Chocolate syrup recipe: in a saucepan,1 cup allulose, 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/3 cup water. Pinch of salt. Stir continously over medium heat until no longer grainy add a spash of vanilla. Store in a pint jar. 😋
I just made some Chocolate ice cream yesterday with low carb chocolate chips (nonsweet), macadamia nuts and a few pistachios. (Macadamia nuts are lower carb than Pistachios). It is amazing. 1 cup of whipping cream per two egg YOLKS (I put 2 cups of heavy whipping cream with 4 egg yolks), a dash of salt, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp maple extract ... use mixer in stainless steel bowel inside bigger bowl with ice. start without the chips or nuts and only cream and egg yolks and vanilla/maple extracts and dash of salt Once it thickens a bit mixing it, put in freezer about 30 minutes Take out and mix again since it will have ice crystals. Toss in the chips and nuts at this point since it will be thick enough so they won't sink to the bottom. Enjoy!! I thought that afternoon, what if I mixed the organic Cocoa powder with allulose as a sprinkle on top. I did not do that, but will likely try it. The syrup idea sounds good too. Thanks!!
I just prepared that one for my girlfriend. She thanks you a 1000 times and wishes you and your family a wonderful and happy life! Unfortunately, I can eat it only in 2 days. I am on my 2nd day of sardine fast, but I am looking forward to enjoy it with a nice ice cream.
So the first time I ate ice cream sweetened with Allulose, I got a little queasy. Just like most people do when they start Wegovy or Ozempic! The more I’ve studied Allulose the bigger a fan I have become. I have it in my coffee in the morning, and it kills my appetite!💜🌸💜

The thing about allulose is that because it stimulates GLP-1, you really don't get the binge sugar cravings like you do with fructose or sugar. It's such a great alternative and actually curbs cravings. There's so much research on this now. Eliminating sweets is great, but with a family, social activities, and people who find that harder, it's a perfect alternative to keep people on track.

If you stay away from sweets long enough your cravings for them would go away, that's what happened to me. I can walk into a pastry shop and not be tempted by any cake or ice cream on display

