a practice squad player he will never see the field
@@user-lh9bu4np5t Ross was on our practice squad.. yet he saw the field. And he’s ass.
Make it make sense goofy 😂
Finna be a stud of a player an one of the best looking players 😂
Andy Reid and St. Louis Lee’s Summit about to reinvent the game of football!!
Chiefs came right on top of new kick off rules. Huge
Heck Yeaaaah! That's what I'm talking About! Outside the Box! Brilliant! I see some serious potential.
Chiefs4Lyfe!
Hell yeah. This guy’s gonna slay, I can tell.
This guy is gonna be fun.
All the best I hope to see him with ball in hand.hes picked as a ball carrier 🙌🏾
That's a cool story.
Man i hope this dude works out
It’s good that his dad played American football and he’s a fan. I feel like a big part of the struggle for rugby players is not really knowing much about football before trying to switch
The guy is a speedster stud. Rugby players are tough as nails. I expect nothing but greatness.
To the chiefs fans, trust me, this guy is much faster than 4.44. You’ll see
Yes. He is FAST.
Rugby players are no joke!
As a rugby player that moved to texas and was more or less forced to play football as well...its a completely different game and transitioning between the two is not an easy task. However, the vision that backs have in rugby (especially the back 3) is way way way above anything we've seen in professional football. He will be able to make plays if given the space and opportunity, unfortunately what i learned early on is...creating that space is very hard and requires a lot of effort to learn how to do it. I hope he is able to adapt and perform!
and, you’re not a professional, so 🤷♂️
@@wadewellesley411 i never claimed to be? My point was after playing both for a number of year (7 years simultaneously). I know how the general transition is, i also have played rugby with hundreds of football players that had to relearn skills that most rugby players consider basic. The same goes for rugby players to football. The skillset is there, but they need to relearn them for football applications. I standby everything i said: he is extremely talented, back 3 rugby players have the best vision in rugby and far above football players who never had to focus on space the same way rees or I would. Creating space in rugby is easier than football (way easier), while he learns to do all of the things required to play football at a high level he will probably have to make up a decade of experience and i hope he is able to transition quickly and efficiently because seeing him cut apart special teams and defenses like the 49ers rugby player years ago did would be awesome.
And if you disagree about these things, just remember the greatest return man said the reason he could do what he did was because the moment before he takes off he scans the field hesitates AND THEN makes his move. Rugby back 3 field around 10-20 kicks per game and have to do that every single time regardless of where the ball goes.
@dratah4615 LRZ is top level elite though. He was a British Lion by 20.
@@AdamGordon1He didn’t say he wasn’t elite, he just expressed that transitioning from Rugby to Football isn’t as simple as it may seem and then wished him the best.
@@AdamGordon1 Again, I never stated anything about Rees or how incredibly dominant he was in rugby. He was a professional rugby player at 18, Ive seen him play live many times. He is a beast. However, hundreds of thousands of experienced and talented football players don't make the NFL each year...They may not be as athletic as Rees is, but they are certainly more experienced and trained than he is in Football. The transitional period for him will be tough because he doesn't have a decade or more of game, practice, and culture experience of football that thousands of american players do. The difference however, is that Rees is young and able to transition, it just MAY take longer to do so and he may never make a 53 man roster. I have no doubt he can make a practice squad or XFL team, but the NFL is tough. I want him to succeed, but I am not going to say he will be a superstar in football just on the basis of his rugby skills. That would be absolutely wrong given the time and effort college players put into the sport just to never see an NFL team.
I can already see him and Kelce doing laterals to each other.
Yes, honestly I think NFl players should take a leaf out or that book. It would be fun and extend plays a lot.
This is just the type of receiver Mahomes needs. Question is, can he get open? The NFL is a steep learning curve for guys with div 1 experience. Not sure how long it’ll take a rugby player to catch on. But Mahomes needs a stable of 6’3” speedsters that can catch.
If he can catch he is fine with me
Don't worry we signed Hollywood Brown he has only like 5 drops in the past two seasons
@@thewhitetigerp1397 yeah ik im so excited to see him cook
@@thewhitetigerp1397and we gonna draft worthy
Right 😉😂
@@corbanricks9567 bro now rice gonna be in trouble😔
Not gonna lie, I love LRZ! I watched the NFLUK IPP series. I say that as an Eagles fan, Philly already has their LZR in Olympian Devon Allen, who gave up trying to go to Paris in 2024 to play in the NFL
Kansas City, treat my man Rees-Zammit with care, he's a legend. Also, kick returner will be perfect for him. It involves rugby skills that he mastered as a winger
This is very cool.
