Man! I found you just in time. I am a decorative concrete artisan in Kansas, and our irrigation systems really do some damage. Obviously, I run into rust issues often on pool decks, patios, etc. I have declined work because of it. This opens me up to new possibilities. I've watched a few videos, and yours have been very enjoyable and informative. Thank you, and keep up the good work!
That mix you are using is awesome and you don’t have to rise? That’s a big job. All hands on deck. You seem like a good businessman and a hard worker. Thanks for sharing this video I enjoy following you.

Thanks for the tip of using Occilac acid! I thought it was only used to make patio wood brighter. I was using muriatic acid! I payed for it later though the next day. Couldn’t hardly swallow. Thx bro
Where does the rust come from? I know you have the rebar in the concrete and there can be iron particles in the concrete...but rust on a plastic fence??

@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash thanks. I happen to watch another one of your videos earlier today and you mentioned the rust coming from the sprinkler system. A crazy amount for sure.

@Lukealang haven't had that yet. This was only 2% so it won't do nothing to it. Granted turf is rare here, I've done work around turf maybe 20 times so far
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash I've had it happen a few times using 1 cup to 1 gallon. Some varieties of grass are more sensitive than others so maybe the breed they are using doesn't burn as easily but plants are much more sensitive to acids than bleach.
Man looked like a rust bomb went off in that neighborhood. Huge ticket and a whole lot of walking Lol. I think i wouldve rented a golf cart and drove around the neighborhood to spray everything 😂
That will be a discussion to have when someone is hiring you. This was a commercial job so they asked for many different quotes, full driveways, and partial driveways. If it were a residential customer I would just do the whole driveway but that wasnt the case. We were tasked for certain stuff.
Thanks. It took me a couple years to get Good and creative. I've used many programs over the years but simplicity wise I think Capcut editing has been the easiest to use. And it doesn't take a lot of memory on your computer.
Hey pink I will like to know the type of product you use for paver clean and seal, I see you do a job in one day and other people telling me it take three days because you have to make sure it's dry
That would have been a perfect upsell in the front especially after you did a great job on the interior of the complex, they would have definitely had you come back and do the front, and they would have paid for it.
Mine probably pulls around a 1.5-2% but that's the highest it'll get cause you can only adjust down by adding water to your SH which I never do. Yes the soft wash system is what I can adjust the mix from .01% to 12.5% full strength
Hey cliff , get your self a dolly and strap the bucket to it and 100ft of 3/8 air hose from harbor freight to make that sealing pail sprayer more efficient. I did the same thing works so good it’ll make your life a lot easier brother 🤙
I said my dolly broke in the video lol hahahah I think you missed it. I didn't have time to get all that stuff, the job got approved and we had to start it right away
@exodusexteriorsolutions yea I could see that but man it would suck in the small areas like pool decks going around pillars and stuff. For a driveway it would be more beneficial that way it doesn't tangle up.
@dustinjohnson2116 there's only one kind I've seen and that's powder form. I get the 50lb bags from pressure washer products. But Amazon has it in smaller portions like 1, 5, 10 LB bags.
You said 16 oz per gallon so that’s 80 oz on a 5 gallon bucket and then you said two of the cup you used which you said two 32 oz I guess that makes 64 oz on the 5 gallon bucket. So is it 80oz or 64oz?
Yes but again its gonna be more expensive and also more prone to killing grass than oxalic acid. If we used Muriatic Acid we would definitely have to rinse to avoid cooking the edges of the grass.
Our original plan of attack was to make a big batch, use a 12v pump, and run a long section of hose. However, once we got rolling, the 5 gallon buckets were just quick and easy. We didn’t have to mess with hoses getting caught up in landscaping, etc

Water filtration is the problem you going to get better filters for the water to stop it

I dont have a video of making one unfortunately. 😔

No. Just spray oxalic and walk away
Gawdamn man. One pipe busted and it got rust to stick to everything hundreds of feet away? How does that happen..its on everything

Is this water going inside the house too?
no they each home has a water softener that cleans the water for use inside.
Any leads on where to get a bulk bag on the Oxalic acid powder?

How do you recommend charging for rust removal?
square footage.
How did you make your estimate for something like this? Did you just eyeball it with your experience or did you have a method?
I actually went out there and measured it.
Hey Cliff does the oxalic acid remove rust stains from paved driveways ??
Yes it can. I've done it.
why is there so much rust in a new development?
The sprinkler system filtration system was broken!

I've done all of it at this point. I need to go take a ride up there to see if it came back again 😆
Hey Cliff my brother nice videos! Nice videos, how many square feet does the 5 gallons cover?
