I would also love to see a video about some actual science behind attempts to grow hair faster (scalp massage, various oils and plants that are said to promote hair growth, vitamins, increased water intake etc). Does any of these things really work, and can you actually force your hair to grow faster?

i think japanese straightening is the best because then you dont have to use an iron my hair looked best when i did that btw you dont straighten 4-6 weeks lol every 6-8 months was fine for me when i did the japanese straightening.
before six months i straightened my hair chemically i want my curls back what can i do? the chemical straightener is damage ! i prefer the straightening iron
Hi Narine Theodwra -- Sorry to hear about your hair mishap. Unfortunately, chemical straightening is a more of a long term decision that can't be undone. If you don't like the results, the options are to wait till your hair grows out or have it cut. If you are unhappy with the straightening and wash it it during the "forming stage", the time period (48 hours) after you get it straightened, it's much easier to remove the straightening treatment because your washing out the chemical that is causing the new bonds to form. Did you do Japanese thermal straightening? That takes longer to grow out, since a Brazilian Blowout starts to wear out in about 3 months. I can tell you that hair grows at about 1.3cm to .09 cm a month, so depending on how long your hair is, it gives you an idea of how long it will take to grow out. I am sure other people out there are in the same boat, so I adding this topic to the list of videos I need to create. I will see what I can find to help you out.
