that arrival speech is LEGENDARY!
WTF is WRONG with you? It's foolish and unprofessional...The guy should be fired
Southwest flight crews tend to be entertaining. Lol
it's been their shtick for years. Cool guys!
Wow that's a very smooth, gentle and butter landing.
that was a smooth touchdown!
that was butter beautifull
That first officer is one cool brotha.
WOW WHAT AN INCREDIBLY AWESOME LANDING!!!!😮
Great video! I also really enjoyed the Flight Steward's "after landing" speech as well.
Good video! It's incredible how pilots can fly these planes in this type of weather.
Pffft
Autipilot is doing most of the flying in IMC
Feel
Cold just watching this.
Awesome catch! Would you be okay with me featuring this in my series Weekly Dose of Aviation? Of course you will be credited both in the video and in the description. Thanks!
Yes!
I love your channel!
Great video. The full flap deployment really stands out against the zero visibility, great scene.
That’s what your mom said. 😅
It's not zero visibility. Probably a visibility of 1 mile or 2 from the looks of it
Stunning capture! May I feature this landing in one of my next episodes? Of course with a link back to your original video. All the best to you!
Yes!
these videos are very interesting
Nice steady landing footage
Been flying Southwest for years. Great airline.
Meh
They lost a lot customers because of the December 2022 debacle..
Southwest is investing in software upgrades. Customers are on the way back.
Though I've not flown anywhere since 2017, since 2003 I've not flown anyone but SWA because you're not just a customer to them, you are family and they always do an exemplary job, I've never had any of my mobility equipment or luggage lost or damaged when flying SWA and BWI is a fantastic airport to call home base!
Great flight crew announcement!!
Excellent landing speech 🏆🏆🏆🏆💪💪💪❤️❤️❤️❤️
golly this game me anxiety . I dont like flying, seening the wings will freaks me out ( yes, i know they are made to do that) hearing the engines res/fall, turbulance, people on the ple and a while host of of mental problems i make up, this landing was damn smooth . Thanks to the crew for making scary weather like this at least a little bit easier for those of us that are scrared of flying
This is awesome
I was waiting for a hymn and the collection plate to start coming around ,, AMEN
That was a great landing, not the usual Southwest landing…
Can you give tips to flight attendants? That was incredible!!
Really nice video.
Awesome landing
"The Eagle Has Landed"
Wow you always fly Southwest Airlines so many times.
Username “SWA” hate to think otherwise….

That's incredible! May I feature this landing in a video of mine? You will be credited of course in the description and video. Thanks!
Yes!
Beautiful video!
Amazing Video
Cool vid! Can i use it as part of my video? I will link it back to this ❤
Yes!
Man, I'd be scared shitless not knowing what's down below during winter weather.
Excelente aterrizaje. Muy bien
That landing was very dangerous where in rainy or snowy conditions, pilots should land the plane harder than that to kick any snow or water particles in between the tires and the asphalt. Otherwise the plane would slip.
Looks like you landed in Siberia.
With the ILS aproach he got it.
It's too bad Southwest changed their paint. The red flap tracks looked better

Hey!
May I have your permission to use your clip in a compilation?
Linked and credited.
Thanks!
Yes!
Man, that's beautiful. Lucky you!!
I miss my Baltimore.

Y’all please don’t eat me up in the comments but besides the lack of visibility, isn’t it dangerous to land in these type of conditions? Ice is my concern
Pilots will typically report slippery conditions or braking effectiveness when the weather is wacky. There are a few videos here and there of airplanes skidding off the runway but it’s 99.999% safe. Airplanes spend almost half the year dealing with such conditions in the northern parts of the country…as a system, we’ve got it pretty well figured out.
But they need runway two niner!! Don't worry, Dean martin will land it!
Thank goodness for IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) and ILS (Instrument Landing System), am I right? A century ago, this sort of weather would have been declared a no-go condition at the least.
You are very close. IFR = Instrument Flight Rules. As you asked. It’s not really a “reference”, rather, the FAA regs dictate different rules when you can’t reference the horizon, runway, etc when looking out the window. Your philosophy is 100% sound, semantics…. 😊 Great job regardless!
@@66gtfb Fixed it, sorry.
The name's is BaltiLESS
Welcome to Baltimore lol No Thanks !
what do those back flaps do on the backside of the wing?
Are you referring to the speed brakes deploying on the top of the wing? Those are used to help slow down the plane.
No the big flap that's curled downwards the whole time they're coming in for landing@@jimgray1094
@@grasscutter88extra lift to allow landing at proper, slower speeds
