Joseph Seed is probably one of the best characters in videogames.. The player wants to kill him so bad but there was the element of; what if he was right and I love that New Dawn explores that.. He did an excellent job!
farc cry 5 is a proof that ubisoft is about imagination. they know how to create an awesome artwork, bud they often fail with implementation. but far cry 5 is a example of what cool vision done right look like
I'll say it again, the ending of that game left an impression, set a standard for how games could make me feel.. It caught me so out of left field, I remember getting chills in the bunker. Fun game with amazing actors!! It makes me happy the studio gave Greg such a good experience.
All this time later, I know exactly which dialogs he's referring to. That game worms its way into your head like none other. I've seen other games depict cults, but none so compelling, none so understandable, as Eden's Gate. If they weren't constantly trying to kill you, and constantly tolerating Jacob's nonsense toward your friends, you'd actually feel sympathy for them. Which kinda makes it hard to want to kill them. But that's Far Cry in a nutshell: everyone gets thrown into a crazy situation, killing seems to be the only way out, and then you're constantly compelled to question every decision you make.
New Dawn had all the cards in place to be one of the richest, deepest, best games ever. But they rushed it. It was half-baked. I was heartbroken at how half baked it was.
New Dawn wasn’t totally canon , it was a “what if ” scenario, it shows what would happen if the gamers chose to arrest the father in the beginning of the far cry 5 instead of walking away . If you did walk away ( that is if you skip the whole game ~~) then the story of far cry 6 will become canon , that is America wasn’t nuked and the father and all the other cultists were still alive . So basically the stories of far cry new dawn and far cry 6 happen in parallel universes , if you choose to confront the father and kill the cultists ,then the nuke happens ,therefore new dawn happens , if you choose to walk away ,then new dawn didn’t happen ,instead far cry 6 becomes canon.
@@Tombbistol my point is that they imply on ND that Josep Seed is an actual mesiah and that he predicted the whole thing and that in the end he was not that bad. where in the original 5 he was more like an extreme right extremist bent on fire armss and manipulation of the masses . and he did not predict anyhting he flat out stole nukes from the silos and nuked russia causing a response that ended humanity . it is like the people that made ND did not understand the message of the predesesor
