Love, love, love Catamaran Supply, too! They carry pretty much all of the safety gear we used on our year and a half trip. The kits are such a good way to get on the water safely without having to read through all the regs.
Great video thank you! You might want to think about not putting electronic stuff right beside the water heater. Water and electronics don't mix! Just a thought!
Welcome back to Stuart/Jupiter. So glad for you. I hope you stay here for awhile. Maybe I will see you again at the Royal Cafe. I hope to see you while I am kayaking up that way.
Hi neighbors! My boat made the video! Sierra, it was great meeting you at the marina the other day. Thanks for stopping to chat. You guys are super inspiring and definitely helped me get my priorities straight. Fair winds!
I think the orange "flare" was really a man-overboard marker for night time use. Toss it in the water with a PFD. It should float light-up and probably strobes. Great ICW sailing in a trimaran!
I was just in Stewart for 3 days helping a friend on his sail boat! I would gone nuts if I saw you and Mermaid Monster! Went through the Roosevelt bridge a few times. Lulu's Italian restaurant is AWESOME !
Glad to see you guys are back in warm weather, I wish I was but soon. I bought an 36' RV over New Years weekend so I should be on the road by late spring or early summer. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
They make longer hitch extensions but they have trusses to give lateral support. You can purchase a remote pressure sensors for the trailer tires. You may want to purchase a hydraulic bottle jack for changing tires would work on boat trailer and truck easier than the jack you were using. It may have been the angle but something does not look right where the stainless hitch assembly meets the trailer almost looks bent.
Hey guys i think i saw the skark dodge today in Jensen Beach there cant be to many others like yours 😁 anyways if your over here i wanted to say hi and of not i apologize for driving by the truck a number of times hope they dont think im stalking them lol. Love your Chanel......Chuck
You could always go to crystal river. Its in florida, and super fun. Dunno how easy it would be to navigate in the big boat, but the dinghy should be able to get in the canals no problem.
You might consider a SuperTruss Extension available in eight lengths from 21" to 60" and works exclusively with our SUPER HITCH® or SUPER HITCH® Magnum.
Hey guys in regards to flipping the towbar tongue, alot of models have different ratings when flipped and it's usually harved, i would recommend checking this out. Cheers Ben Australia
That's so cool that you took them out mermaid monster is one of my other favorite boating channels to watch. Their kids are so cool. They're so well behaved when they're on camera. But I know kids we raise plenty of them. We did foster care for many years.. So we know the kids have their moments but that's being a kid... LoL 😂 My wife says that most kids are better behaved than I am at my age. She said that I would be going through my second childhood at my age but I never grew out of my first childhood... LoL 😆.... Much love in prayers you kids be blessed in Jesus name... BBE...
You need a tire pressure monitor for the trailer. That tire may have had a slow leak you didn't notice on the way down 95 and when a tire set is pushing load max etc. it doesn't take much to shred. The new monitor systems are great piece of mind also.
So cool to see you on a Corsair!!! I have followed you awhile and I'm thrilled that you are getting such great footage of this design. Want something you can relate to... now that you fly tri??? Visit Sailing S/V Triplet for some F28 action on windy Detroit Lake!!! We watch you every week!!! Come to the west coast and we'll race!!! SF, Tahoe, San Juan's, Columbia River, Cascade lakes... Come over here and play!!! Just sayin... Cheers, Pete Triplet 2000 F28sc #19
It looks like that tire delaminated. Either a passenger vehicle tire or an under classed tire. I'm glad you were able to get it swapped and off the side of the road and on your way safely
