A long time ago, there really was "I do + verb". But later "do" was lost. 😊

hi Drew, l have question for you. Do we have to learn words everyday? l mean do we have to do that, or let it go just spontanously? because every passage, or every movie, or every whatever we do in english lf we try to learn words what we do not know in them that be hard and boring. What are your advices?

This is why we need to review things, and in different ways. The mind naturally drifts. :)

Been following your content for a while and love your perspective...
I have question though that's been bugging me😅
can we say that every word has a "root" meaning?
if yes what about different senses of words like "take" "through" "pick" etc. in many phrasal verbs?
    Love ❤from Iran

Not every word has a root. But they all have history. :)

@@EnglishAnyone I guess I used the wrong word, I meant a "core meaning" that you can find its flavor in different contexts a word is used
