My pilot hubby just sent this to me after he was impressed with the commercial and bought a shirt! I posted to a few pilot wives’ groups and many of them are getting shirts too! Kudos to the writer(s) of the commercial!
Just got two shirts in and they fit great! I'm a thin guy and the slim cut fits perfectly. I have only two real gripes though, right off the bat: 1. The material is pretty shear - that is it's pretty easy to see through the shirt and even though it's not a cheap shirt, can cheapen the look. Even if it was just the sleeves that were a tad thicker, I'd say it might be the best work shirt there is. 2. The collar needs a bit more padding inside. I'm used to uh... You know... The other shirt and that is BY FAR the best feature. Just bump up the padding and you have a winner. I've seen/heard other pilots say they'd prefer to have a velcro pocket, and that would be nice, but I don't use them since others can always see whatever is in the pocket (refer to point 1) and I honestly am the type to keep all my equipment in sight, rather than just in reach. Also, I opened the shirts while on the road and out of the packaging, they're pretty wrinkled. Would be nice to include a card that says "hey just steam it with an iron and you're good". I'll probably buy more as long as the company keeps sending me to places that make me sweat! Keep it up. Oh, and make a women's cut. Come on...
Great job! It was an honor to be in a commercial with such a high quality and amazing product! I didn’t even needed to act when I did throw the juice on the shirt! I was genuinely surprised! And attention to the fact that we had to repeat the throwing several times to get the shot used in this commercial, and it worked every single time! The brand definitely got my respect and admiration! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Thanks for the opportunity to be part of it.
Haha the struggle is real! Although the original blue shirts appear to actually be showing up much faster than before. They just still fit like a circus tent though...
This commercial was hilarious- I'd give them a try if they had more customizable options, like the torso reduction that a competitor has. I didn't see any options for someone with a 10" shoulder to waist drop. I'm guessing the actor's shirt was not one of the available sizes.
You say you have lots of options, but you're even worse off than the current king of the hill, A Cut Above. You only have two cut options, shmedium and douchebag. Lol. Some of us need a full cut, but hate wearing the circus tent shirt that is the Van Heusen. Add a full cut to the list por favor!
Way too much drama. Times have already changed…and for the better. We don’t need to make male or female pilots, just good pilots. Work hard, study hard, make good decisions.
@@fuelflownormal agreed. I am an airline pilot. Making sure there are not barriers for women entering the field is part of ensuring that all good pilots have an equal shot. Such as being able to purchase uniforms.
I bought 16 shirts in total but after a year THEY WENT ALL Dull and cannot get them white again. Have sent emails to help me with problem no response to date. Had a email from customer follow up to confirm how service was delivered but i iterated no response to my problem to date nearly 1 month now. Not good back up service and not being the cheapest i expected better back up service .Will not recommend due to poor after care !!!!!!!

Thanks so much! The actor's was in fact our Large Slim Fit with no tailoring or adapting - just straight off the rack!
