Awesome video. I met Abdul Qadir in Lahore, Pakistan in a ground near his house. I was fortunate enough to chat with him for a while. He was very down to earth. I asked him and he showed me how gripped and bowled different deliveries. The icing on the cake was that he invited me to net practice session and I got to bowl at him in the nets. He was an awesome leg spinner and a great person.

Absolutely *LOVED* watching Qadir bowl. So mesmerizing.
Even on his bowling approach and the way he'd get revs on the ball and lick his fingers even that was spell binding.
But once that ball hit the pitch oh man what a magician. His googly was something of pure beauty.
Without doubt one of the Greats. Introduced the television World to something called *leg spin bowling*
    Thanks Abdul rest well Legend!
    Form *New Zealand* 🇳🇿👍

The most difficult art in cricket, leg spin...!!! It is such a joy to see these magicians weaving their tricks. Each had his own class, Quadir,Warne,Mustaq Ahmed Sivaramkrishnan, Benaud ,Hirwani, Kumble ... sometimes they are so deceptive they get the batsmen bamboozled with rank full tossess...!! want to see many more of these magic bowlers in future..!!

In 1992, I met him at Under-14 trails at Airport Ground in Karachi, Pakistan. Down to earth person! He was treating us like his own sons!!!! Touseef Ahmed, Mohammed Aneef And Abdul Qadir were there. Rasheed Latif And Saeed Anwer used to come and visit my brother at Malir Sports ground in Karachi. My brother used to play by Malir JamKhana. Then, He moved to Ideal Department. Old days(1990-1994). There were the top of the top players in Karachi! The cricket was at its best!!! I will never forget those days!!!! Nihari , Naan And chai were the most common things among them.

I still remember vividly that day when he got man-of-the-series award of a one-day series(a luxury-car key) and gave it to one of the younger players of that Pakistan team! Such a selfless team man he was! I adored his bowling action! He will be remembered eternally for his humility on and off the field, and for his keen mind which kept the batsmen guessing what is next! Rest in peace. My condolences to the family.