That tire that blew, looked like it was a retread and the retread came off. Very common and usually happens when there is too much air in the tire and it is driven for a long time and heats up causing the retread to an ad here from the tire.
Definitely invest in a 1/2 impact gun cordless Makita or Milwaukee and decent jack saved me lots of time with 3/4 ton and trailers when it 100 degrees outside in the summer you will see living the trailer life, carry spare hub and bearings, not an easy find sometimes in the middle of nowhere.
Great video! hi, it would be nice if you made a very detailed video of the trimaran interior with each locker, toilet, electronics, hydraulics, etc there are no such videos yet. Then a very detailed video on the assembly and disassembly of mast, boom, etc would be nice as the dragonfly did for its trimarans; keep in mind that there is still nothing specific about 880 in the corsair manual. keep it up!
Trailer loadout should be 40 front 60 back for good towing. At least that was the old school percentages that I learned growing up....if it's 60/40 then you get a little sway which wears out the front tires and they go quickly.
When a tyre is soft, with not enough air pressure the tyre flexes as it hits the road, this flexing creates heat, enough heat to weaken the bonding between the tread and the carcass, eventually causing separation of the 2.
If you guys ever get up to the St. Johns River (Green Cove Springs area), I'd really like to see that boat perform in person. I know Jetty doesn't like strangers so, I'd watch from my boat. Lots of wide open water here and usually a decent amount of air flow for sailing.
Got you some of them chana boomers you need a tire pressure monitoring system 65 ft overall length is not legal in all 50 states good video guys I will have to watch the rest of it on my lunch our time to go to work and make some boat money
It's hard to tell from the video, but it appears that tire may have been over inflated. Under inflation is a major killer of tires, but the wear pattern on an under inflated tire appears on the sides of the tread, not the middle.
Concerning the tire pressure, please follow the trailer makers recommended pressure. NEVER EVER inflate to the pressure on the side of the tire. That is the maximum pressure and all you have to do is drive a couple of miles and the heat build up will increase the pressure above the max, significantly increasing the chance of blow out and decreasing any manufacturer liability.
Well the pressure on the sidewall is the maximum “cold” pressure so I do think they take into consideration rising temps when driving but maybe not rising temps into different climates
I have been doing some Travel Trailer towing. Two things I’ve learned is most Trailer tire are made in China and are BAD. You did good to replace with American made. I hope Goodyear endurance. #2 most trailer tires are not speed rated if you tow over 55 mph you are asking for trouble. You go verb55 the heat builds up and they blow. The Goodyear endurance are rated for higher speeds but don’t do it. 55 mph max is way safer. You don’t want that truck and trailer combo ending up in a ditch, You are a smart young man I am enjoying the vids.😎
Try to find E range tires if possible. At the very least D range ! Carry 2 spares and get yourself a one piece ramp jack for tandem axles at Northern Tools or Tractor Supply.Take it from an old Fort Love your video that has towed a boat to the Keys for 45 years.
I thought you were going to say sailing vessel "transvestite" I was like holy crap where was I, they named it transvestite! I guess I shouldn't be wearing headphones my hearings going. Jetty did look guilty, she had to look. Love the beginning of the video with the tire nonsense, they look like "vulcanized" retreads...... Oh boy! I could also appreciate the "Trawler People", much like the "Smokers" in waterworld. I guess I'd try to convert them too.... Anyway really enjoyed this content continue your productions are getting kitchier but cool! Kind of like a 27-minute vacation if you will. Oh yeah I almost forgot, get rid of that copper pan you'll get poisoned with copper. 🚫 good!!!
