I know this video is a year old and I'm so grateful for it! My kitchen faucet sprang a leak on Sunday. Couldn't call Moen until Monday since they work Mon-Fri. I got my replacement hose today by Fedex and I'm so annoyed by not being able to use my kitchen sink I didn't have the patience to wait for my husband to get home to do it. So I went into RUclips found this video and I replaced the hose and O rings!!!!! Yay Me!!! Thank You SOOOOO Much!
Good things about this video: No annoying opening titles, no time-wasting intros, super clear instructions that work, the video is never too fast nor too slow with each step, and run-time is under 5 minutes. Areas of improvement for this video: I can't think of any.
Excellent job, Phil. I am not handy at all, especially with anything plumbing-related. But I was able to do this myself thanks to your video! You're very matter-of-fact, very deliberate, with no technical jargon. Makes it so easy for someone like me.
I agree, it was well made. It was also detailed but simple. I appreciate that there was no long intro or needless talking. Just a straight diy video. thanks
Excellent video! Walked me through replacing my leaky hose in a very simple and understandable way. Was able to do it myself and probably save a couple of hundred dollars for a plumber. Thanks much Phil!!!
Thank you so much! My Moen faucet was clogged up and I had no idea how to check the wand filter. I didn't think the hose could be removed from the wand but your video was a faucet saver! I replaced the cartridge and cleaned the aspirator filter to no avail. The only thing left was the wand filter which, after seeing your video, I simply unscrewed and found a ton of bad looking Gunk and Junk in there. Removed all of that and bingo, the faucet runs at full strength again! Thanks!!!
Phil, you were perfectly clear and 100 percent right in this video. Nice job! Thanks a lot. Moen sent me replacement parts with instructions that my wife "cleaned up" and lost forever. Thanks for fixing my sink and my marital problems.
you saved me some money, I have the same issue, almost bought a new faucet for over 100 and decided to lookup on here and found this great video, I didn't know the hose can be replace. Spent only $18 in an original Moen part, great short video. Thanks so much.
Thank you for these super helpful and easy-to-follow instructions to replace the hose. The hardest part was actually finding the Moen hose kit on a Sunday morning. Once I found it, ordered the part for pickup, the whole disassembly and reassembly literally took minutes, even for me, someone born with two left hands. Thanks again!
Watched your video and it took me longer to clean the area under my sink out in order to complete the 2-3 minute task. Thanks alot for the how to video, it was very helpful not to take away from the fantastic design moen incorporated.
My husband and I are not mechanically inclined. This video is so AWESOME, we followed it step by step and easily replaced our Moen hose with no problems! Easy peasy! By the way, I called Moen and they sent me the hose and o-ring and screen filter for FREE! I did have to wait about 10 days for the replacements, but it was worth it. Thanks again for a GREAT tutorial video!
Really helpful video. I was trying O rings, with no success. Kept looking on RUclips and found this video. It was as easy to install hose as per your instructions. Thanks
We have a newer Moen Arbor and while the weight no longer comes off with a lock mechanism, the procedure is still very much the same. Despite being a difficult job for me physically, your video gave me the confidence to tackle it myself rather than wait for my more able bodied wife to do the job. I appreciated that a lot and know she does too! Thank you for doing this video. The closeups made it clear, concise and inclusive.
Thank you for the great video, I was going to change the whole kitchen faucet, because the hose was leaking and finally it got separated from the head. So I was going to change the whole Moen faucet, it's $200 After I saw your video I checked on home depot app and searched for the hose and it's only $20 dollars. Thanks for the great video, I am relieved that it is just a simple replacement of the hose, not the whole faucet. 😀
Awesome video. Saved me more than two hundred dollars getting a plumber to do this for me. Took me exactly 5 mts to replace the leaky hose and clogged head. Thanks a ton 🙏
Thank you for this easy to follow video. I was able to replace this leaky hose with just the cost of the hose. You saved me a call to the plumber. Really appreciate you posting this!
You bet! I have a lot of home DIY videos. Please subscribe to my channel, and use it for reference. I hope my other videos will help you out as well. Thanks for taking the time to comment, Belle!
Phil - thank you for the excellent video! Posting the parts needed right at the beginning allowed me to find a OEM Moen part on Amazon and it arrived the next day. The replacement took only a few minutes and your clear instructions saved me a ton of time and stress. Thank you!!!
