I love Gallatin. My boyfriend's uncle Herman O'Neal used to live there. We Don't live in Tennessee but we love going down there. Its beautiful. We will have to check out that cemetery out next time we go.We go to West Moreland and Nashville too.
Absolutely check it out...Conway Twitty is in a different cemetery in Gallatin also.
@rockytoptraveler thank you for letting me know I will definitely check him out
You might want to go back to the cemetery. I live in Gallatin. Conway Twitty is buried in the mosoleum. He is buried under his legal name, Harold Lloyd Jenkins. His wife has a place next to him. Often someone would scratch her name up. Her name plate would have to be replaced. She was married to him when he passed away. The house that you saw is what the locals call The Castle. It is a private home. It is very much worth driving by to look at. It is beautiful. It's in a pretty area. It looks like an actual castle. You can Google it.
Thanks for the info on the house..it is huge!!! I also did a video of Twitty City and his grave. Thank you for watching!!!
@@rockytoptraveler I just happened to see your video about the cemetery. It was the first video of yours that I had seen. A lot of people don't realize Conway is buried in a small town. They think he's buried in the more famous cemetery in Hendersonville.... I'll watch your other videos, too.
@@cindylouwho9215 Thank you so much!!!
Great Vlog
Thank you so much!!!
Yes I agree with the first comment. At the other cemetery owned by crest view ( just past Vic Jenkins car lot) take the light to go to the Gallatin civic center and on the corner is the cemetery where Conway Twitty lies. I grew up in Gallatin. When our children were in high school they were a group that did volunteer work at both cemeteries. My children knew what a fan I was of Conway Twitty so they knew exactly who the name Harold Jenkins was.
If I remember correctly T Tommy had a log house on hwy 25 going towards Cottontown.
One of the legends of Bluegrass still lives not far out of Gallatin…. Haskell McCormick. He is a very talented but very humble and down to earth wonderful Christian man.
Thanks for watching...I did a video on Twitty City and his grave
My dads favorite was beneath still waters.
