Thank you Sarah, for calling out Coach Harbs on his part in lack of playoff successes since 2012 !
As.much as there are plenty of teams that would snap up John if he left Baltimore, there are plenty of coaches who would not have lost playoff games (by getting away from their historic run games) after destroying every good team they played in the regular season !

Really? Did you not see Brian Billick in his later years? In 2003 and 2006 they dominated almost every playoff team they faced in the regular in those two years, only to crap the bed in the playoffs. Harbaugh is not alone, heck even Mike Tomlin did this plenty of times with the Killer B's in Pittsburgh.

He’s 2-4 in the playoffs with 6 TD’s and 6 INT’s. That speaks for itself. I know it’s not all on Lamar but if you want the narrative to change he needs to play better in the playoffs. Really is odd, that he seems to somewhat acknowledge that the Ravens way isn't conducive to big WR numbers. That its a part of what makes big FA receivers wary of coming here. Then he goes on a long involved anecdote involving Manning. How is that relevant? Manning had the keys, way earlier in his career than Lamar. He was always in a scheme far more balanced. Still, didn't do any better than Lamar his first 6 seasons, in terms of playoff success. This guys one of those goal posts carriers. It's no coincidence, that he co signed the calls for Lamar to switch positions when he came into the NFL. He was in the crowd, believing he wouldn't have success in the league, with his style of play. Now that he can't say, that he can't win, he switches to, let's burn him for not having playoff success fast enough. The mental gymnastics, are in overdrive. I don't care if the scheme hampered you for years. I don't care if you have contemporaries that also haven't won a chip yet. I don't care if you haven't had elite help. I need to diminish all of the positives on your resume. I know people like Nick Wright, will jump on this train. He's just like that anonymous coach. What you haven't done, will always outshine anything you accomplish. These guys can't help being totally see through.

Brees and Rodgers got 1 first round pick at WR between both of them (it was Brandon Cooks, who was traded from NO in his rookie contract) and that's over 40 combined seasons as NFL QBs.

But, being a passive audience is not my BMore way. Any college student can do it, again ask the AI ... Mark understands more about OF football than anyone in the comments..... Jackson is a victim of bad front office... Yeah, But, some fans do not die on a Hill for Millionaires like Biscotti and now LJ. Git it done!!! Gotta at least give Mark credit for coming on the show. Think you both did a great job setting the record straight on points like the real reason why Marquise Brown left Baltimore and who saved whose job between Lamar/Harbaugh. At the end of the day, we have to realize that there will always be skeptics who push narratives about Lamar until he lifts that Lombardi this February. And depending on how biased they are against his style of play or how skeptical they were of him in the pre-draft process, it may not even be till back to back titles before they reluctantly rank him where he deserves. Considering how the Ravnes in general and Lamar in particular feed off the skepticism, keep it coming en route to that 3rd MVP and 1 of many rings to come.

I do not feel bad as zi read other comments that not everyone has an hour plus to examine every detail in the broadcast. I apologize because Sarah did a great job. She really pushed Mark but he pushed right back... Arguably, she definitely did not defend the Ravens... She actually went hard at them... Honestly, the clip which focuses on Mark's segment was A plus , plus.... It was tense, exciting and honest... My point though is I am not Jackson fan nor a Dilfer nor Flacco guy. The standard is not a Bernie Kosar or Pre Terrel Davis Broncos standard. The standard is a Ray Lewis standard... SB or bust!!!

It's Greg Lewis job to develop receivers. Did Zay get a personal fouls in the championship game? Did Zay fumble at the one yard ? It's 31 quarterbacks in the NFL to critique but Lamar is always brought up by analysts for exposure. Bucky Brooks did it 3 years ago Mike Foolio did it last year, and now this clown.

  • @seanb4688

I disagree with the development comment made about Lamar and his WRs. I believe both Lamar and Monken have done a great job featuring Zay and showcasing his 1st round talent. I can't remember what round Mark was drafted in but Lamar and MAN-drews have developed a continuity that has 89 a-top the TE list and even Likely being a backup to Mark has carved out a name for himself due to his connection with 8. Hollywood even as an undersized wideout was clocking 1000 yrd due to his developed connection with 8. I haven't heard too much about Willy Snead sense his departure from Charm city but when he was here, he and Lamar connected on many big time 3rd downs. I truly believe he would have built a name for himself if it was in the cards for him to remain a Raven, he and Lamar had a real connection as well. I maybe misunderstand Marks use of the word "developing" WRs but from my vantage point Lamar is feeding his guys and his guys are very receptive to his in game coaching. I do like the story Schlereth told about Manning icing receivers out of practice for not running the route the way Manning wanted it ran. That may speak to what could be going on with 7 and 8 on the field. They seem like two drastically different personalities that still need more time to develop that TRUZZ. I mainly think this due to injury and some off the field growing pains but I bet 7 has a breakout szn this year.......I hope

One of the things that I wish was addressed was, if he believes that Josh Allen and Joe Burrow are better QBs than Lamar, then why aren't they talked about having wayy more pressure on them than Lamar. Lamar has proved he can consistently make the playoffs, has great regular season awards, but the other QBs in the league that haven't achieved half of what Lamar has achieved, then they need to be under WAY more pressure than Lamar. Those teams like the Bengals and Bills have bet their future on QBs that haven't accomplished hardly anything. Make it make sense 🙄

He said something a long the lines of Lamar has more pressure because he’s a two time MVP so that could be taken as him favoring Lamar over Allen and Burrow. Allen and Burrow have both played better in the playoffs though so I believe it’s debatable who’s better between those 3. I personally take Lamar but I get why people may choose Allen or Burrow.

Only 10 mins in and I agree 💯 with Mark so far. Lamar is NOT demanding greatness and perfection from his WRs and from the outside looking in doesn't work with them nearly enough like a Brady or Peyton would. Lamar SHOULD have 2 rings rn tbh... BOTH of his MVP szns we had the talent to win it all. I agree 💯 that if you and your WRs aren't on the same page then you get things like Lamar not throwing WRs open but rather waiting to throw the ball AFTER a break/cut instead of knowing where they are going to be and where he wants/needs them to be. Demand perfection, if you fall short of perfection then at least you'll still be great

Do you realise you managed to compare Lamar to Brady and Peyton rather than his contemporaries? That IS the problem because it is not truth you seek to communicate but a narrative. He's not at the stage of his career to be doing things those two greats did when they had had timw to develop in the league. Everybody agrees that among hos contemporaries, Mahomes is in a class of his own. If so, with the rest of the other QBs, which of them ia doing what you're requesting of Lamar or is even expected to? You see the problem? You can't just manufacture a different standard for Lamar, expect him to do things retired greats did while using that to rank him lower than contemporaries who are neither doing what you're asking of Lamar or have even been close to doing same.
