      Awesome to watch. He was fearless. But statistically he had too many turnovers in big situations. They had to trade him to take the team to the next level. He ended up at a younger team that really had no identity. If he had been surrounded by other veterans he could have made the transition.

    Man I remember seeing J. Williams play on TV back in the day and maybe I underestimated his skill back then, but looking at this footage makes me realize how special a talent he was. That assist using the right elbow was jawdropping.

      Pete Maravich. Was the king...none better.. Average 44 point in college all time leader.. a magician with the ball...jason could not shine his shoes...he scored 72 points against the Knicks Clyde Frazier's was guarding him...look him up..pistol Pete.

    So glad I got to see Jason Williams play in person in Sacramento at Arco arena. He brought excitement to the fans, and we started getting sellouts every game. The kings were wonderful back then.

    No doubt one of the most entertaining players of his time. As a fan of his it was frustrating to see all of the highlight reel passes that went off of teammates or out of bounds. It used to drive the coach crazy.

    The current two most talented players who will never get to the HOF are. Chris Weber and Jason Williams. J Will isn’t even remotely close, but the talent was there. Don’t try to tell me I’m wrong, because look. Look at the video. If he would’ve had more confidence in his scoring, and learned how to pair that with his playmaking, he could’ve easily been a HOFer. His shooting form was butter, he just never had enough confidence to take over a game with his scoring. He played a little too humble. He was flashy by nature, but also humble when it came to scoring, always felt like he was the last person who should be shooting. Didn’t help his game at all.

    I think on "4's", where he receives a pass and doesn't dribble it, he takes 4 steps.....He was a showman, his career was up and down, but in the end, he's OK.....glad for him.
