I have to say Josephine, you have completely changed the way I look at fragrances. These incredibly intoxicating special perfumes just elevate your entire day. They are transporting and mood/confidence boosting. It’s a whole new level of enjoyment of perfumes. I recently got a decant of lune feline and it’s just incredible! Like yes! chef’s kiss* I couldn’t agree more. It’s just the most perfect and interesting vanilla to me. I also own Aerin Hibiscus Palm based on your recommendation, and I love that one so much! I am really interested in trying Gris charnel next. You had me at cardamom! Thank you so much for all of these top notch recommendations!
My faves and staples😀: Diptyque - Eau Duelle, Frederic Malle - Eau De Magnolia, Aerin - Hibiscus Palm, Escentric Molecules - Molecule #1, Byredo - Gypsy Water 😀 I have a lot of others too, but I would go on forever. So these are my top picks 🙌🏼

Good to know unique and original fragrances to gift. I owe you Scherzo and the curious thing is that on my skin the oud is the more predominant note and the rose and sweet notes are secondary, incredible elegant and sophisticated fragrance. Thanks for the video!!!

Love the list! I love how you have BDK Gris charnel in the list! However, if you are a male you can totally rock this as well. I am a school teacher and a male. I wore this beautiful fragrance this past week and to be honest it was totally for myself. I wasn’t trying to get compliments or attention. I just truly love this fragrance. I was in the middle of teaching when I had another teacher knock on my door. She told me that she smelt something in the hallways and followed it directly to my room and asked if I was the one who smelt so amazing! I was shocked because I honestly went nose blind to it. I only sprayed 6-10 times. Just a cool story about this fragrance and to let the guys know don’t be afraid to wear this fragrance!
I totally agree. I love it myself. I have tried it just out of curiosity and it reminded me of Frapin IF by R.K. I have tried IF a few months early and really enjoyed it and then I have found Gris Charnel. Gris Charnel is more rounded in my opinion and I enjoy it a bit more. But if you use both of them you get a really good combination. My gf was really astonished since they have smelled so good together.
I've received numerous compliments on Gris Charnel as well! It's one of those fragrances that I was really taken aback by when I first smelled it. I just had to sit with it for a minute!

In the US, Rouge Malachite is randomly available at Bloomie's, Neiman's, and Berdorf's online. It sells out in 2.5 seconds, but it does exist!

Your engagement ring is beautiful. 😍 my favorite notes are figs and black tea, cardamom, and pistachio. I also love a good vanilla, and the smell of fresh peeled clementine. Also salty breeze, cold beach scents, and grapefruit. Omg, also forgot, tuberose. The stinky creamy goodness.
Edit: forgot! Rice notes. Preferably with milk.

Hi Josephine! Splendid video as always! However, I really want to recommend Xerjoff Starlight from the Shooting Stars collection. Have you ever smelt it in your life or not yet? I know you have already sworn to never buy fragrances from Xerjoff because of their crappy delivery system but this particular frag is bomb af! Realistic cardamom with hints of almonds, cloves, cinnamon, and cedarwood. It is so comforting and very well blended. I think you'll like it given your penchant for everything cardamom. Please try it 😭 I would love to know your reaction.

