    For rust, battery acid, and fertilizer removal I use F9 BARC. I'm in Houston Texas and there is a local supplier. Can be bought on line.
    For big / heavy algae SH jobs I have a 12vDC soft wash system with a SH, water and surfactant proportioner and 200' of hose.
    For medium / light SH jobs use the PW downstream injector.
    For smallish SH jobs (facia/soffit, single house side, bottom couple feet of siding, water run-off, etc) I use Chapin International 61575 Bleach & Disinfectant Backpack Sprayer. It does not have any metal parts to corrode. I will use the 12.5% SH full strength or dilute to 10% depending on how dirty the surface is.
    For rust I use a different backpack or a little pump sprayer. No sense setting up and taking down the PW or SW systems for less than 200 sqft cleaning. Use a garden hose to rinse this.

    Cliff, was wondering if you have just used oxalic acid for the rust removal instead of rust aid?
    One of the active ingredients is oxalic acid on the Rust Aids SDS along with hydrogen fluoride
    Coming from the weed control business I learned to find the chemical names as to cut costs in the end
    I understand in fence cleaning it is a brightener but also a stain remover in wood such as “nail tears” from the pickets
    Was just wondering if by chance you only went oxalic once or twice to see the difference
    Anyways, you are by far killing it and everyone interested in soft wash / pressure wash would learn a bunch from you as i have.
    I saw it is a year old video so maybe you have changed a few things
    Thanks again
    Keep the awesome information flowing soft or high pressure either way !!

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  2 года назад +4

      Yes I have used it on rust before. It works really well top. Same for the rust on white vinyl fences. I like the rust aid cause it's convenient and the cost is really cheap. I just pour and spray. I don't like to have to mix the oxalic acid. I keep a small bag of it in the van since I don't have a storage. Thanks for chiming in brother.

    You know after you search for something in Google you start to see ads for products pertaining to what you searched 😳😯🤨👀. We are 2½ yrs into living in beautiful Inverness FL (Citrus County) we had a vinyl fence put up before we moved here for our 2 GSD's. We have well water for the first time. It definitely stains the fence, sidewalk from the sprinkler system. My diy methods have worked great but i have to use elbow grease. My phone spying on me was a good thing this morning. I went to RUclips & in my feed was your video on cleaning the screened in pool, lanai, vinyl fence. We have a Lowe's & Ace hardware in town so im going to make sure they sell goof off Rust Aid Outdoors. I can't wait to use this "magic in a bottle" Mon or Tues. **Question please. Do i need to protect my plants & bushes in front of the fence? Also is i do, how? Will watering them well after cleaning the fence dilute the chemicals as to not kill my coleus & Canna plants?
    Sorry for the extra long post. I type like i talk 🤪🤣 Thank You for these videos! Well done, Sir. I will be toooo lucky if you respond before i take on our super yellow eyesore of a fence 😊🤗
