Try a Chem called Osfo or Chem prime.. these both work amazing on rust stains.. of course pre wet .. keep wet .. then rinse well

F9 barc is very similar to aluminum brightener and would have been the best to try after the F9 efflo since barc removes rust. Great video thanks for sharing
Yes, I keep F9 barc in stock in my shop.
Per the F9 cookbook, both efflo and barc can be used in conjunction to remove these types of stains if needed.

I cant tell ya how many houses I've done and then still have clay staining and I feel kinda dumb cause I cant get it off(didnt want to use too harsh of chemical and mess things up)this is a gamechanger!!

Usually just dilute everything down really good with water
Seems like the alum brite works best with higher dilution compared to using almost straight with other 2 chems that probably cost 2x as much as alum brite.
They were all 50/50 on this test.

They have been using aluminum brightener from Napa for years and years to get red clay off of dump trucks that's what it's made for to get the alkaline pill that causes the Red dirt aluminum brightener is made for red mud I don't know understand why these cats don't like using it's what it's made for, once again it's made for red clay alkaline and it's a lot cheaper and it's you used it at 50/50 you don't have to use it at full strength like you do with them other things, and you can get a MSDS data sheet on it no big deal, plus you can buy this stuff anywhere you don't have to drive 50 miles till you close the power wash door or wait 3 days to get it from Ohio I don't understand why people don't like to use it

What's in the aluminum brightner, buytal? And isn't that f9 eflo for calcium build up?
Efflo is option 1 for red clay per the F9 cookbook.
Efflo will do lots of stuff because it’s basically a muratic acid alternative.
You can also use BARC and get pretty good results.
Good video ,very informative. That red clay is a pain in the butt. The longer it sits the harder it gets.

hey i bought some of your mud mayday for our new construction and it seems to work great on the stone but what about coated brick? we are struggling trying to get red mud off of it
I'm currently having the same issue. This brick has really soaked up that red clay, and I can't use too much MMD or pressure to get it off without stripping it. You ever figure it out?
Hey man I live in North Alabama and want to start a side business doing pressure washing on the weekends and was wondering what is the highest gpm pressure washer I can buy without needing a buffer tank?
4 gpm is safe to use from a spigot. Any higher than that you risk outrunning the supply

Can you run aluminum brightner thru your soft wash machine ? I have a job coming up and tried a little sample in pump spay bottle but wasn’t sure if it’s possible in my soft wash machine
Not a good idea. You’ll be cross contaminating your softwash setup

Happy Monday Cody , i’m from California I have a question I’ve noticed around some houses out here they have the rust or iron stain on the stucco walls we have a lot of sand I’m not sure if you consider that red clay. My question is this if the customers going to paint their house do you recommend them having the iron stain removed before painting or does it matter if you paint over it?

Alum brightner would be cheaper on this but I still lean towards professional products for most jobs.

I have red clay on my retainer walls, we have power wash a couple of times with water , bleach, and hydrochloric acid and it still not coming off. Any suggestions? Thank you

I washed a Church before with just a typical house wash mix and the red clay dirt wouldn’t come off. The other part was clean, but I just didn’t charge them. Thanks for this video!!!!
when i lived in Georgia i installed paver sidewalks patios driveways and we cleaned and sealed them we used muriatic acid to clean the bricks there is a lot of clay in Georgia too lol

what is the purpose for adding chem to water?
A large amount of heat is released when strong acids are mixed with water. Adding more acid releases more heat. If you add water to acid, you form an extremely concentrated solution of acid initially. So much heat is released that the solution may boil very violently, splashing concentrated acid out of the container! If you add acid to water, the solution that forms is very dilute and the small amount of heat released is not enough to vaporize and spatter it. So Always Add Acid to water, and never the reverse.

We are still doing local pick up for all of the parts and supplies products. We just had to take that option off of the website because guys would place an order, and then we would ship it, and then they would show up to pick it up a couple of days later.

Yes. Refer to the F9 App or cookbook.
Efflo is the 1st option, but you can use BARC in conjunction if needed.