I just found you today, watched this and a few other recent ones and some from a few months back. You sold your catamaran, you are buying a new Seawind cat, how did you get involved with this Corsair?
List everything on the inside of doors? The person who had me on told me to lash everything that you want to keep. We losses so much including the rudder.
My boat experience is that IF something can go wrong, it will. And with boats, anything can go wrong. I am not a fan of having to haul a trailered boat down the highway long distances.
Love, love, love Catamaran Supply, too! They carry pretty much all of the safety gear we used on our year and a half trip. The kits are such a good way to get on the water safely without having to read through all the regs.
Adrenaline looked jealous behind you. She had a sad vibe, but is happy for you. 😊
JETTY stealing the show again in the first few seconds 🥰🐕
😆 😂. I think Jetty stoke a little more than the show. 🥩 👍
Was a blast sailing with y’all. Can’t wait to take you guys out next
I have watched both your channels for a while now, they are both great!!
Monster mermaid BOAT TOUR!!
Mermaid monster that would blog to them on your boat so they can see why you live on big boat.
I still don't see why RUclips disabled your comments when Vagabond &Delso both have little kids.
Love Mermaid Monster!!!
Thanks for posting and sharing. Glad to see you had the opportunity to see your friends, and take them out on Tula III/Transformer.
Yes that looks so smooth on the run. Nice . Thanks for sharing.
Hi neighbors! My boat made the video! Sierra, it was great meeting you at the marina the other day. Thanks for stopping to chat. You guys are super inspiring and definitely helped me get my priorities straight. Fair winds!
Level trailer is good since weight is shifted to the lower axle. Never fill tires to max pressure. They will stand it, for a while...
Your Trimaran just rips through the water, what a beautiful sail. I really enjoyed watching thanks for sharing, best regards Paul U.K.
I love "Mermaid Monster" with Brook, Brayden, Rooney and Penn!! I've followed them for a long time - Awesome video
Very enjoyable. Thank You. I thought that was Adrenaline hiding in the back groundd.
It was nice seeing Adrenaline in the background.
They have a beautiful Nord Haven trawler! Totally ignored a certain cat moored behind you guys when you launched! LOL
Its great to see you guys on the new boat. I just think about all the adventures in front of you. Happy sailing.
I think the orange "flare" was really a man-overboard marker for night time use. Toss it in the water with a PFD. It should float light-up and probably strobes. Great ICW sailing in a trimaran!
Your videos with the truck camper have been the best yet! I have decided to buy a corsair 880 because of you
Enjoyable video seeing you share the Trimaran with Mermaid Monster and the Kids.
Your videos make me smile. 👍👍
Nice surprise - We like our friends on Mermaid Minster too! Thanks for another nice episode.
Funny how when another youtube channel shows up it feels like a Marvel/DC crossover. 😜
We had a healer like jetty. We rescued him when he was a year old had him for 13 years.miss him so we love seeing jetty
Thanks for introducing mermaid monster. I love their channel 2!!!
That tri is not only super clever tech, she looks pretty quick through the water . Transformer huh Billy ? quick :)
I was just in Stewart for 3 days helping a friend on his sail boat! I would gone nuts if I saw you and Mermaid Monster! Went through the Roosevelt bridge a few times. Lulu's Italian restaurant is AWESOME !
Stuart
Glad to see you guys are back in warm weather, I wish I was but soon. I bought an 36' RV over New Years weekend so I should be on the road by late spring or early summer. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Love the music, same as the pacer test 😄
The greatest way to spend an afternoon with friends
We follow both of your RUclips Channels! Cool to see Power & Sail boaters together! Safe Boating to all of you!
Transformer
Perfect name for it
Happy new year