On this list I’ve tried and bought 3 because of you! (Travel of Hibiscus Palm and Vanilla Vibes, and a full Rouge Malachite because it is hard to come by in the U.S. right now.) I also want to try Lune Feline, Gris Charnel and Scherzo. Most of my lifers are coincidentally discontinued 😫Balenciaga Florabotanica and B., and YSL Manifesto. Also need Issey Miyake L’eau de Issey or Jo Malone Osmanthus Blossom, and will be adding full bottles of Delina Exclusif, Gentle Fluidity Gold, and Aqua Universalis forte at some point which are all loves. Need some woodier and spicy /sweet winter ones but not sure MMM By the Fireplace or TF Santal Blush are for life just yet.. I will buy my husband La Nuit del Homme forever😏
I can tell you have impeccable taste madam! I just ordered Lune Feline because I am tired of everyone talking about how amazing it is..lol! I am a lover of Roses and Gourmands. I appreciate tuberose and I am trying to learn to appreciate jasmine- Unfortunately, I am sensitive to indoles..BUT, I recently found a jasmine fragrance that is one of the most magical fragrances I've ever smelled- Midnight Jasmine by Pearlescent Parfums! If you haven't tried it yet- please try to! In fact ALL of Daniel Gallagher's fragrances are fantastic! This was a wonderful list! xoxox
I love that white blouse! Love Rouge Malachite .There's a note in Lune Feline that smells like Lysol cleaner to me, disappointed I don't get the vanilla or cardamon.

Arabian oud recently released a really lovely feminine leaning fragrance that has a nice cardamom note, along with red fruits at the top, pineapple, jasmine, and tonka bean in the mid, vanilla and patchouli in the base, chef kiss! Love it. 🥰

Kayali Utopia is one of my favs on it's own (not vanilla but reminds me of vanilla bc of the coconut). But so funny bc I love pairing Replica Beach Walk or Aerin Hibiscus Palm with Juliettes Vanilla Vibes too!

Dear Josephine, I keep hearing you mentioning that you love cardamom and I keep thinking of histoires de parfums “1969”. The peach is very pronounced, but cardamom is so strong in this beautiful summery warm scent. I would really suggest for you to try it!

Hi, Jjus--I LOVE white florals, too! What do you think of the classic Chanel #22? Hard to find, but I love the perfume. Harrod's has it, and of course Chanel in Paris. I live in LA. Frederic Malle's Portrait of a Lady and Lipstick Rose are great.

By the way, have you tried Maison Violet? I would love to know your opinion. I think they have beautiful fragrances included a white floral called Compliment (although my favorite is Un Air d’Apogée).

The Cetalox/ambroxan should make a nice base or foundation for layering. It is similar to Molecule 02.

What do you recommend for people who work in the office? I have..... not allergies, but, a weak sense of smell, so, I feel bad when I overspray! However, when I wear a cpl different perfumes, my co-workers don't mind.
However, I did wear DELINA & my co-workers instantly went to our boss! I wore it lightly. But, I don't know why they hated Delina?

I ordered some samples of Lune Feline and Nishane Ani recently and while I LOVE the first hour of Lune Feline above and beyond Ani, it doesn’t seem to last on my skin for very long (which is where the sweetness come out on me, it stays quite fresh and spicy on my clothes) 🤔 Nishane Ani is overpowering to me in its opening but the dry down is beautiful and what I want Lune Feline to be.

When I tried vanilla vibes I smelled absolutely nothing! I know some people experience this with certain notes? Will try it again, would love to layer with hibiscus palm 🌴 one of my favorites.
I am in love with Lancome oud bouquet and I blend it! Blessed Baraka and L'Extase Rose Absolut but impossible to narrow all my loves. Have had Scherzo on my list for about 1 year. Thank you, Josephine.
I was told Lancôme has discontinued Oud Bouquet? I have never smelled that one.

Josephine, have you tried La Surprise by Parfums MDCI? It's a floral woody musk fragrance with a prominent cardamom note. Created by Cécile Zarokian. One of my top ten for life! 🙂

Bought Samples of Gris Charnel, Lune Feline, and Amouage Material and hated all 3, I was so disappointed because I wanted to love them but just did not. I found out that I dislike Cardamon intensely. I did however buy Hibiscus Palm and I love it. I guess I will stick to the floral scents.

Hibiscus palm is one of y favorite, I receive always compliments with it. I do love Do son and OLÈNE by Diptyque Love by Killian and pure musk by Narciso Rodríguez. May I adk you what red lipstick are you wearing in the Matière Premiere presentation?
