@@ParkinsonRaw most welcome Ritchy you have a kind nature it seems .. calm and considerate .. hey I just thought of something I am interested in !!! When you stay at these places I’m wondering if you could ask if they do any discount if one was to pay like one hole month advance payment ?? In the Philippines it is 50/50 if they will or not !!! I know your one the move but curious if you could ask for general information… my experience is best to ask after a few days stay already so they know your character and your not a trouble maker 😂 … cheers mate .. sjb
@@StephenBrown-z4l Thanks mate, I’m very much live and let live, Life’s too short. That’s a great idea, I have done it at the odd place when I’ve seen it advertised. I’ll definitely ask more now.
Loads to do it looks busy on a night, a lot of competition for the Cambodian people with so many bars and restaurants. Loads of content you worked your socks off for this one really interesting. A well deserved pint look forward to tomorrows vlog😊
Everyday mate, I’ll be back in Thailand for Xmas. Thanks , if I can help with any advice or info don’t hesitate to message me. I answer all my comments👍🏻
So different from day to night time. Love a good walking street. It looks different than Thailand's though, or does it feel different? Shout out to us Aussies watching along 😁
Hi Greg, it is a little different as in there’s no girly bars everywhere it’s mostly big bars and restaurants. Big shout out to the Aussies it’s so much appreciated you guys joining me🇦🇺
I broke my good specs, snapped the arms off, got a pair of fit-over clear safety glasses, and just used a hair tie to put them together. Works brilliantly and if they hit the ground they won't break.
Not sure how long your staying in Cambodia but November 9 is independence day (public holiday and the 14,15,16 are water festival bank holidays too.... Never seen a water fest vlog in Cambodia, could be interesting?
No problem and thank you too. I don’t get out much on the night to be honest. I’m always getting the next days vlog set up. There is the markets and lovely walks up the river.
Did you consider also doing some blogging with your vlogs? I think your content would work well on the Hive blog platform. Keep up the great work Richy.
Thanks mate, in the future it’s definitely something I’m considering. At the minute I’m so busy with doing the daily vlogs and constant travel. Really enjoying it though.
@@ParkinsonRaw In the old days the police friend "What are you doing on Sok San Road ?" Bad area and warned bad for foreigners. He had followed to all evening to check on me. 🤣🤣
It depends if you’re going to the temple which can take 4/5 days to explore alone. I didn’t and stayed 5 days I think. That was more than enough to enjoy all the sights within the City to be honest.
Look forward to it Graham, it’s the only place where I’ve been spotted by subscribers too. Tbf I rarely go other than vlogging. I was in the Thai Tapas all day having Sunday dinner and a few cold ones. A couple of people recognised me.
Good on you for bunging the disabled guys, i saw a guy with no arms or legs selling lottery tkts in thailand ! makes me sick when i think about the uk benefits scroungers, nice day/night walkabout , dont see any street dogs, good or bad thing......?,. pub street looks good and not to busy, cheers ,.
Thanks mate, just shows what you can do when you have no choice. Then on the flip side in the UK drug addicts and alcoholics are treated as disabled, It’s insane. We work our backs off to pay taxes that go to people who think we’re mugs for working.
What I meant by lively is it’s the busiest place in the city, given it’s still low season it wasn’t that bad. One street? It’s in a cross. As far as the tuk tuk drivers go, they’re just trying to make to feed their families, you can get angry about that or just have a bit of fun with them. When they asked me where I was going I just touched my nose and laughed, like saying mind your own business. They seemed to understand that and laughed back. Just see it as it is and it’s not bother bud. It’s the same all over Cambodia, very poor country and I can’t see it getting any better any time soon👍🏻
@@ParkinsonRaw ok, thanks. I was in Phnom Penh for several months last year. I don't expect Siem Reap to be as "dynamic." I'm just a bit worried about finding fun there.
red piano is the best for food there.always good quality, and beers are cheap.
Thanks I remember seeing that, I’ll check it out next time I’m there.

Ahh man, I was planning on leaving about the 9th. I might just catch Independence Day Roger. I’m on a tight timeline to get through Vietnam and Laos.
Nice one Richy. Thanks for the walk around. Is there anything for those who dont drink to do anything in the evening?

I’m doing really good thanks Mitch. You too mate.

Not see police? They are all around. I hope to meet you in Jan. Crocodile is just a tourist gimmick. In evening go to Khmer pub area. Cheaper and fun.
I did see police eventually but not often. I did like the Khmer area too.

Hello Richy..whats the score with tipping?
Hi mate, if it’s a good service/food I usually leave 10/20% but it’s not expected.
How many days would you recommend staying in Siem Reap?

Khymer walking st Richie grab a motto and go.if you make it back to kan at Christmas theres a beer waiting for you
I’ll take you up on that Graham I’m determined to be back for then. I love it in Kanchan so makes sense for me to be there.
@ParkinsonRaw I lived there for 12 years . Love the surrounding countryside so much to see and do.
See you there pal.

Richard where are you?
Hi mate, I have a flight booked for next week and vlogs to follow.
which hotel did you like the most in Siem Reap?
Definitely Antonio’s mate, a lot quieter and cheaper. Also you have the pool etc.
it's different for one simple reason ,no girlie or go go bars
Yeah I personally prefer it like that tbh.
2 many bars now,,not making money,,,in sok san road
I got that impression when I was there Ross
Pub Street is one Street and thats it, very Lively my Ass, i couldnt wait to get out of Seam Reap., Tuk Tuk Drivers drive you Friggin Nuts. 😃

The one thing that was mildly annoying was the dual pricing. That for me is what will stop people returning 👍🏻
So, to be clear, the nightlife in Siem Reap sucks?
It was low season so not as busy as usual but no I never said that mate
@@ParkinsonRaw ok, thanks. I was in Phnom Penh for several months last year. I don't expect Siem Reap to be as "dynamic." I'm just a bit worried about finding fun there.
@seans7228 I’ll be honest I don’t go out late so I have no idea but I can see it being good in high season.
