What you mean when we all combine? We always have mate, with all due respect.... Apart from a very small number of extremists in parts of Ulster, and the invading forces, we have always been a very united, fun, good craic, good humoured, very good natured, funny and united bunch of people - ask anyone who has ever travelled over here to our tiny paradise - it's impossible to come and not to have a rip roaring fantastic time!!!!.....
This must have been a magical night, to be at this concert and to see and feel al this.... I have seen all this clips on RUclips before, it is so beautiful.... 💜🌹
Celtic woman is a remarkable group. The idea was 1 show. But the talent is so good. They have been out for over 20 years. With many talented and beautiful ladies. After a while you get use to the always switching of talent while you miss the previous ladies you will quickly fall in love with the new talent. And some of the previous performers will come back from time to time. I been a fan for many years. I love Celtic woman. ❤
@@josephinemonahan915 yes he is, musical genius background. Because of him leaving Twink I tend to forget about him. Adele King and I have a good friendship. Definitely great genes to be the amazing talent that she is today.
This was filmed at Sloan Castle in Ireland at the end of this tour. I was able to go to this concert when they were performing in the US (Red Rock, Colorado). Amazing to watch it live, it was more a show then a concert. I was lucky to see them twice in concert. 😊😁
Was it Sloan? or Slane?? Yes! I got to see them twice also. (in San Diego, CA). I believe it was 2006 and 2009. When the singers were Orla, Meav, Lisa, Chloe, and Mairead on the fiddle.
@@michaelwright4525 Sadly Orla had just left before the this tour ended, and I think you're right, it's Slane. We've got tickets of both concerts put away as keepsakes (got the DVD's too). 👍😊
These are some of the best voices in the entire world. But theres just something different when you hear Chloe Agnew start singing. So subtle and angelic.
This was one of my late wife's favorite songs. It was playing while I held her as she took her last breath after losing her battle with Leukemia and i played it at her funeral. Anytime she heard this she would grab my hand so tight and she would hold me as close as she could. 13 years after losing her, whenever i hear this today i only remember how lucky i was to have had the love of such a beautiful woman, inside and out. 13 years after losing her when I hear this today I still know and feel like the luckiest man that ever lived. Because of this song I will always know that no man should be as luckiest man that ever lived. Anytime we were out in public people always stare at her and I and i could hear them asking "how could I have a woman as in love with me as she clearly was just by the way she clung to me". Thank you for sharing.

PLEASE consider my suggestions, and TY for reacting to this!!! You got MY thumbs up!
I have to ask - between this and Riverdance (for such a small country) - what ya make of the Irish interpretation of music and dance? (I think it's beautiful - but then I am biased!!!)
@@daren7889 , They absolutely did. It was the last event we all attended. My parents health failed soon after. Mom had Alzheimer’s. But that event will always be a wonderful memory for me.
Have seen them twice and have multiple dvd/cd of the. They are outstanding, music as it should be. Love the shirt by the way. May I suggest you pick up the Book, MINDSET, by Carol Dweck. It’s a deep read but I learned SO much from it. Thanks, a great reaction!
This is as gospel as it gets. This is a standard praise song as u can get in the Irish Catholic Church.some of the best singers ever. Listen to Alison Kruse and union station- the gold standard in pitch perfect. Go to wings of Pegasus and watch his voice graphs.
😥this gets to me everytime I hear it as it makes me think about those I have love who have passed away over the last five years ... my husband, my sister, my brother and my mother have now joined my dad who passed in 1992.
This is an amazing version of the song and so beautifully arranged. I think there's something about the booking l violin and orchestra that beautifully complements the amazing singing. I think there must be something with the Irish singing voice that just brings out the maximum emotion in this song. I also the Westlife version of this song, which I think it's equally as amazing as I think even more powerful. If was, I believe, their 13th UK number one. If you haven't seen their version please check it out, maybe you could even react to it on the channel?
You can't really go wrong with any of their music. My favorites are Dulaman, The Voice and At the Ceili. If you like the violinist I would recommend looking into her work on Lord of the Dance and Feet of Flames. One of my favorites is Dueling Violins. ruclips.net/video/YYyejb8AluM/видео.html Her name is Mairead Nesbitt, she's the one with the long hair.
This is my favourite version of this song other than the original by Josh Groban of course 😁 It also helps that I love Celtic Woman😅 but their voices are beautiful and each one of them reminds me of Barbie movies (the songs are surprisingly good XD) and the fit really well in the genre of Celtic folklore which I love ^^ Can I suggest a reaction to another Celtic Folklore singer? Heather Dale. Many of her songs are based on Celtic and Arthurian Legends. Some of my favourites of hers are As I Am, Tristan and Isolt, The Trial of Lancelot and Mordred's Lullaby.
This song was written by Brendan Graham and Rolf Lovland - words and music respectively. It was originally performed by the group Secret Garden with invited singer Brian Kennedy in 2001. Rolf Lovland is one of the members of Secret Garden with Fionnuala Sherry. It's a Norwegian/Irish group. You should listen to Brian Kennedy. When I first heard him singing it the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. Josh Groban is just one of many people who have performed the song since then.
Loved the Celtic Women but your like 20 years late..lol. These gals are fantastic. Fabulous voices and of course the pixy violinist. The members changed throughout the years. The middle two were consistent for many years. Chloe the blonde eventually left for a solo career.
They always sound good but they are bit to american overproduced for me to really get enthusiastic. They are always controlled and tidy, nothing left to chance while irish music actually has a lot of vocal color and grit.
My beloved violonist , Mairead , and the band makes me always cry. Love that song!
My God! These women sound so beautiful, their voice, their looks, their harmony! Wow! Just WOW!
The best voices of Ireland….period.
The music for You raise me up was written by Secret Garden, an Irishwoman and a Norwegian. Brendan Graham the Irish songwriter wrote the lyrics.
I love the Irish ☘️ voice especially when they all combine into one! ❤
