I love Welsh choirs... these guys are awesome.....if I didn't watch this clip then I would never of been introduced to the wonderful music of Karl Jenkins......so thank you for that.......❤Cor Glanathway❤
If I was one of the judges, I would’ve said This is so amazing, one of the best choirs I’ve ever heard, as a result, I’m going to say... ‘Presses the golden buzzer’
A beautiful rendering of a beautiful piece,a Welsh choir at it very best.Made even more beautiful seeing the happy faces as they performed,Every one loved it and you would have to be out of your mind not to but more important they loved singing it.
Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Bryn Terfel, Katherine Jenkins, Margaret Price, Gwyneth Jones, Aled Jones (as a boy), Morriston male voice choir (among many others), Thomas L Thomas, Stuart Burrows, crowds singing at Wales rugby matches....Adele, Michael Ball both have a Welsh parent...even my dog Bryn would throw his head back and we would sing our hearts out together.
They are wonderful but the really stunning part for me is how that genius of a man got such a pure sound from such a wide range of ages! Amazing! As an English person I agree totally that Welsh choirs are the best ❤
Just watched all three appearances of this choir. How could anybody in their right mind say that a bloody dog act, and a magician were better. Whoever they were, it's obvious that their idea of an evening of high class entertainment, is watching episodes of, The Simpsons.
You should remember that this is a variety competition, not a singing competition. Anyone is perfectly entitled to win, whether it includes singing, dancing, ventriloquism, magic, dog dancing... a young girl once recited poetry with a snake around her neck! Especially because both Simon and David particularly love dog acts!
MiliDoesStuff Mae'n 'Cymraes' os mae'n person/ merch, ddim "cymraeg". Os mae'n bachgen, mae'n 'cymro'. Roeddwn i'n jyst eisiau i cywiro ti oherwydd mae'n camgymeriad mawr mae pobl yn gwneud.
Wow, did anyone notice at 4:11? Anna Popplewell alias Susan Pevensie from The Chronicles of Narnia - am I right? (Of course great choir, great song, that´s why I´m listening to it again and again :-) )
I love dogs and i love Wales and this choir. There is a saying, the Gods gave humans the gifts of fire, song and dogs, and the greatest of these is dogs. My dog Bryn would throw his head back and we would sit by the fire and sing our hearts out together. I did consider auditioning with him on Britain's Got Talent. RIP Bryn, those were the best of times.
if you freeze frame around 0:57, you will see a female vocalist wearing a mic. Seems a bit peculiar as there were no soloists in this particular arrangement. why would they all not be using ambient mics?
+Lee Williams Two? But the last one cheated, it was a different dog. Okay, cheat might be a strong word, but one o the tricks was made by another of the ladies dogs so people felt cheated.
Soooo beautiful, BUT, when you say a comment like this will never get you into Heaven! Wow. The music was beautiful but please.....know that if you repent and believe on the Lord Jesus...you will be saved. Music fantastice...theology...doubtful.
There was nothing on BGT. this year (2016) that was even close to the incredible performance of Cor Glanaethwy, and nothing came close to the performances that we saw from them on BGT. in 2015. Perhaps this is due to a lack of musical education on the part of the general public in England, or possibly the fact that most people are willing to settle for the poor quality of the sound that comes out of most TV's. Listening to Cor Glanaethwy on 7 channel surround sound is like going to heaven. At least it's probably as close as I'll ever get! Someone needs to make musical education a priority in England, or we all face a future of having to put up with infantile music, for people who have never developed a real appreciation for real music. It's a sad commentary on English society.
This is proof that that "music indeed speaks when words fail." My husband and I were so moved! by this rendition.
I love Welsh choirs... these guys are awesome.....if I didn't watch this clip then I would never of been introduced to the wonderful music of Karl Jenkins......so thank you for that.......❤Cor Glanathway❤
Absolutely beautiful, I cried through about half of it so I had to watch it again. It moves your soul.
It's like I was being welcomed into heaven... I couldn't agree more. This choir is incredible. My heart skipped a beat.
Still brings me so much joy all these years later!! 😃😃Thank you for all your hard work. Amazing choir master too. Not an easy job! 💖💖
If I was one of the judges, I would’ve said This is so amazing, one of the best choirs I’ve ever heard, as a result, I’m going to say... ‘Presses the golden buzzer’
I remember hearing a male voice choir sing at cardiff arms park as a child. It was like a religious experience, i'll never forget it.
These people in a big cathedral...this is what I want to see. Sublime.
I love this choir!!!! I heard 150 times in the day
spine chilling performance. Keep coming back to listen, memories of home, now in Thailand.
Kevin is a musical genius. No living human has ever got 160+ people to sing like that
How I wish I could be a part of such just once more in my lifetime
A beautiful rendering of a beautiful piece,a Welsh choir at it very best.Made even more beautiful seeing the happy faces as they performed,Every one loved it and you would have to be out of your mind not to but more important they loved singing it.
Best choir ever very moving I'll be in Wales September next, I'll travel any distance. We'll done your amazing congrats Kevin.
As a singing and vocal coach, it would be a wonderful experience to work with such an amazing choir...stunning x
Wales is BURSTING with vocal talent! They have amazing singers! Charlotte Church, Shaheen Jafargholi, and this choir are all stunning singers!
These guys still to this day make me so proud to be welsh especially from north wales!
They are wonderful but the really stunning part for me is how that genius of a man got such a pure sound from such a wide range of ages! Amazing! As an English person I agree totally that Welsh choirs are the best ❤
If I was one of the judges, I would have hit the golden buzzer for this. I hope they win BGT!
+Loyalty Of The Moon i was amazed that they wasnt golden buzzered too and even more surprised they didnt win
They probably weren't golden buzzered because the judges knew that the choir would probably go through to the live shows no matter what.
How wonderful. I could spend hours listening to them.
When so many people come together in harmony!
Such an emotive sound!
It felt like Heaven!! Beautiful voices and great arrangement!
yes indeed !
The best CHOIR i ever heard i my life
is there any thing better than a welsh choir??? I don't think so..... Wales your amazing.....and that's coming from a Scot x x x
stunning!!!! just absolutely beautiful. He is right "like being welcomed into heaven"
When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy.
Job 38:7
I want to hear more of them.
😽
That is a really extraordinary choir.
Is there anybody left in Wales. I love that line.
They are beautiful!
you are the winner
the composer of the piece the choir sang was Karl Jenkins who is also Welsh. This is part of a much larger requiem ... Well done!
It is celestial.
Bloody amazing...go Cymru !!
you have to say the welsh can bloody sing
why thankyou
Gary Skinner I agree with you on that and what makes it that much better is that Maddy she is so cute and adorable.
Gary Skinner im welsh too
Truly beautiful...
Should have gotten the golden buzzer
Just beautiful
Soooo Beautiful.