Excellent video! It gives you all the information you need, without any time wasted with unnecessary explanation. The video images clearly showed what needed to be done, and how to do it. I wish all You Tube "fix it" videos were this good!
I watched this vid this morning to figure out how to get my pullout faucet hose back in! It fell down when I was trying to tighten it to stop the minor drip. Not sure what I did wrong. This is not in my wheelhouse but I knew it had to be easy. First I called a plumber only to find out they are booked out 3 months!!! This is my kitchen sink and I need it fixed today!!! Watching this showed me what to look for and I was able to fix it myself!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
Great video. Thanks Phil. After viewing your video, I was able to complete the new hose install in less than five minutes. Really appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
This video was super helpful. I’d add that the hose has water and you should have a pan to catch it when doing the quick disconnect. I was a little dismayed that the hose didn’t come with the screen and O ring, but my old ones were fine.
well done well done. this is how all 'how-to' videos should be done. clear, concise, great camera work. no fancy techno-pop music as background music. well done
I made a mistake of removing the protective cap of the new hose way early. That simple mistake made feeding the new hose almost impossible. The protective cap makes the feeding end of the hose "smoother" so leave it on until the hose it is completely fed. Great video.
Thank You SIR!!!!!-I was going to pay a plumber to do this but after watching the video it's EASY!!! I have the EXACT same problem leaking at the same spot!!-Thanks again!!
Yes, Skyler! I can't stand the self-promotion intros. If the content is good and helpful, the popularity will take care of itself. People will either watch my stuff, ..........or not. Thanks for taking the time to comment, Skyler!
This is so much more concise and helpful than the first video I watched, where the other guy blathered on, hogging the camera. I was able to get the part from Moen for free- they asked me to take some pictures and did not demand a receipt. Thank you!!!
Yes! Moen did the same for me. I just wish the original product lasted longer than 3 years. This is my 3rd Moen product that didn't last more that 3 years (the other 2 were faucet cartridges). HOWEVER, they sure are good about sending new parts without hassle. So glad my video helped you. Thank you so much for taking the time to give me the positive feedback, I really appreciate it!
THANKS! If you want annoying music, watch my "grommet" video. Apparently , my taste in music sucks according to most people. That one video taught me to stop putting music in my vids. Thanks for the great comment! Hope my other videos help you out as well.
Thanks for the great video, Phil. Calmed my nerves significantly wondering what I was up against - and after watching it was I off to my plumbing supplier and job finished in no time. Appreciate your time and efforts making this beneficial video! Cheers.
Thanks for making this video. I followed the instructions and they worked. One note: I initially looked for the replacement hose at Ace and then at Lowes. I ended up having to order it from Moen. Although the hose was not under warranty, they sent the hose for the price of shipping ($15 for two day delivery).
This was very helpful. I just accidently pulled my spray end off and lost the hose but was able to fix it without calling a professional because if this video. Thanks again
I am NOT very handy around the house. I have a hard time nailing a picture frame to the wall (well, not that bad, but close). This video was SOOOOO very easy to follow. I succeeded in a matter of minutes to replace the old leaky hose. Thank you!
Great step by step video - I was able to replace my old leaky hose in no time at all. More importantly the video showed me that I could do it myself. Thanks!
Easy peasy. Thanks for posting. Moen sent me a link of the step-by-step instructions for the replacement (I was able to get a free replacement for the hose) but the instructions were not completely understandable.
Thank you for this video! You have no idea how much it helped me out! This one video alone makes your channel worthy of subscribing and liking for sure!
Great video! was able to fix my moen hose within 20 mins with this video and several others since there are several different versions of quick disconnects! I also called Moen and they sent me the replacement parts for free! So this whole project costs me $0.00!
Thank you for the great video. Your instruction and recording was perfect. It took less than 10 minutes and followed it along identically. It took longer trying to find the proper hose to order, so thanks for making these instructions painless (on an otherwise pain in the neck problem).
Thanks for the assistance, however, my quick release was a little different than the one shown in the example. I had to push two prongs on the back of the quick release to get it to come off. The same with the installation of the hose. I had to push the quick release in order for the hose to install. Everything was pretty much the same. Thanks again!
