Good evening from the UK. My husband & I are pensioners. We had a new patio in May which is now looking awful with leaf ( tannin ) stains. Your video is very impressive. We tried a strong jetwash & nothing happened. What is a “ soft wash solution “ please?
Try 2/3 bleach with 1/3 water in a pump up. If this doesn’t work, use straight bleach. Bleach is our active ingredient. We use a soap as well but the bleach should work. Make sure to avoid anything beyond the concrete. It can kill plants and possibly damage other surfaces if not careful. Hope this helps!
We recently did some pruning of giant taro leaves, and the sap left terrible tannic stains on some Indian limestone steps. Any tips on solution to apply? Obviously we don't want to put a lot of pressure on limestone. Thanks!
Wow that looks great. I did not know what those stains were, sometimes I would see them on sidewalks underneath huge oak trees or some kind of nut producing trees-- Never knew what they were called. I was cleaning the windows at a home and I saw a neighbor trying to take it off with high pressure, and just like your video suggests-- It did not take it off. He was out there for hours! I went over to see what he was doing (He was a do it yourself home owner), I did not know what kind of chemical that would help take that off for him. When you release your chemical, let me know-- I see this around a lot of sidewalk/driveways at certain times of the year-- would be nice to know something that can take that off.
Hi Tim i was doing a driveway the other day in Eugene and i noticed another small business had posted on everyones door a flyer with quote un quote "no chemicals used" every sidewalk and driveway had these stains. I got done with the driveway and warned neighbors that were out talking to me to not hire that guy if hes not using SH to eliminate the stains. I feel bad if anyone did hire him. I even demonstrated that high pressure wont work.
We used a neighbors driveway when we were building my redwood fence. We set a bundle of redwood boards on it and it rained. When we moved the bundle there was horrible stains in the shape of the bundle.. Tried to pressure wash tried dawn detergent.
Details on the solution would've been helpful. Total waste of my time.
Your comment was a total waste of your time not the video.

Will straight bleach damage the colour of the stones on a driveway ?

You may need to use heat.
Hi Tim,
Man can't wait to see what chemical you use for this. Looks good.
Coming soon

Regular full strength bleach in a pump up would work. We use a soap with it that makes it work a little better.

Sounds like someone was trying to differentiate themselves in the wrong way. Probably couldn’t afford chemical.

What is the solution?
Commercial SH and our Apple Suds soap.
pressurewashingskids.com/products/apple-suds-roof-and-house-washing-soap?_pos=2&_psq=apple&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Chlorine and a touch of dawn soap in a pump up
I wouldn’t do dawn.
Would this be safe to use on indian sandstone patio slabs? Thanks
As long as there were no organic based colors.
Thank you so much for your reply. They are light grey slabs?
Whats your softwash mix
Couple different things. We will have a new product launching soon. Stay tuned.
Looks good Tim.
