Highly relatable video. Lost my father just out of college in 2018. Had to pay off his debts after he passed away and have been taking care of my family since then. Been thinking about many things that Kratish spoke about. 'Maa ka phone kharab ho gaya' was relate max!
One suggestion for Kratish, since you have an agency background, you could consider starting one of your own, maybe with 2-3 like minded people, along with your current job. Lot of early stage startups and firms are looking for growth solutions, especially in areas of growth and product marketing. I know time constraints will be there. but along with reducing expenses, increasing income should also be looked at. This agency approach can help you in that. You seem to be mature and confident enough to pull this. All the best man!

The reason he is not able to save much is because of his expenses. He is living alone and paying a rent of 20k, my whole family lived in 16k a few years back in Bangalore and I used to earn more than him at that time. His electricity bill is 2500 which is ridiculous for a single person. He spends 8k on "weekend" expenses which frankly, he can't afford given his situation. 30k for expenses during home travel also shows not having enough control over expenses. I'd even go on smaller expenses like commute -- why should it take 5k for commute if you use a 2-wheeler, I don't understand.
My speculation is he would not be able to save much money even if he had earned double what he is earning now. He'd find a way to spend most of it.

Why not take a break at expense of the company. Utilise all leaves and then also exhaust the paid leaves. If you've been working for this organisation for a long time they should give you a extended break, better still if you convince them that in this break you'll learn a new skill that will be helpful for growth of the organisation.
On the side, go full throttle on new job search and if successful, ask them for a joining after a month. You have taken your break.

I have one point in a constructive way.
Whenever you interview common people like in this video you show each and every detail of the income like total compensation, fixed, variable in numbers. But when you interview celebs like suhani shah, rajat sood etc you talk in percentages. I think we will like to know the same level of details about their expenditure and incomes and investment diversification

Celebs won't share exact numbers with him.. They work hard to portray themselves like a common man but if they'll share their numbers, that bubble might burst. Nothing wrong in earning and spending in lakhs and crores but most of the Indians negatively perceives high-income individuals so they chose to not disclose it.

Actually he was earning 13K in hand per month and now he earns 23.5LPA in CTC, considering 10% variable, in hand would be somewhere around 1.35L. So technically its 10X growth. Not more than that. Ask your friends for money and pay the loan then pay your friends back
