Hopefully this tutorial covered some of the basics. All links will be listed below in order to the videos order. If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment below. Also if you want Dolphin to save your rom folder location, select browse and choose your rom folder to save your games and feature them together like mine did.

Winrar is free, there’s a 30-day trial but it’s basically useless as you can open the program whenever you want

When I extract the Game It creates another one of its self but does not show up in dolphin

So, I’m having an issue. Not only does extracting the files and trying to use them not work for Dolphin, whenever I download something, let’s just say an emulator for Xbox games. It for some unknown reason downloads as something for dolphin and I have no idea how to stop it.
For some reason when I download roms, emuparadise, I get an error saying when I double click saying file is corrupted. When I do the double click in dolphin, it doesnt show up. But when I like file, open then the folder i have the games, they are there and I can open and play them, but it doesnt show up on the dolphin. Which is weird cause on an old computer i didnt have this issue with dolphin
Whenever I download the Dolphin version, I get a 7z file that I can't extract or do anything with, I don't know how to get it as a zip file

Dolphin is by far the easiest disc based emulator to set up for. No need to configure any bios or any of that shit like on the ps2 or dreamcast.
( using an XBOX ONE CONTROLLER ) Connected via USB. On Dolphin, it shows Everything Moving / Detected. Save / Load still it shows Everything Moving / Detected.
Load (Load In Shadow ) and only The Keyboard & Mouse works :( Any suggestions would be Greatly Appreciated :)

How do you set up your save folders and different saves for multiple games? I was playing Wind Waker they other day, yesterday I went to play a new game and it completely wiped the WW save. It overwrote or something. Do you have to create multiple saves for each game?

How do you make the shortcut of the iso in dolphin? Like so when you want to open the game, you don't have to search for it, it's right there when you open dolphin.
I downloaded my rom from "roms mania" and whenever I try to extract it it says "Cannot open (the rom)" and when I try to open it directly it says "The archive is corrupt" plz help

This is two years ago and you probably gave up or done this already but you want to put you games/roms in a folder and path that folder into dolphin. I think you can find this in configurations in dolphin.

I seriously need help I just downloaded Zelda twilight princess and it shows up in my files as a dolphins game but clicking on it brings up some random screen with some code jibberjabber I don't get and I'm just wondering why dolphins won't actually recognize it as a game and just play it

DOPEROMS.com doesn't work for me. it keeps sending me to another page whenever I click anything. None of the roms I look up even show.

I have all my games saved to a folder and when I go to open on dolphin then click on the file with the games there are no games there. Yes they are all iso files
just wondering, but couldn't you have the rom files in the dolphin folder? Would that change anything?

So, I myself am trying to play Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, and my problem is getting the rom to work. I had to download it in 3 parts from the site I found it at (it was probably the best place I could find) and I was told to extract only the first part. these files start as simple RAR files and when they're extracted, WinRAR archives. It won't let me extract further. Help?

I'm Getting an error stating MSVCP140.dlll is missing from my computer. Does anyone know what it is / how to fix it?
+Thomas Field It'll usually be one file missing after another. Mine said it was missing XINPUT1_3.dll. I installed it and it fixed the problem but another one came up shortly and I'm still trying to figure it out. But you should be able to download and install it into your comupter

Umm, I tried to install super mario sunshine and the screen keeps flickering and going to black and white, it plays the audio fine, but all the textures are all screwed up, what do i do?

+KICKASS4272 I believe you need to click "browse" up at the top, select the folder in which your saving your roms in, and then click "refresh" at the top to show the games in a directory. I don't know if this is 100% correct, let me know :P
So for some reason it wont show up using the browse option but when i use file -> open it shows up. Not sure what could be causing that.

+Andrej Milas You can get wii games for dolphin emulator but the setup is slightly different. I'm not sure why.

Works in game like little menus and prompts that come up are missing words
+Devin Giles (Adventuretimeyay) If the menus that come up are missing words there is a good chance that you may have downloaded a corrupt rom/version of the game. Try looking around for another version of the game on a different site. That is the best I could tell you. Hope this helps anyways :c

You forgot about Wii games. There are no Wii game roms, only ISO.

Whenever i extract it creates a gmc file and whenever i try to rename it to a iso file it becomes corrupt and it won't allow me to play

+SamuelCish It looks like they got rid of the gamecube directory on Dope Roms, but you can still search a specific game for gamecube and you should be able to find it on there. Let me know if you need any help!
ult1mate Gaming Nintendo had the Zelda games removed. Disappointing. Once a game is a couple generations old and is off the market, we should be allowed to download it.
