This is a re-do, as I always wanted to do this one again with more grit and power to my voice during the chorus. When I did the original, I sang the chorus the only way I knew how, which was quite softly and safely, in order to hit those notes. I added the vocal harmonies this time also.
This is one single take with no overdubs, the only thing I got to work on was recording the chorus melodies until I was happy with them. This version also has been done with more experience and using the things I've learned thus far as a vocalist, allowing me to bring some more power to it this time. This was recorded the day after I saw Slipknot perform in Birmingham, U.K (2020) and after I also got to meet Jim Root, which was an absolute dream come true! So I was on a Slipknot high and I had that energy with me in this video!