I, too, just started making a new recipe for homemade ice cream using heavy whipping cream, powdered allulose, egg yolks, and vanilla bean paste. But the secret ingredient for keeping homemade ice cream soft so you can scoop it after it has been in the freezer is to add LIQUID allulose! Oh Dr. Boz you have been missing out with dirty keto! Yeah I’m a girl that I’d rather eat as my entire meal - you guessed it - dessert! But I’ve been eating keto going on 7-8 years now. That being said, I do agree that intermittent fasting has to be built into keto. I usually eat 1 meal a day, with maybe that other time of eating, if I eat - it’s usually a protein shake instead because I really do work hard to try and get that 100 grams of protein a day. Do I probably succeed? Not on a daily basis. And I’d rather have one of my good quality keto desserts in place of my meal in stead of my “meal”. My dinner last night was an awesome homemade grilled cheese sandwich using a keto bread with butter, white cheddar, fresh raspberries that I used a touch of sugar free honey, a thin layer of strawberry jam (keto) all grilled up and it was delicious and filling! I then made a tumeric chai spiced homemade milk using 50/50 blend whole milk and macadamia milk sweetened with stevia. It was also very good. And I was done for the day. I’ve 5 more lbs to go to get to my goal weight of 108 lbs and I’m planning on getting on HRT here soon as menopause has been a big challenge for me - that’s a long story!
Your remark about the taste of saline cracked me up! This is a mouse study so they are probably delivering allulose and saline by gavage and not via their drinking water so they can get a known volume and dose at specific time points; therefore, any taste aversion is not an issue. 😊
Dr Boz, what are your ketones on this? I made some keto ice cream using allulose this week as a NYE treat. My glucose readings dropped into the 70s, but my ketone readings went to 0.
Dr berg says any taste of sweet real or artificial has a cascade of problems but I can’t remember what they were. I watched him over the summer. I found any sweet taste knocked me out of ketosis.
I use 90 grams of heavy cream and 10 gr of cacao powder, I use a handheld whisk frother, until the heavy cream becomes whip cream (approx 1 minute) and then I leave it 10-15 min in the freezer.
I'm 74, eat a mostly meat based diet (20 or less carbs/day),former T2DB, still somewhat insulin resistant, get kidney stones occasionally, started using allulose in coffee to block fructose, lower uric acid. I found my slight incontinence issue became a larger problem. This lessened again when I stopped using allulose. I have the same problem with stevia increasing incontinence. Never heard anyone else mention this issue.
I’m new at intermittent fasting at 71. Ive been doing 16-8 routine almost daily for a few weeks so far I’m ok. How often do you fast per week and for how long Dr. Boz?
Question 🙋♀️ my husband wants us to go back keto. However, I’m wondering if it’s safe for our 3/ almost 4 yo. I’ve read online that it isn’t, but not sure if they’re considering all the vegetables that we eat. We get plenty of veggies just not starches
We make ice cream at home with a machine with a compressor (1 cup of whipping cream, 1 cup water 1/4 cup egg yolk powder, salt, allulose and flavoring to taste). It does stay softer! We may try adding whey protein in a future version. Questio: does keto ice cream with allulose raise insulin?
How much potatsium and sodium extra do you add per day? I always have problem with double heartbeats, and cramp on my legs when I cut carbs. Even if I tried be without for 3 months, and also adding sodium and potasium, I still get double hearbeats and have no power in my legs.
I am very interested in the added benefits of Allulose in a Ketovore lifestyle. How much should I use? Should I spread it out throughout the day. Are you concerned about the carbohydrate count in Allulose? 🥰
I wondered about that too...I add strawberries to plain yogurt, and you can taste the sweetness...Also, if she is doing keto, no sugar, you would think her tastebuds would be extra sensitive to the sweetness of sugar that the strawberries would be enough...
Whats your take on grassfed? Is there a massive difference in omega 3 vs grain fed? And is it even that significant of a difference that you'd want to only eat grassfed vs grainfed?
I tried a bit of the recipe. It tastes good, but gave me some really bad time in the bathroom. Several times ... if you know what I mean. It also made me bloated. I guess, my body doesn't like Allulose. How can you eat the whole thing of ice and don't end occupying the toilet for hours?
If only Allulose wasn't banned in the UK !!. We're no longer in the EU thank goodness but our politicians HATE being out and so are criminally slow at changing anything and now with a Labour Government they'll be trying to get back in. It's very expensive to import but iHerb and some others are reasonable.
It's not banned. It just hasn't been approved yet. They did the same process for stevia and yes, monk fruit. As of last year, monk fruit still wasn't allowed in products in the UK, just as a table top sweetener. The number of studies on allulose now are helping the process along. But, it's still a process.
Hi I’ve been watching your videos for a while, you are one of the people that got me started into Keto, my questions is if you consume carbs and sugars while on keto is it really dangerous because then all that fat will get accumulated in your coronary arteries, subcutaneous tissue and liver, and basically you are doing more harm than good , and of course you won’t be in ketosis anymore obviously but I should stop eating fats then right simply because of not being in ketosis.
First off, people absolutely need to count actual carbs, not net. I take in 5 grams of carbs, 900 calories, and put in 21,000 steps a day and you drop weight extremely quickly.
You don't need to be on a low-carb diet based on your description. Every mile is about 100 or more calories and 21,000 steps is about 9 MI so as soon as you've finished walking you've pretty much burned all the calories you've consumed and the rest of the day is gravy. However most people probably can't spend over 2 hours walking per day

Fasting blood sugar can go up due to reduced insulin in your system. It isn’t a problem. If it was your body would release more insulin to reduce the glucose. Trust the systems. LDL usually goes up for leaner people. It’s just a different energy system being used. The more you fast the higher your LDL goes. That tells you it’s what your body needs - trust the body systems, not the doctors. Get off the seeds. They’re full of plant defense chemicals. Oxylates/lectins are just the ones we know about.

