Remember not to overpack because even thought the cruise wont weigh or charge you for extra luggage the airline will so if you have to fly to the cruise port pack enough in a carry on if possible just in case baggage is lost or late and you have to catch your cruise. I have cruised over 30 times so i know a lil something.
My family and I just back from a cruise last weekend on the Icon of the Seas. It was not great. I have a near 4 yr old and a 21 month old, we specifically choose these ship because we thought it was family friendly it really wasn’t for our younger child. Biggest ship in the world and non potty trained kids are only allowed in small splash pad area for water fun no pools nothing, and my daughter who is potty trained kid wasn’t allowed. So we couldn’t even play in the water together as a family. Then my youngest got hand, food, and mouth and was quarantined to the room. And we hit bad weather for the last few days and didn’t get to go to the private island 😢. If you have small kids I don’t recommend cruising.
Oh no! I’m sorry! The only cruises I’ve heard are great with kids are the Disney cruises but I haven’t been on one myself. I’m sorry you had a disappointing time! ❤️

Such a pity - I really liked your channel and most of your suggestions, but I didn't trust my eyes now: you are promoting a cruise, one of the most ecologically harmful ways to travel! Your biggest problem ist what to wear, not what you do to the environment. Especially as a mother of young children you might take into consideration to contribute to a better future for this planet and the generations to come (or not...) This is for sure not by cruising. Obviously you are not even interested in the different destinations. Instead you suggest to stay on board and hang around: well, this you can do also in a good hotel, not on a swimming behemoth which is powered by huge quantities of diesel, which not only have an impact on marine life, but also on the air on land and sea. Maybe you could rethink this issue: Cruising nowadays is not chic and glamorous, but hazardous and selfish.