Wow! That thing really boogies! I have only sailed monos, it sure looks fun.

She has Grogo!!! I am so jealous 🤠
so, when are you guys getting your new boat. I keep waiting for the tour :)
Look what's behind you. Nice
It's great to see y'all back in warmer weather, as being bundled up in cold weather gear just doesn't seem natural for y'all!
we love Mermaid Monster! One of our other subscribed boat life crew.
Well I can tell you guys are going to make good parents LOL and that boat is so nice🐝
I am amazed at how well she cuts the water
Thanks for another wonderful adventure!
You could always go to crystal river. Its in florida, and super fun. Dunno how easy it would be to navigate in the big boat, but the dinghy should be able to get in the canals no problem.
I wait to see the new boat, thanks and good luck wait for it🙏
You did good. Older tires are a problem as are trailers that are not in line with tow rig. Should tow much better now and be much more safe
A compression fitting is a good temporary fix. When you get to Florida repair it with a flare fitting.
You might consider a SuperTruss Extension available in eight lengths from 21" to 60" and works exclusively with our SUPER HITCH® or SUPER HITCH® Magnum.

Seems like this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy sailing just for sailing. Thanks for sharing it with us.

It looks like that tire delaminated. Either a passenger vehicle tire or an under classed tire. I'm glad you were able to get it swapped and off the side of the road and on your way safely
Of course there's no load on the truck. It's a 12 valve.
Thank you for the videos and I hope you both have a very Happy New Year.🤞😊😎🥳
I use to live in Stuart many years ago, back then I sailed a Hobie Cat 16 and the all popular Laser Sailboat......
That tire that blew, looked like it was a retread and the retread came off. Very common and usually happens when there is too much air in the tire and it is driven for a long time and heats up causing the retread to an ad here from the tire.

@14:00 - I love your friends! If you do convince them to turn to the dark side let me know. That is one sweet Nordhavn that I would like to own!
The Roosevelt Bridge. I used to keep my boat right there.
OMGOSH That’s great I love their channel!!!
Really nice video.
Great video!

Watching now/ is that adrenaline in the background??🤙🤙
Is Adrenaline sold?
@@olafk2297 Not yet.
Hey cool video! I'm looking at getting a 12volt portable refrigerator
Do you have a recommendation?
When a tyre is soft, with not enough air pressure the tyre flexes as it hits the road, this flexing creates heat, enough heat to weaken the bonding between the tread and the carcass, eventually causing separation of the 2.

So funny, I suscribed to Mermaid 10 ago! really cool people, but I'm more in to sailing!
Those tires r called China bomb they put them on rv trailers hi jetty girl 😎🙋
Sierra, Billy maybe 5 little ones from y'all for future deck hands?
thanks guys for the vlog!!
You guys probably stopped at HGR trailer in hope mills/ Fayetteville nc. I live 2 miles from there!
Was that Adrenaline we see in the background of the mooring field? What is going on with that boat?
Got you some of them chana boomers you need a tire pressure monitoring system 65 ft overall length is not legal in all 50 states good video guys I will have to watch the rest of it on my lunch our time to go to work and make some boat money

Great site Catamaran Supply. Thanks for making us aware of it!
Thank you for checking us out, Chris! Here to answer any future marine supply questions 😊⚓️
Maybe I missed it, but who or what is "Tula"?
Concerning the tire pressure, please follow the trailer makers recommended pressure. NEVER EVER inflate to the pressure on the side of the tire. Another great video!
I fallow you both, great funn!!!!
What’s up with Adrenaline? I saw her in the background but you didn’t talk about her. Does she have a new owner?
Try to find E range tires if possible. At the very least D range ! Carry 2 spares and get yourself a one piece ramp jack for tandem axles at Northern Tools or Tractor Supply.Take it from an old Fort Love your video that has towed a boat to the Keys for 45 years.
First chance you need to put nitrogen in the tires. Road heat doesn’t have any effect on the tire plus the tire will not dry rot.
I thought you were going to say sailing vessel "transvestite" I was like holy crap where was I, they named it transvestite! I guess I shouldn't be wearing headphones my hearings going.

Oh yeah I almost forgot, get rid of that copper pan you'll get poisoned with copper. 🚫 good!!!
It’s a cool boat and all but I like your old one better
I really like that boom but \I think thnk the design can be improved and be able to retrofit to all yachts
I just found you today, watched this and a few other recent ones and some from a few months back. You sold your catamaran, you are buying a new Seawind cat, how did you get involved with this Corsair?
Anyone know?
So having this corsair for a bit of time now, do you think the F37 would be able to cross oceans and cruise?
Absolutely.
did the tire make a "vroooom-tah" sound when it blew????
List everything on the inside of doors? The person who had me on told me to lash everything that you want to keep. We losses so much including the rudder.
What are you going to name it?
Hey Billy. Are you watching the America’s. Cup. The ac75. Mono haul. Foil. 49. Knots in 13. Knots of wind Crazy. I know !!!
Move the bumber back also amd you can have a vere small landing at your door
I’m sure Jetty had nothing to do with missing pork. 😁
I like Tom Cunliffe dock lines.
My boat experience is that IF something can go wrong, it will. And with boats, anything can go wrong. I am not a fan of having to haul a trailered boat down the highway long distances.
Who was flying the drone ?
Or did you just let it hover and film. On auto
was that Adrenaline I, I saw in the background ~11:00?
Look into “tire minder “ they’re in Florida
