  • A film to celebrate 27 years of partnership between Marie Curie and the National Garden Scheme, featuring Penny and Leslie from the West Midlands Hospice.
Penny volunteers in the garden at the hospice and has done so since her mum died there during the COVID-19 pandemic. Leslie’s husband Ron died at the West Midlands Hospice in October 2019 and loved the garden. Leslie comes back to visit the hospice every Tuesday.
The National Garden Scheme has supported Marie Curie since 1996, donating over £10.8million in that time from opening exceptional private gardens to the public. The garden at West Midland Hospice is one.