So what about kidney disease patients with this ice cream? How does allulose function with kidney disease. Generally the dairy is a problem as far as phosphorus... What does the allulose off set that by chance!???
Well, I do a lot of high intensity aerobics with my handcycle attachment and need an energy boost, so my blood sugar levels don't get too low...The medical community says if you see "stars" while exercising, you need to eat some sugar/carbs...That is why long-distance runners eat pasta before a race...Keto is great but you have to have balance in your life...I wonder why you didn't add xylitol instead of the sugar substitute you used...It doesn't raise blood sugar levels, and you can get it in chewing gum form to strengthen your teeth...
Allulose. You know how it's made? Ask Perplexity. Words like: 'magnetic MOF nanoparticles', 'sophisticated technologies', 'synthetic biology', 'polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) nano-beads as stable biocatalysts' pop-up. Don't know about you, but it doesn't really sound like a whole food to me, the one that granny used eat. Sounds more like super duper highly processed. Especially made in China, just like the Wuhanflu, exclusively for the US consumers because it 's not available in the EU. Makes you wonder, no?😅
What do you think of the" Don't Die" guy? The billionaire that's trying to live to atless 150 years. He's a vegan and has spent over 2 million a year on research.

"ALL" these Keto Friendly Sweeteners ? Xylitol - Reduces the amount of bacteria in your mouth that produce acid by up to 90%, Prevents bacteria from sticking to your teeth, which reduces plaque Raises saliva pH, prevents acid from forming, stimulates saliva production, which helps repair damaged enamel and remineralize teeth

