What you're saying seems similar to the Matthew principle- to those who have much is given etc. Which there is plenty evidence to support that's it's some natural universal law. I commented on the video 2/3rds through before you mentioned it. Other thing often happens is people get what they want when they no longer want it or have totally let go of the attachment to it.