AMEN
I kept thinking that they would get a golden buzzer
To quote the Reverend Eli Jenkins from Dylan's 'Under Milk Wood' ...."Praise the Lord we are a musical nation!"
So 11 people gave this the thumbs down. I feel really sorry for tone deaf people!
Its funny when simon says "the smallest choir in the world" and than "oh..?!" He realize its massive and obviously the best choir in the world.
I felt sorry for that young chap who lost his father.
Liam Holton he’s my brother, no joke
Steven sanders I'm Irish and I agree 👍 the Welsh are fine singers indeed 🇮🇪🏴🏴

I love dogs and i love Wales and this choir. There is a saying, the Gods gave humans the gifts of fire, song and dogs, and the greatest of these is dogs. The Benedictus, chi è l'autore? bravissimi, grande performance
Karl Jenkins from Wales is the composer- there's a beautiful video of his whole Benedictus on youtube
if you freeze frame around 0:57, you will see a female vocalist wearing a mic. Seems a bit peculiar as there were no soloists in this particular arrangement. why would they all not be using ambient mics?
They probably turned it off during the performance. Or the others probably had clip on mics on their shirts/dresses..
stratosfear44 s she was the girl who went on stage to introduce the choir, they probably had her mike for that
did they win?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!
bleach12i No.. a freakin' dog act nowhere NEAR as good as this choir. They are magnificent!
+MsTweetie how many dog acts has that been now? like, seriously?
+Lee Williams Two? But the last one cheated, it was a different dog. Okay, cheat might be a strong word, but one o the tricks was made by another of the ladies dogs so people felt cheated.
Does anyone know the song in the background at 1:15 ?
+Sahib Panesar Sing by Gary Barlow. He wrote the song for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Karl Jenkins from Wales- a heavenly classical piece in which a choir also appears.

Soooo beautiful, BUT, when you say a comment like this will never get you into Heaven! Wow. The music was beautiful but please.....know that if you repent and believe on the Lord Jesus...you will be saved. Music fantastice...theology...doubtful.
Nial G
Noah Brett spell my brothers name right will ya
.Britain may have talent, but seeing this amazing choir lose out to a "doggie act" and a pop singer proved that Britain had no sense of excellence....

Anyone know the name of the last song at around 7:00?
Syh Khang Ng Kinda late, but it's Somewhere Only We Know.