Will you share the 4-hour podcast? Thanks in advance ❤
Your remark about the taste of saline cracked me up! This is a mouse study so they are probably delivering allulose and saline by gavage and not via their drinking water so they can get a known volume and dose at specific time points; therefore, any taste aversion is not an issue. 😊
Where is Dr. Boz’s recipe for carnivore ice cream?
You can guess how I celebrate National Ice Cream Day. For anyone interested, it’s always the third Sunday in July…! 😅 🍨
Try some liquid allulose to keep it creamy. It's wonderful.
I’ve been making and eating carnivore ice cream. Delish!!
What’s in it?
@ look up beef and butter gal carnivore ice cream. It’s eggs, cream, salt. You can add vanilla if you choose.
I was having trouble maintaining weight after becoming fat adapted so I started making pumpkin creme brûlée with allulose and mung fruit.
Can you share that recipe plz? Lots of pumkin around here. Thanks
Recipe, please
Can you share receipe for the chocolate flavor also or any others please. Thanks !!
Dr Boz, what are your ketones on this? I made some keto ice cream using allulose this week as a NYE treat. My glucose readings dropped into the 70s, but my ketone readings went to 0.
Interesting.
Dr berg says any taste of sweet real or artificial has a cascade of problems but I can’t remember what they were. I watched him over the summer. I found any sweet taste knocked me out of ketosis.
She also included exogenous ketones so that would effect her ketone level right?
I was getting the runs from allulose initially. That has improved, however, I still get a little abdominal discomfort. I find it tolerable.
Totally true for me to, it's the most uncomfortable reaction of all the sweeteners I've tried.
KETO KAELIN ... it's funny that OJ was dead shortly after and Kato was back in the news after a long hiatus ... 😂😂
i love your videos. Subscribed!!
my ice cream is heavy cream with cacao powder, that's it, delicious! why sweeten it?
Can you share the recipe? And process?
I use 90 grams of heavy cream and 10 gr of cacao powder, I use a handheld whisk frother, until the heavy cream becomes whip cream (approx 1 minute) and then I leave it 10-15 min in the freezer.
@@DorotheaGem thank you so much, no sweetener?
Cacao is so bitter
@@DorotheaGem hi 👋 pretty lady how are you doing today and the weather condition like?
Thanks! Can you make a video for yeast candida overgrown?
Thanks Doc. Good talk
Good to know. Thanks for sharing this insight.
I’m new at intermittent fasting at 71. Ive been doing 16-8 routine almost daily for a few weeks so far I’m ok. How often do you fast per week and for how long Dr. Boz?
Allulose gives me the worst gut issues. Like days of gas. I can only tolerate stevia.
Question 🙋♀️ my husband wants us to go back keto. However, I’m wondering if it’s safe for our 3/ almost 4 yo. I’ve read online that it isn’t, but not sure if they’re considering all the vegetables that we eat. We get plenty of veggies just not starches
Gettin a little ""Chirpy" when hangry is a Game Changer ! Lol...thanks Dr.
This ended before you finished?????
How much potatsium and sodium extra do you add per day?
I always have problem with double heartbeats, and cramp on my legs when I cut carbs. Even if I tried be without for 3 months, and also adding sodium and potasium, I still get double hearbeats and have no power in my legs.
I am very interested in the added benefits of Allulose in a Ketovore lifestyle. How much should I use? Should I spread it out throughout the day. Are you concerned about the carbohydrate count in Allulose? 🥰
1 cup of Coconut milk 13 grams of carbs
1 cup of heavy cream 9 grams of carbs
...according to Google AI
She may be using the carton coconut milk (similar to almond milk) not the canned coconut milk/cream.
Why add allulose? Don't the strawberries have enough natural sugar in them?
I wondered about that too...I add strawberries to plain yogurt, and you can taste the sweetness...Also, if she is doing keto, no sugar, you would think her tastebuds would be extra sensitive to the sweetness of sugar that the strawberries would be enough...
Since the majority of the video's about the glp-1 effect of allulose...
Whats your take on grassfed? Is there a massive difference in omega 3 vs grain fed? And is it even that significant of a difference that you'd want to only eat grassfed vs grainfed?
I think I'll have this one on the house ... 😂😂 ... 🐟🐟🌪️🌪️🏡😂😂
ZOBBO
😂😂
Is this part of a longer video or livestream?
Nice way to derail those attempting to overcome their “creamy sweet” addiction.
Yay! At last! 😂🎉
Hi doc ❤ how do you get rid of puffy eyes
Sardine flavor would be nice.
That's what I was thinking lol
4 years zero carb. 7 days fasts are easy. Snacking just makes things difficult if not impossible.
If only Allulose wasn't banned in the UK !!. We're no longer in the EU thank goodness but our politicians HATE being out and so are criminally slow at changing anything and now with a Labour Government they'll be trying to get back in. It's very expensive to import but iHerb and some others are reasonable.
Why is it banned???
I buy allulose on eBay UK
It's not banned. It just hasn't been approved yet. They did the same process for stevia and yes, monk fruit. As of last year, monk fruit still wasn't allowed in products in the UK, just as a table top sweetener. The number of studies on allulose now are helping the process along. But, it's still a process.
At 8:52 you state that you put strawberries in it but the notes say raspberries, which is it? Or is it optional?
No Allulose in Canada sadly
How much lemon should I add if I don’t have pucker up?
Is it sardine ice cream? 😂😍
😆 🤣
Hi I’ve been watching your videos for a while, you are one of the people that got me started into Keto, my questions is if you consume carbs and sugars while on keto is it really dangerous because then all that fat will get accumulated in your coronary arteries, subcutaneous tissue and liver, and basically you are doing more harm than good , and of course you won’t be in ketosis anymore obviously but I should stop eating fats then right simply because of not being in ketosis.
Would be good to have a link to recipes and daily food guide to start driving the change guidance and reduce and get healthy …
Check out the description for this video. You may find what you’re seeking.
I can't do heavy cream (or other dairy) except butter.
Don't need ice cream though so all's good :-0)
Still no allulose permitted in Europe 😭😭
I bought allulose. So how much should I have daily to get the good effects?
I add a little to my coffee in the morning & also to my water throughout the day. It’s not as sweet as many of the other keto sweeteners.
@lisacee3237 thank you
First off, people absolutely need to count actual carbs, not net.
However most people probably can't spend over 2 hours walking per day
How about just freezing some full cream, and stay off the addiction of sweets.

You absolutely have to bust up the routine because your body anticipates your rhythm
@wirelessone2986 thank you so you mean I should add variation to my activities?
@abdulwali7578 There are ways to do a cheat day...one is stay Keto/carnivore but eat outside your fasting window however you decide, the next is have a carb cheat day...I dont recommend the latter until you have reached your ideal weight.Dont eat high fat and carbs on a carb cheat day oryou will put on weight super fast
Doctor, why am I having glicemie lower after eating than before? I have just starter doing keto
Can you make the ice cream without the cremini maker?
Yeah I'd love to know too
I just use my Cuisinart ice cream maker for my ice cream recipe. Takes about 25-30 minutes. I've never used a cremini maker.
BUT is there any simmilar recipe without "powders" ? please!!!!
Yes I use whole eggs and liquid egg whites. No dairy products. In my Ninja and freeze.

