Exactly. The defense carried him while having like the highest scoring offense in the League. Only reason Lamar didn't have 40 touchdowns is because he'd get taken out of games early. And they kept it simple and just had Gus run it in at the Goal Line for touchdowns.

I disagree that Lamar winning the Superbowl would silence most of his detractors. Not only does he need to win it but he'd have to ball the hell out. It's not that Ravens and Lamar fans have a problem with any criticism of Lamar, it's the constant moving of the goal post. If the Ravens win the Superbowl but doesn't ball out then they'd rant about the defense won it or point to their opponent lost the game. The goal post will always shift regardless. I suggest Lamar and even us fans not allow his haters to rent any space in his and our head. He needs to just ball out and remember that feeling after the AFC championship loss at home.

I wouldn't count Malik out because he takes one roster spot and can play multiple positions. He's a WR, could probably kick return or punt return, he will have to be proficient at being a ST gunner, AND he could play QB in a pinch. Ravens love players like that.
LJ8 has been a game changer since the day he stepped on the field in 2018!!! Apparently, there is a way to play fb in the NFL that Lamar doesn't ascribe to and therefore he does his own thing and he messed up "the NFL program" up!!! Remember: The league is only 3 years removed from the RULE that said that black players can't be qbs because they supposedly didn't have the INTELLIGENCE to play the position!!! Who remembers superbowl losers?? Which teams did the patriots beat and the QBs on those teams without googling it? My point being no one remembers superbowl losers , but MVP winners are documented and remembered which Lamar has two. Burrow, the superbowl loser, has no MVPs and Lamar owns him in head to head battles. Josh Allen again has no MVPs and has never been to a superbowl, which is irrelevant anyway if you lose.
