    I tried the one meal a day diet plan for 3 days. Here’s a complete video depicting what all I ate and how much weight I lost in those 3 days. I hope you enjoy it!

    I'm doing OMAD too right now. On Day 3 today. Already lost 5-6 Kg. I eat only one time though. I have a big bowl of mix veg-mushroom-paneer soup with lots of chunky veggies at around 3pm and some fruits if I get too hungry in the Evening. Before sleeping though I have a cup of sweet milk as I can't sleep on an empty stomach. Was at 71.something Kg and now I'm at 64.7Kg. I also jog for an hour at night. Maybe that's what has helped in speeding up the weight loss. Plan to continue this for at least a month. My goal weight is 55-59Kg since I'm 5ft 1inch in height. Wish me luck!

    Did you workout other than eating less?! I'm so curious about this. I am currently maintaining the 10th day streak of my OMAD diet!!! It will be so helpful for me if you answer to this question.

      Yes! I did workout. Either HIIT at home or I walked 7-10k steps.

    Isn’t OMAD is all about one meal a day in an hour window where we fast for 23 hours and only an hour becomes our feeding window? I see you are eating meals in much time gaps hence there is always an insulin spike!

    Actually I'm on OMAD it's my 4th day... I'm doing 23:1 right now, I'm having my meal in the morning is it okay to eat in the morning? & wanted to know when did you measure weight I mean before having meals or after... Actually I'm measuring my weight daily bt I'm nt able to understand it after consuming food & before consuming food weight is different I jus want to know which weight I should consider to check how much weight I have lost... Sry if my question seem silly

      Don’t worry, no question is silly!
      Now coming to your question, you can eat whenever you want, as long as there is a gap of, in your case, 23 hours. I prefer to have my meals in the evening, but morning would also do.
      I weigh myself first thing in the morning, right after I wake up, always.
      Weighing yourself at different times of the day will give you different numbers. Your weight changes when you eat, when you’re bloated, when you don’t poop well, etc.
      So just to have a standardised measure for myself, I prefer to check on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning, so that food, water, etc don’t hinder my records. Stick to weighing yourself at the same time period everyday for better understanding. I usually wouldn’t suggest that you check your weight after having a meal, because it’ll mostly always be elevated!

      Any diet that puts you in a caloric deficit in combination with 3-5 days of good workout would reduce fat from all parts of your body, including your belly!

      Here is the Answer..
      Because in OMAD diet..u have only one meal a Day.. and in 1 meal U cant go in a calorie Surplus .. so basically you are in a calorie Deficiet.. !
      Answer : you can lose belly fat !

      No! Stop eating this way. It’s so bad for you. This is not complete nutrition. There’s no protein in your diet. You’re young now, your main focus should be to eat whole, nutritious foods because these are the building block years of your life that decide the outcome of your whole life. Consume the right supplements, multivitamins, eat balanced meals, workout/walk regularly.

    How can this be OMAD diet ? When you are eating two times a day . From what I know you have to fast for 23hr and eat for just one hour.

      Yes, but I have a tiny appetite and can’t eat a large meal at once. So I fasted for 22 hours and ate 2-3 small meals in those 2 hours

      Yaa....Omad is basically 23:1 ....but everyone have their own ways to ease it and I guess it's fine ....as far as you challenge yourself and most importantly enjoy with what you're doing ......
      From my personal experience .....have tried omad for a week and lost 5kg out of which half was water weight .....

      Yes, you will gain the weight back after this. I would suggest get professional help and follow a more sustainable plan that’ll give you slow but more permanent results

    3 pound of that is water weight, because u dont eat a lot so the body get rid of excess water,,

    Can we only eat Veggies and fruits and salad...is this enough for omad in one day calorie

      Not at all. You will experience terrible problems if you go on such a crash diet. Even if you just eat fruits and veggies, you’ll have to eat a lot to be able to fulfil your daily caloric requirement in just one meal so I think it’s impractical. Instead eat a balanced diet and try and do this sustainably. Short term quick results are never permanent

      I would suggest you focus on eating a complete meal. You don’t need to worry too much about diets and calories right now. Be physically active, limit your junk food intake to 1-2 times per week, eat nutritious wholesome meals

      You’re young. Don’t do all this. Do basic intermittent fasting. Keep your eating window between 12-8. And try and walk 5000-10000 steps everyday

      I'm more than a year late but yes, you absolutely can! Just keep processed carbs, salty snacks and sugar to a minimum as those really spike insulin [a fat storage hormone].

    You will not lose weight.. in 2 or 3 days..
    You will lose the water weight..

      Your statement is partly correct and partly wrong. You’re right, I will lose only water weight in 2-3 days, but you’re wrong when you say I won’t lose WEIGHT. I did lose almost 5 pounds, which in turn was most definitely water.
      The correct statement here is, I won’t lose FAT in 2-3 days, and I didn’t, nor did I claim that I did
      And absolutely, knowledge is everything.

      She will not tell you can also lose 2 3 kgs its normal..because.. when you eat carbs your body hold water..
      When u stop eating.. or fasting..
      You will lose water weight which you can again gain in only 1 day.. so this is temporary.. !

      @@6Fitansh thank you so much itna ache sa samjhya main ny bhi ase deits follow karti pir lose karti and gain loose weight gain. we are Asians we eat roti and gain weight back again it was hard to understand the logic. Then i left all deit plans. I have lose 10 kg 4 month with roti rice portion control. And never get back my lose weight again.

      @MAHAKAAL I didn’t lie in my video dear. I showed my actual results of filling this for a short stipulated period of time. I never claimed that I’ll keep on losing weight in the same trend that I did in this few days.
      Initial weight loss is always greater as compared to when you’ve already lost a few pounds. The more you’re closer to your goal weight, the slower your weight loss gets.
      Don’t try and interpret something that I’ve never said. I’ve only shared my experience, I’m not lying nor am I deceiving you or anyone else.

      By the way I am not your hater I am telling you the thing which I have observed
      I am telling this to you because I am 6.1 feet tall and having 80 kg and suffering with some amount of fat but you are smaller than me ( I don't know your height) and having balanced body than you can't be 80 kg.

      Hahahah I take that as a compliment! I’m 5.3. I have been a Powerlifter in the past and also train all my muscles 6 times a week with very less cardio. I have a combination of lots of muscles and fat, thus my body weight is very heavy. Im indeed 80 kgs right now as well
