I have a Canon G12 that i still use alot and i love it. Form factor wise, its absolutely perfect for my hands and its easy to control everything one handed. I always throw it in the bag when i go out🔥
these turned out fantastic! I have that exact camera a G9 sitting around and am inspired to take it out and shoot. I may steal your color settings though! Excellent POV vid. Great music
Looks pretty damn good. Special thanks for showing the settings you used at the very end of the video. Maybe in the future I'll buy the same camera, I'll know the settings right away). A small idea for improvement (you might like it) is to add ISO, shutter speed and aperture settings to each photo.
Thank you. And thanks for the feedback. I only provide information about ISO, shutter speed and aperture in videos where I take photos in manual mode. Because in AV mode the camera sets everything itself except for the aperture. And here I was mostly only using aperture 5.6. :)
Really enjoyed my G9. Used to be this guy that made accessories for it like a nicely tooled improved metal grip that you would adhere with a piece of double stick tape. Only thing I didn't like about the camera was anything low light which was practically anything indoors. I'd convert a huge portion of indoor shots to B & W just to make it look like film instead of terrible looking color.
Unfortunately, I don't know the Nikon P7100. I wanted to buy it and test it, but then it was sold. So you can't go wrong with the G11. But the Nikon is also supposed to be very good. A difficult decision. Based on my experience so far, I would probably go for the G11.

Vielen Dank. Da würde ich sofort bei der Canon G9 bleiben. Die Nachfolger fand ich nicht mehr so schön. Sie ist zwar etwas schwerer, hier wurde anscheinend noch richtig gute Qualität verbaut. Dennoch schön handlich und die Bilder haben Ihren Charme.

@pixelkiez I see. Maybe I will wait a bit because I found olympus mju 410 digital for just 20 euros. It's gonna be my first camera and my journey will be starting with it. Collecting it tomorrow. After I get my hands on good enough I will go for the g9

Yes, the cameras weren't that good in low light back then. But you can save a lot with black and white.

Thank you. Maybe try TV mode and set the shutter speed to 1/250 or even 1/500. If the images are still blurry or blurry, I don't know what to do.
I am unable to buy a g9 in berlin but i am getting a g7 for around 110 euro. Should i go for it ?
I also want to shoot film photos without editing
The G7 is also okay. But I would try to bring the price down to 80-90 euros. 110 euros is too much in my opinion.

In my opinion there are very small differences.
I think it is...g9 has something special backed in its sensor that I didn't find in later models...it's the most organic and filmic of them all...
