He's God, he's The Devil, he's Light, he's Dark, he's The Moon, he's The Sun, he's Right, he's Left, he's Love, he's Hate, he's Life, he's Death, he's Water, he's Fire, he's Pull, he's Push, he's Good, he's Bad, he's Woman, he's Man, he's Positive, he's Negative, he has to be like.. SOO many things😭😭 and it can get kinda confusing becuz not every single dynamic is completely the same down the line, ya kno?
For example, Just becuz Death is associated with Negative, in the same way it's associated with The Devil, doesn't necessarily mean Death is Bad.. or Evil. What I'm objecting to is that they can't leave it at that. No, they have to say there's a REASON for it, something that's easily understood, an explicit motive and origin explaining it.
By tacking a backstory onto the revelation they kill its grandeur. The One Above All should be like the Joker's true name, or Doctor Manhattan's adopted son Clark, or the Black Hand, or the good hand that made the DC universe, or Doctor Who's backstory. Something better left mysterious, up to our imagination, up to FAITH, beyond our full understanding. Empty space can make ideas bigger. There doesn't have to be a plot here, the revelation is enough.
Or, it was. Now it's become less. Limited. Explained, all for just another storyline. "Oh, yeah, God became the One Below All to fight a big evil monster! Understood."

At the end of Immortal Hulk, it was revealed that One Below All was essentially the One Above All's Hulk form. So we knew One Above All transformed into One Below All just never why until now.

This very concept proves that some writers don't understand the concept of the One Above All. TOAA is quite literally a stand in for the writers of the comics, a vessel for the comic writers to interact with the characters if they ever have to. The only way his "dominion" can be challenged would be for this creature to exist in our real life world and for this comic book character to go to war with the real world writer of the comic, it doesn't make any sense. TOAA is omnipotent and omniscient, and could write TOBA out of existence completely if he wanted to