I have a KOHLER assembly that is much harder to install. It has a plastic collet that is a bear to work with. The collet clip broke on my assembly, which sprayed water all underneath the sink. Neither Home Depot or Lowes had the collet quick disconnect clip assembly, so I had to order from Amazon. The clip was $1.96, but shipping was $10.00... go figure!!! The replacement fixture is over $300.00. If this repair doesn't fix it, then NO MORE KOHLER. Time for an American-Standard or other brand.
I agree with the others, BRAVO on the quick and simple instruction, you're the bomb. I'm a stay at home mom with a leaky kitchen hose and now I can do this myself no problemo! Thank you
Emily, your comment really made my day! I get a lot of comments on many of my videos from stay at home moms. Knowing that my videos help folks out is what this is all about. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I hope my other videos are just as helpful. God bless you!
Thanks. Replacing the hose was like a snap by just following your instructiopns. Just had to find the sweet spot for the weight to fully retract the hose. Thanks again.
Thanks a lot. Your video is just what I need to know. My kitchen faucet hose has a problem, and I'm trying to search about replacing it, not the whole assembly of the faucet. Thanks again.
Great video. Better than most I've seen so far. Just replaced mine in 10 min. Took so long because had to go upstairs to turn off/on water at the main supply valve. Thanks a lot. BTW Moen kit came in the mail for free! Any of my next faucets will be Moen only. Had this one for about 10 years or more. Had replaced Quick Connect couple of times. They've sent it no charge as well.
Just replaced mine thanks to you, and believe me I ain't no plumber! The quick release where the new hose hooked into the water supply was a bit different, but it was no problem.
thanks so much for a clear, concise how to video. I fixed this so quickly and did get free parts from Moen, as suggested in the comments below. I'm sure this saved me hundreds of dollars!
Nice video. Did it myself. Got the hose on Amazon for about $23. I skipped getting a new O-ring and screen since mine were in great shape and Amazon wanted like $12 for the two tiny little pieces. They're easy enough to replace later on if you ever need them.
Thanks for the video! Just replaced it at my kitchen faucet. It was hard to placed a new hose because there were hot and cold hoses so the space wasn’t enough to slide the new hose thru but we did it! Thanks again!
Thanks for the video!! Just changed my parents out for them ! Literally took me 2 minutes lol this was so helpful. Dad said “how are you going to do it without any instructions?” I said RUclips I BET! He’s actually capable of it but it’s hard for him to get down in that tight of a space!
Thank you! My husband and I were both struggling to snap the hose into the quick connect until I watched your video and realized there was a protective cap on the end that needed to come off. 😬🤣
THANK YOU Phil!! I’m all thumbs when it comes to fixing stuff but your video and Moen’s simple parts made this sooooo EASY! My wife is shocked that I replaced her broken, leaky faucet hose so fast! I’m going to subscribe to your channel in case you have any other DIY videos I may need someday. Thanks again!!
Matt Hale, you just made my whole day! I love hearing that I helped someone out. I have a ton of random DIY vids....it's what I do. Thank you so much for subbing, my friend!!!!! God bless you!
I had this exact leak about 30 minutes ago! This video was a great inspiration. Luckily, I was able to take apart the hose and saw that the plastic hose inside the metal body was not sealing to the faucet head. If you take apart the connector you should find a nipple like piece that seals the plastic hose. You need to push the plastic end all the way to the middle of that piece and then wedge it into the connector. Then you can just screw it on to the faucet head and Voila! It beats buying a new hose if you can get it to work. *However, the leak in this video made it necessary to replace the hose because it doesn’t appear you can take the apart the end of the hose that connects to the faucet head. Thank you so much!
Tis is an excellent video. I feel confident that I can now change my faucet hose myself rather than have a plumber change me (a female) $300-$400. Thanks so much!
Hi Phil, my kitchen faucet hose is leaking and this video gave me a good idea. I see here that the Moen has life time warranty. I have a 67315 Moen and I will call them tomorrow and check. Very simple video
Not a good video. It's an EXCELLENT ONE!!!!!!!!! Thank you for doing it step by step and not wasting time with endless dribble about why you had to replace yours.

Your Welcome!! You explained everything so well, so easy to follow! My husband was so happy he didn't have to do it! lol

Glad it helped!

Excellent video! After watching your video once, I was able to change my Moen hose in less than 5 minutes! Thanks!
Glad it helped, Joseph! Hope my other videos are just as useful to you.
Thanks. Replacing the hose was like a snap by just following your instructiopns. Just had to find the sweet spot for the weight to fully retract the hose. Thanks again.