Hi Dr. Boz. I am a new follower. I was wondering, is there any particular specifications for a good glucometer to get? Thabk you very much for your advice
Did I miss the recipe?
check the description!
What do you think of Cardiologist Dr Alo stating keto/ carnivore both are extremely dangerous for clotting arteries?
Dude is aJ0KE...
He’s a fool
Blaming real food for what sugar and vegetable oils are doing? He's stuck in the 90's.
How much allulose much for 190 lb. Male? Is it 28.6 grams or 9.5 1/4 teaspoons???
I love Keto brand, butter pecan ice cream.... does not affect my BSs, and when I need a fix, it's legit! 🎉
I use dates to sweeten cranberry jam 'sauce' and sometimes I use honey, well-known sweeteners I feel safe using. Allulose, not so sure yet...will have to do more research and still might not.
Dates and honey are full of fructose !
So what about kidney disease patients with this ice cream?
How does allulose function with kidney disease.
Generally the dairy is a problem as far as phosphorus... What does the allulose off set that by chance!???
Oh I'm glad to hear you used coconut milk... I think that might resolve my kidney issue is you can use other milks...
That ice cream is almost as sweet as Dr. Boz!
not for me, lol, but a big hot creamy coffee, yeeeeeessssss
Well, any fermented milk, like sour cream, yogurt, kefir with allulose become tasty. No spikes
Well, I do a lot of high intensity aerobics with my handcycle attachment and need an energy boost, so my blood sugar levels don't get too low...The medical community says if you see "stars" while exercising, you need to eat some sugar/carbs...That is why long-distance runners eat pasta before a race...Keto is great but you have to have balance in your life...I wonder why you didn't add xylitol instead of the sugar substitute you used...It doesn't raise blood sugar levels, and you can get it in chewing gum form to strengthen your teeth...
have you been listening to Rhonda Patrick's found my fitness?
Makes you wonder, no?😅
What is “BHB”? Please and thank you.😊
Just Google it. It is a ketone.
Beta-hidroxybutyrate, a ketone, indeed.
Homemade keto ice cream is best
What do you think of the" Don't Die" guy? The billionaire that's trying to live to atless 150 years. He's a vegan and has spent over 2 million a year on research.
Hi Dr Boz are you open for business yet? Wanna bring my mom to see if you can help her.
An often overlooked consequence of all these keto-friendly sweeteners is potential harmful side effects of mouth health and particular promoting gum problem in the future.😢
"ALL" these Keto Friendly Sweeteners ?
Xylitol - Reduces the amount of bacteria in your mouth that produce acid by up to 90%, Prevents bacteria from sticking to your teeth, which reduces plaque
Raises saliva pH, prevents acid from forming, stimulates saliva production, which helps repair damaged enamel and remineralize teeth
This is one of the most confusing video I think I’ve ever seen. So much excitement, but no complete thoughts. The weight charts useless without explanation. Is Rx sugar pure allulose? Are you suggesting that a 190 lb person eat approx a half cup of allulose per sitting (1g/kg)? Or, 3 times that? This is the first video you’ve posted that I didn’t 100% understand at first watch. Was this excerpts of a longer video?
Too bad allulose isn't available in Sweden...
Can/ fast morethan, 24 hours and >intermittentfasting..i hate fasting,
January is 'World Carnivore Month', and I am in, so this ice cream doesn't fit for me! [and dairy makes it harder, so I'm trying to avoid it] But thanks for sharing.
Try making it with whole eggs and butter if that’s is allowed in your carnivore diet. Add some instant espresso. Buttered Coffee Ice Cream.
I got the smaller, 16oz Ninja a couple of months ago and have been experimenting with it.
Most of what I've been doing lately is
2oz cream cheese
12oz almond or coconut milk
1t vanilla
2-3T allulose
1 scoop Prime Protein powder
Mix with a stick blender
Choc, vanilla, and strawberry are all good. Vanilla is also a great base for other flavors like butter pecan, peppermint, adding instant coffee, etc.
allulose is glycating, so not conequence free
