Sure are some nice vans at Todds and plenty of time to look around them. The slim or compact coachbuilt vans are available from a lot of manufacturers now which must mean they have become a popular option. Nice video Bob 😃🚐💙 Trev n Sue
Well done Bob a great video as ever I do like those compact coach built motorhomes a bit wider than van conversion but probably easier to drive than a full coach built I think the swift is my favourite looks nicer finished off than the auto trail and prefer the drop down bed Hope you and Jenny are keeping well Daniel
Great review as usual Bob. I love the Ford cabs. The driving position is very ergonomic and well laid out. I’m always wondering why the blinds seem the wrong way round. I want to pull the blackout part from the top to eliminate glare from the sun but the always seem to be the other way round? I suppose there is a good reason for this.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo I was meaning the cassette blinds on the side and back. The blackout part comes up where as I think it would be better coming from the top so it could shade the sun out.
Hi Bob, Like the look of the 2 Auto trails on the Ford with an automatic gearbox. Do you know whether the sat-navs can be programmed with the dimensions of the motorhome?
Hi Bob. Interesting that those AT Ford Automatic vans have a GTW of 4500kg and 1000kg towing. Watching your Adamo series they only have GTW 4250kg and a 750kg towing. The consensus was that the Ford Automatic Gearbox was the 750kg towing restriction? I wonder how AT got their vans approved for GTW of 4500kg? It has to be the chassis? I know this is one reason you went for another Swift in Automatic guise.
Thank you, enjoyed that. I like them all especially the drop down bed one.

Oh I do love the first van you looked at Bob. 😊
Yes, they were all nice motorhomes.

I think the blind cassette would obscure the drivers view if it were at the top.

Hi Bob,

The Auto-trail website says they come with Motorhome specific sat nav.

It gets very confusing, but 1000kg towing us still not enough for our VW Up!
Why do front skylights on Motorhome open and in caravans they don’t
We had one on the Bolero that didn't open. i'd prefer if they didn't, less potential for whistles when driving.