Glad it helped!
Thanks a lot.
Your video is just what I need to know. My kitchen faucet hose has a problem, and I'm trying to search about replacing it, not the whole assembly of the faucet.
Thanks again.
Glad I could help, Jake!
Great video. The techniques shown here were EXACTLY what I needed. Bravo!
Excellent!
Yes! I have to say.... even though My Moen product broke within 3 years, they did give me a free replacement.
Just replaced mine thanks to you, and believe me I ain't no plumber! The quick release where the new hose hooked into the water supply was a bit different, but it was no problem.
Hey, congratulations! So good to hear that you did it. Thanks for watching and commenting
Thank you! My son and I just replaced ours and it was EASY thanks to your video. You have a new subscriber.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUBBING!!!!!! Hope you find my other videos just as useful. Thanks again, Kristi!
Thank you. This video made replacement of the hose very simple. Your instructions were clear & very easy to follow.
Glad it helped
thanks so much for a clear, concise how to video. I fixed this so quickly and did get free parts from Moen, as suggested in the comments below. I'm sure this saved me hundreds of dollars!
So glad my video helped you out! Thanks for taking the time to comment!!!
Excellent video - clear & concise. I completed my sprayer hose replacement in just minutes. Well done, sir!
Glad it helped, Greg!
If there was a “perfect instructional video award” you would be nominated
THANKS, ED!!!!!!!!!
Nice video. Did it myself. Got the hose on Amazon for about $23. I skipped getting a new O-ring and screen since mine were in great shape and Amazon wanted like $12 for the two tiny little pieces. They're easy enough to replace later on if you ever need them.
That's great! Glad my video helped you out. $12 for the small parts is robbery.... id do the same thing.
Thanks! This made it so easy. Especially showing the plastic tip to take off and the "CLICK"
Glad it helped!
Thanks for the video! Just replaced it at my kitchen faucet. It was hard to placed a new hose because there were hot and cold hoses so the space wasn’t enough to slide the new hose thru but we did it! Thanks again!
Glad it helped, Esther!
Wow that was easy and I do not have any plumbing skills at all. Thank you so much!
You are so welcome!
Huge thanks. Saved me a ton of headache and tear down to fix my issue.
Glad I can help you out, my friend
Perfect video plus Moen sent me a replacement hose for free. Saved me a bunch of money. Thanks!
That's how you do it
Thanks, You just made my Saturday morning chore tomorrow a whole lot easier!
You got this!
Well done! Thank you! Very simple as you said but seeing it done makes the job faster and more confident.
glad my video helped!
Thanks for the video!! Just changed my parents out for them ! Literally took me 2 minutes lol this was so helpful. Dad said “how are you going to do it without any instructions?” I said RUclips I BET! He’s actually capable of it but it’s hard for him to get down in that tight of a space!
That is awesome! You are now officially MY family, Hannah!
Thank you! My husband and I were both struggling to snap the hose into the quick connect until I watched your video and realized there was a protective cap on the end that needed to come off. 😬🤣
Add my video helped you out!
So glad my video helped you out! Thanks for taking the time to respond.
Thank you so much for this video and the detailed and clear instructions! It was helpful to know that I can repair this myself.
excellent!
Never done this before, but your easy-to-follow video made my day. Thanks..!!

Thank you for posting this. It was very easy following your perfect instructional video.
Thanks for the nice words, Mary! I really appreciate it!
Tis is an excellent video. I feel confident that I can now change my faucet hose myself rather than have a plumber change me (a female) $300-$400. Thanks so much!
You're welcome, Dr Cook!
As others have said, great video. Very clear, detailed instructions made changing my Moen pull-down faucet hose extremely easy. Thank you
You're welcome!
Thanks!

Thank you! Simple, easy and very clear explanation. Awesome! Saved me a few hundred $$$.
This is what I like to hear!
Hi Phil, my kitchen faucet hose is leaking and this video gave me a good idea. I see here that the Moen has life time warranty. I have a 67315 Moen and I will call them tomorrow and check. Very simple video
Glad it helped
Not a good video. It's an EXCELLENT ONE!!!!!!!!! Thank you for doing it step by step and not wasting time with endless dribble about why you had to replace yours.
I don't like your comment. I LOVE IT!!!!! THANKS, GASTON!