Bro looks more like te but honestly he could work as a gadget player
Now we’ll get to see how well someone who plays rugby can do In the nfl I’m sure he’ll be great
He was incredible for the Welsh National Rugby team, have fun even though I would prefer he was a Colt😂🏴
Let’s freaking go!!!
His success in the NFL is the NFL's success in a new European market
Definitely the coolest name across the back of any NFL jersey.
The Chiefs are acquiring multi position undefined players and changing the game strategy.
Problem is he's not shifty . If you watch him run and move he's going to have issues initially. I hope for the best . Awesome story ❤
I see a future Christian McCaffery in him...I can tell you Chiefs are going to use him in RPO or for double reverse wildcat or so...This guy will just run through.. He can be immediately useful in special teams and RPOs and red zone play
Brett Veach is smart and knows what he's doing. If he sees something in this kid then, I trust his judgement
He's got some wheels. 🏈🏹😆👍😆🏈
Let’s go!! ❤❤❤
How do you feel about the mock drafts having Xavier worthy going to us. Tyreek 2.0
4.43 40 at that size is really good
He’s no Christian Okoye, but I’ll give him a shot.
I don’t really like the chiefs but I gotta admit they give people chances who deserve it and I gotta respect that(btw if your wondering why I watch this channel it’s because this guy makes good content)
This was on CNN 10 and I kinda wanted him on my team.
Might be a good tight end to be added as Kelce is gettung closer to his end
Chiefs be signing Walmart cashiers and turning them into Super Bowl champs and allowing them to trick other teams to think they’re good and get signed a bag 💰then you got the chargers who sign Walmart cashiers and they end up getting cut after 1 season and end up being free agents or backups while the chiefs Walmart cashiers become starters😂
He going to cook
He runs funny on his toes 😂
Am I the only one who sees this 😂
If he can catch a football, it'll be a great addition.
Welcome to the franchise.
I like this! Good get!
He seems like a Taysom Hill type guy. I like it
People seem shocked, but I have a friend (Wooching) that played for the Huskies their championship year and he pursued his dream of playing rugby instead of in the NFL regardless of offers. He now plays for the USA National Team. I am personally excited to see this. 😁
Let’s go
I was abt to say he's 6ft he could be a very good back up for kelce and I'm glad are front office is giving this guy a chance I hope he dose well in the nfl and work his way up to hopefully be the #2 guy at te before kelce retires
Hes very undersized for that but mabye he could be more of a recieving only tight end?
He’s faster than hill
I didn’t even know rugby players could be signed
Anyone drafting this guy in their 1qb dynasty leagues?
Best wishes to hom
Special teams how much yall wanna bet he’s going to be a kicker
I Homestly Thought It Was The Waikato Cheifs 💀
I feel him playing back up to Isaiah Pacheco would be better with his speed and power, plus he'll need to learn the wr route tree anyway
LRZ better do well at the Chiefs those Welsh boys took a beating this year while he was scieving. (They lost 5 from 5 in the 6 nations and to give an idea how bad that is, they won 5/5 in 2019).
Let's Go! Three-pete!
he appears to have the talent to easily transition from rugby to NFL football and if that happens, all I can say is watch out nfl defenses!
I can already see it...... Mahomes pass to Kelce, Kelce turns around n bounces the ball on the ground, this dude scoops & scores like a rugby play 😂😂😂😂
this is foreshadowing for Kelce retirement, sad
but keep em TE coming, its chief way
The way he was moving I assumed he was smaller then 6,3 and hovering around 190….
A combination of Christian McCaffrey & Derrick Henry(length).
Him and marquise brown would be a good wr duo
W! I’m a big kc fan
always great to seeing the game of football becoming more international
He just needs one decent block on an end around sweep and who knows....
This is the time of year people get stoked over guys who will be lucky to make the team on special teams kick coverage…
It’s crazy how a rugby star can become an nfl star like nothing
It’s over chief’s win Super Bowl again
Threepeat yassssss!
Welcome to Kelce's replacement when he retires!!!
They got a guy for Kelce to lateral to…😂
Chiefs are hiring good looking men! Tranquil then this guy? Dang!
You can’t give someone a nickname that’s already someone else’s
Nah him with mahomes about to be crazy
Can you do a video of it
This is interesting
He’s gonna be a halfback
If he’s 6’3 then I’m 6’10 lol
Damn the chiefs need receivers so bad that their getting players from another sport
A Welsh McCaffrey?
Well He's Fast, He's Tough...Ok
Wow !!! 😂😂😂😂 I guess we'll see huh ?
Not really anything that could go wrong with signings like these
Kelce brothers and ex rugby player teammates...cool
